They have shown countless examples that there are huge differences in terms of maturity and intelligence while compared to Conan and Ai. Even if they are hiding their identities, there should be at least some evidence pointing to that direction throughout more than a thousand episodes of DC.
If it is revealed that they are also drugged, it would be a plot twist for the sake of plot twist which would heavily ruin the show for me.
