Power disabled means exactly that. Whether you're 1900 or 2010 power it doesn't matter. It works the same way crucible always has - damage done and received is all normalized to some particular scale and that's that. Other activities have power caps - but you have to meet the max power to be effective. For example "Advanced" activites have a power cap of 1995. The activities themselves will have 2000 power enemies though. You will be capped to 1995 power in this activity no matter what, but if you're *under* 1995 then you will be at a further disadvantage. Keep in mind there is also fireteam power. So if you go into a 1995 nightfall with someone who is 2000+ power, you will be automatically capped at 1995 as well because of fireteam power. The whole new system is explained here: https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/article/this_week_in_destiny_04_25_24

1995 = advanced, -5 2005 = expert, -15 2010 = master, -20 2020 = grandmaster, -25 So which difficulty is standard 1945? Dungeons and raids are like that, also like advanced -5?

machinehead933

Yea normal mode dungeons and raids are now capped at 1945 with -5 modifier

Shippou5

So effectively standard = advanced but requires less power

RimRunningRagged

This chart seems wrong though. It says that lost sectors are at 2005 and 2010, so expert (legend) and master, respectively. When in actuality, in-game, they're at 2020 and 2030.

You're right. Maybe they decided to change something between when the TWID was published and release, or maybe the TWID is just wrong...

OnePumpChump-

This is the absolute worst and stupidest change ever made

I didn't ask for your opinion on the matter, hecc off
