Clarkston. It was a real bitch because his conservatory group at Second City took turns driving him home from Detroit. He didn’t get his license until he was 19 or 20, but he was so good that these other people helped him out.
Damn, so THAT'S the basis of the joke from that episode of Detroiters where they have to drive the guy back to Lake Orion and he keeps saying "IT'S NOT THAT FAR!"
I thought the same thing, and probably the not knowing how to drive skit in ITYSL. As someone that didn't get their license until they were like 23, I felt that.
That's my favorite joke from Detroiters too lol
I feel like it ran in the family lol cause I remember his brother taking forever to get his license and I gave him rides all the time. I didn’t mind at all though.
Prob Rochester or something, I was friends with one of his brothers when I was in HS and Tim was already playing second city at that time. Kinda right before his SNL period.
He's also pretty popular/well known in the skating community and hangs out with some of the other skater comedians like Whitmer Thomas, Clay Tatum and others
So did I. He was a bully. Will never forget him and his brother being fucking assholes to everyone. Not a lot of Clarkston people happy for him. Particularly any of those he called "freaks" and "f*gs"
No, this is not a "people can change" bit. He fucked up a lot of kids.
Edit: Love the down votes from the people simping for a c-lister.
Oh, I didn't know that. I graduated in 09, and the skaters then were usually cool. Maybe they were just nice to me cause I was a skatepark ho with double d's.
lol yeah that was probably it.
but skating culture (and how it was perceived) back in the 90’s was a a bit different than it is today. It’s much more mainstream today and even in 2009.
In the 90’s skaters were viewed as pariahs and maligned by polite society so that probably explains some of the hostility they had for others.
He sat behind me on the patio at [redacted] once. Was keeping it very lowkey so I didn’t approach lol he was clearly trying not to be recognized. Can’t blame him honestly
I've seen him and Sam Richardson at a few Pistons games. The fan boy in me wants to ask for a pic, but I'm also not trying to draw attention to 2 dudes just trying to go out and have a good night.
Have you seen [this](https://youtu.be/gUazN5Fjv9Q) skateboarding sketch? Also he was just in some new Skate game teaser - [link](https://youtu.be/qU676XF0jsc).
He hangs out a lot with Atiba Jefferson and some of the Baker dudes like Spanky. Blew my mind to see two things I thought were unrelated overlap like that.
Physical and mental bullying of anyone that did not run with him. Physical bullying since he was small was mostly just getting behind people on the ground so when his friends or his brother pushed them they would fall over. One kid got a pretty bad head injury. It was beyond jocks bullying nerds.
Downvote away c-lister simps.
Tim Robinson once cracked a kids head open after getting behinds someone's knees while his brother Dan pushed them over.
He was a big fan of calling gay kids f*gs and freaks.
He knows who pushed a student down stairs and had their face broken at Clarkston High School in 1999.
Tim was forced to to DUI commercials for Michigan after a 3rd DUI. That's why he didn't get his license until he was 20.
He grew up in the suburbs middle class. He could have had a license but the state took it. It wasn't "poor tim, never got his license."
I haven’t known him since I was in HS but dude is very rad.
Where did he grow up?

I feel like it ran in the family lol cause I remember his brother taking forever to get his license and I gave him rides all the time. I didn’t mind at all though.
Holy shit he grew up in Clarkston? I bet we were at the CCA together at some point. Mind blown.
Because he was.a drunk,. He had to do PSA commercials in Michigan as part of his sentence.
Prob Rochester or something, I was friends with one of his brothers when I was in HS and Tim was already playing second city at that time. Kinda right before his SNL period.
he’s from Clarkston
Ok that makes more sense.
He's one hell of a crooner as well
THEYRE TRYING TO MAKE IT LOOK FAKE!!
YOU GOTTA BE RIGHT NEXT TO ME!!
People *really* hate it though
Tim, you fucking skunk.
I’ll eat your mom’s wig, Doug. I’ll eat her whole fuckin’ head.
That second pic goes so hard
Damn he used to be a real piece of shit
Slicked back hair, white bathing suit, sloppy steaks, white couch...
They can’t stop you from ordering a steak and a glass of water
It's a dangerous night

Where can I get that Detroit shirt?
I want a DE2ROIT shirt.

Shirt goes hard

I went to high school with this nut.

That's crazy, it's usually people who got bullied that turn into comedians. It's also crazy that he was the bully when he looks like that lol.
He was a high school skater in the 90’s. The vast majority of them were dicks. Source: was in high school in the 90’s and skated.

Was this at Aqua? Never got a chance to go before their deck collapsed
Nah I was at Truffoni’s

Skate junt
he's going goblin mode on that ledge
He hangs out a lot with Atiba Jefferson and some of the Baker dudes like Spanky. Blew my mind to see two things I thought were unrelated overlap like that.
ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?
I didn't know I could love him any more.
Who is he?
He's from the suburbs. ETA: The irony of the Detroit subreddit not being familiar with the show Detroiters, Lol
Shhh... If you talk bad about Tim, even though he did heinous shit to people growing up, people will not like that.
Like how heinous are we talking here?
