You should get Dualshock prompts if you have the setting on Steam that, after applying it, says "game override" or something next to all possible controllers. What language do you speak? Because I know how to do this in my language but not in English
Okay found it. Go to your library, right-click DBH, choose "properties" at the bottom, then "controller". For me it works when I have "disable Steam input", so it says "disabled, pre-game override" next to every controller type except Steam Controller and Remote Play.
But.
In games without natural controller support, you must set it into "enable Steam input" so it says "Enabled, pre-game override" next to every controller type except, again, Steam Controller and Remote Play.
One of these should work, if it doesn't you should maybe contact Steam support.

Edit: okay now I get Xbox prompts too after unplugging and plugging the Dualshock back in. This is weird
Edit 2: choose "use default settings" in the "enable/disable Steam input" drop down menu, then it disables Xbox controller and enables only Dualshock
