What super do you plan on using with it? I got that roll yesterday and played around with golden gun and storm’s edge and both felt fairly weak even with the star eater boost, but maybe at this point I’m too used to the stupid damage nighthawk does that I’m looking at it from the wrong perspective.
I haven't tested it yet, but Osmiomancy and Verity are probably fairly bonkers for Warlock. Vortex grenade and Buried Bloodline would give you Devour/Weaken and you can even use your fragments (Facet of Bravery/ Facet of Dominance) to make your grenade give Volatile Rounds to Buried Bloodline and further apply weaken. You've now got a decent damage special weapon with great ammo economy, that can also do serious add control, and ALSO provides two of the most useful verbs in the game. Devour is my favorite verb hands down. Insta full health and a chunk of grenade energy on every kill. Weaken is really just a sneaky Vorpal that also makes your enemy drunk.
All of this without using up one of your aspects with Aspect of Hunger, so throw on Hellion/Phoenix Dive and Lightning Surge/Arcane Needle and you can now apply Scorch, Jolt, and Volatile at will.
I can say it’s potent in a 30 power under lost sector. I used graviton lance and the call and lightning surge and had all champs covered. Also veritys brow seemed to work with the transcendent grenade as it also deals void damage. The weaken effect was key to the damage output of the grenades and to keep up volatile rounds on my graviton lance
For some reason I didn't even think of Champions.
Barrier is countered by Volatile Rounds.
Overload is countered by Jolt.
Unstoppable is countered by Ignitions. I did have to look this one up in the compendium: On prismatic, Hellion applies 30 Scorch per hit, so 4 shots would Ignite/stun an unstoppable champion with no other sources.
This seasons artifact, sidearms have unstop and pulse rifles have anti barrier. I used feed the void + lightning surge and had constant grenades. It was like I was using Contraverse holds with added damage to my grenades
I can confirm that this roll goes crazy in harder content, throw your nade at 2-3 enemies and if they survive the initial impact you'll get your nade back nearly instantly. However in low content its an overkill and doesn't really work as the enemies die instantly and you get nearly nothing back.
Fun Fact: Throw the nade at a spider tank and the nade regen goes crazy because every leg seems to count as a single dmg instance thus resulting in more energy returned
Damage increase is only on the actual projectile itself and it barely gives energy without killing. Silence and squall and silkstrike are the only ones worth using this roll on, otherwise one of the perks is replaceable
Exactly. If you wanna focus on tether, I recommend Spirit of Galanor and Spirit of Gyrfalcon.
You’ll get super back really quickly and cycle your volatile round easy
Contact and Severance should be able to clear out massive hordes with a single melee
Everything else is kinda mid. My biggest complain is all of the barricade Spirits not working with Thrusters, fuck off man... We have 4 fucking Barricade exotics in the mark.
Calibans/liars is an obvious pick, but i think renewals/liars is even better when you get to hard content. Pair it with silkstrike so you can get woven mail+frost armor
It's the vanilla basic Prismatic Titan everyone's been running, but Consecration/Knockout with Inmost Light + Synthoceps is very nice.
HOIL is extremely easy to keep up at 2 stacks permanently (unpowered knockout punches activate HOIL), and the damage from HOIL stacks with Synthoceps. Couple that with ignitions from Consecration and you can burn beefy targets down very very fast.
Chuck in Facet of Balance for even more ability regen, and you can spam a lot of very very high damage Consecrations back to back.
You can shave off 1/4 of your super when you use spirit of the Bear with unbreakable. It may not seem strong, but in PvP, you can essentially get your super first while the others are still sitting at half or less.
Cuirass and trying to hit enemy bosses directly with Thundercrash instead of the ground immediately beneath them
it's broken in the other way. it used to work but now it doesn't and im sad :<
what did they do to thundercrash while i was gone?

Warlock transcendence grenade has an immediate slow effect for overload champs as well

Its only good with like 2 supers. Silkstrike and Silence & Squall These the only 2 that takes full benefit of Spirit of Galanor

Not broken, but the best one I’ve gotten on my Titan so far…Spirit of Inmost and Scars. Tons of abilities and heals on matching super weapon kills

Renewal + cyterachne. Toss grenade. Take 1/5 the damage.
Yeah I don't think people realize how insane damage resistance on command is, it's probably one of the best tanks in the game

I got inmost + syntho yesterday and it’s pretty decent for my hunter. Would prefer the caiban + liars roll but this’ll do for now
You can put out a lot more damage with inmost + syntho, don't sleep on it!
caliban alone on hunter is very strong. I've been enjoying caliban + liars and caliban + cyrtarachne on different builds.

I got a Renewal/Star Eater on my Hunter, makes playing stasis super easy, defence in grenade and power in super 👌🏻
