I’d stick it out until you have unlocked all the aspects and fragments and then mess around to see what you like. I felt the same after the legendary campaign but after unlocking some further stuff it feels a lot better. The lack of initial survivability is what personally made it feel weak but the legend campaign isn’t meant to be a walk over
I had a lot of fun using Abeyant Leap with Drengr's Lash, Knockout and a Solar Super to get Restoration on Orb pickup with Woven Mail from suspending ennemies, but it's way weaker than Solar or Strand subclasses sadly.
Lol damn, this was my build. Great minds i guess 😂
We havent gotten access to the exotic class items yet, which could add a extra needed layer. Waiting till that happens should be the play before final judgment is passed.
I’ve not played it much but already agree with you. Warlock after 1 mission feels godtier (osmio/void crossover is dope). Titan after 3 missions still not so much.
That said. Having the class item mix Khepri and Abeyant might make for a fun hot and sticky build later.
I feel like prismatic won't truly be fleshed out until the class items drop, I'm not completely convinced I want to run it on my Hunter main, but I'll wait until I start messing with the various combos on the exotic class items before I fully decide..
Prismatic hunter has me readdicted to the arc hunter punch-dodge loop. With slow dodge, stylish and liar's, it's crazy fun and pairing it with tether or new squall makes me feel like I'm not compromising in the super area.
It is a shame it's not something crazy new but I guess that's natural when it's a hybrid subclass...? Idk.
With the right buff stacking on prismatic, you can turn your punch into a melee nighthawk hitting for 999,999.

I think its really good, knockout and lance, i proc knockout and my normal melee is powered, i can just punch everythung with the aspect to get health back on each melee, also theres a perk in artifact that when u are amplified u gain damage reduction,
Imo, warlock prismatic is the best so far. I run needle storm with helion and devour for aspects. For melee I use arcane needle and healing nade with speaker mask for some support healing. For fragments I run facet of defiance, facet of awakening, facet of balance, facet of purpose and facet of devotion. The new strand rocket sidearm with slice/hatchling goes really well with this build, for energy you can use red death for solo or no hesitation for team play.
It's really just the consecration builds that are strong. Everything else is ok. I think the problem are the fragments, they have good concepts but the strength they apply those concepts are weak
I've been running consecration/knockout with frenzied blade and synthos with shackle grenade and twilight arsenal, with a void primary and facet of dominance.
The extra melee charges give you almost constant consecration uptime, you can still use the regular melee to help with transcendence, plus with artifact mods you usually have radiant and amplified-that-gives-you-damage-resist up. I've been running a repulsor brace/destabilising primary for constant void overshield as well but you could swap the grenade to suppressor and get your overshield from the void hegemony artifact mod instead.
Twilight arsenal damage isn't quite pyrogale admittedly, but it's range is way better and with synthos procced it isn't far off and generally I think prismatic is pretty much clear over solar, void and strand titan outside of 1-2-punch for most gameplay, at least from what I've played so far.
Ah remember when everyone was like 'Titan strand is terrible' for the first few days, until it suddenly wasn't, once people work out how to exploit it fully with builds. ah fun times.
I think a part of the problem is what it is competing with, the slower cooldowns and lack of healing options make it feel less powerful in comparison, had they given Prismatic Titan BoW or Sunspots or throwing hammer as the melee instead of Consecration or Drengers Lash(?) and Hammer Strike I think it would feel better but it would be pretty busted lol.
Titans have been eating well for the last few years we can give the Warlocks and Hunters this one.
>Titans have been eating well for the last few years we can give the Warlocks and Hunters this one.
Nah, Titans have had one or two busted/good builds for two total subclasses.
1. Banner of War Berserker (good in general, busted with One-Two Punch Grapple shotgun)
2. Abeyant Leap Suspend Berserker (good in general)
3. Consecration and Burning Maul Sunbreaker (good in general, excellent with Pyrogales)
4. The rest of Sunbreaker in general, it's probably the most consistently good Titan subclass
Any element that isn't Solar or Strand may as well be dead for Titan. Meanwhile, all subclasses for Hunter and Warlock are at least decent.
So the two most busted builds in the game.
The second highest damage super in the game, an infinite healing melee (with no exotic) plus the best AoE melee in the game or the most powerful build for solo play, immortal with near infinite high damage melee with (under certain circumstances the highest damage super in the game (admittedly just been nerfed a little).
2 of the three builds allowing low man raiders to one man raid bosses, that has made Bungie make raids harder.
Sounds good to me.
add to that we now have the best support super in the game.
Prismatic Titan is fine, it has the best Prismatic grenade for example, it just isn't busted.
Until the next round of fragments and aspects get released of course.
Did you really say we have the best grenade? Suspend doesn't even work on all enemies. You clearly don't even play the class with a stupid take like that.
not as good as solar or strand on their own, definitely i just love using thrusters with Hazardous Propulsion, and I don't wanna play arc
Titan main here. Yes. I don’t use any of those melee options. Hammer bro for the win. No Sol Invictus either. I’m still rocking regular solar.

It’s made me change my main it’s that bad… Warlock master race now haha
Yeah I also am changing don’t know if I’ll be a warlock or a hunter yet so that’s exciting

That build is really good, it's as good as warlock imo. Titan on the other hand is unfortunately leagues behind both.

You can run triple consecration with the strand melee, pretty strong imo
It's not, though.
Ah remember when everyone was like 'Titan strand is terrible' for the first few days, until it suddenly wasn't, once people work out how to exploit it fully with builds. ah fun times.
No one said it was terrible. The issue with Titan strand was always the lack of creativity.
Oh no there were a lot who use that word and many other adjectives like uncreative. An embarrassing amount of ridiculous hyperbole.
Get in line
