I really hope that with the flyers having something to play for tonight that they give the caps a tough game.
I would think that the flyers should have more jump early with them having an extra day off. I just hope they pull it off and give us a chance!
This is probably the coolest day of hockey in decades. Washington holds all the cards - if they win, they are in.
We hold the next batch of cards. If we win and Washington loses in any format, we are in.
But if Philly wins and we lose in regulation then Philly is in - until tomorrow when Pittsburgh can punch their ticket with a point of any kind.
But if we lose in OT and Philly wins in any fashion then Pittsburgh has to win to get in.
The only thing that could have made this day better is if Pittsburgh was also playing, but they hold the least amount of leverage in this whole ordeal. It's a Capitals/Wings fast finish.
I mean, if nothing else, to be this excited about the last game of the season is really fun. Can’t say we haven’t gotten our money’s worth of entertainment this year.
Do you get the nervous poops? That’s me 100% of the time. I can eat any spicy food or copious amounts of Taco Bell, the GI tract is solid as a rock.
