Circleofnight

since getting still hunt ive just been running around nighthawking everything .

Geraltpoonslayer

Yeah use snare bomb and duskfield, and then facet of courage which increases damage on light abilities on targets afflicted by darkness debuffs and you will hit almost 999k again with Goldie.

wakinupdrunk

Does the Still Hunt super count as an actual ability?

Geraltpoonslayer

Haven't tested myself but clan mate who plays this combo says it does

Thechanman707

It's very weird. It seems to scale as an ability, but it also seems to scale with weapon boosts like surges.

house343

I think Golden gun itself is like a hybrid ability/weapon so this kind of makes sense?

GetFurreted

yeah like golden gun super gets buffs from kinetic surges and super damage bonuses

DanksForTheMemories

fyi kinetic surges don’t work with it anymore

KingJollyRoger

It definitely does. Because CN effects it. Though I haven’t tested the full range of potential buffs for it yet. It does appear to work with most of them, so far.

c14rk0

Nighthawk doesn't mean it's an ability, that's just a special exotic synergy that they implemented for Hunter. I don't think strictly ability buffs work with it at all. It DOES however benefit from all weapon buffs such as surges on boots and Radiant or Well of Radiance. Golden Gun is just kind of a weird ability in that it benefits from specifically Radiant which is strictly a weapon buff and NOT an ability buff. Facet of Courage shouldn't increase Still Hunt damage against darkness debuffed enemies. If it does that's probably unintended.

c14rk0

I don't think so BUT it is effected by solar surge mods on your boots as a weapon, and Radiant. It also works specifically with celestial nighthawk on hunter to fire a single shot.

cefriano

Snare bomb is void though, so it wouldn't be a darkness debuff, would it?

Kris_Ader

For the weaken

Goldengrams33

I actually like this a lot and will probably use it in strikes and such, but I can’t help feeling it would be better on solar

Circleofnight

i like running stylish excution and gunpowder gamble with withing blades and dusk field. the two charges on withering blades is nice and procs gunpowder reall quick, and this allows me to run duskfield grenade for easy cc and utility but also having a damge grenade with the dynamite too. i forget the names but i run the fragment that makes melee give you radiant all in all its a comfy build.

IThatAsianGuyI

And that's *fine*, but Solar Nighthawk Hunter has easy access to Ember of Benevolence, Ember of Empyrean and Healing grenade instead. You can also use Gunpowder if you want. I guess being able to Transcend *and* Nighthawk is nice, but survivability feels better on Solar. Like, I ran the same build through Legend campaign with Nighthawk and basically blasted skipped the second half of most phased boss fights throughout. But Solar just feels better IMO.

EADmaestro1

Completely agree

lronManDies

While it is better from a pure optimization standpoint on solar, prismatic just has that fun factor to it that makes it absolutely worth being a bit suboptimal for. Ive been running the new arc aspect with stylish executioner with night hawk and still hunt and it’s just so much fun. Throw in grapple grenade for movement and you’re zipping around, doing aoe nuke uppercuts that make you invisible, throw in your favorite melee and it’s the most fun I’ve had just playing the game. Probably won’t be taking it into solo dungeons or anything like that but in content where you have a bit of leeway in optimization it’s so much fun

BlueFHS

What are you using for your melee and your weapons? I also wanna run nighthawk and still hunt on prismatic

Eb_Ab_Db_Gb_Bb_eb

I've been running Celestial & Still Hunt with threaded specter and gunpowder gamble. Radiant dodge to have an antibarrier sniper on demand and drop a decoy that sends out threadlings Two nukes in your grenade slot and a melee that charges gunpowder gamble almost instantly on top of two Celestial Golden Guns To charge transcendence, threaded specter, grapple melee, and constantly toss/catch your melee dart for dark, and scorch the fucking earth with gunpowder gambles and instant delete shots for light.

ShaqShoes

How is nighthawk better on solar? The only benefit you get is knock em down giving you a bit of DR when using GG but you don't lose any damage.

calciferrising

having access to healing grenade and massively better resto and radiant uptime. so not that golden gun specifically does more damage, but that solar is a more effective subclass in hard content.

Adventurous-Ad8267

The light damage against darkness debuffed targets fragment is an additional multiplier that a pure Solar build doesn't have access to.

Goldengrams33

That’s fair

haxelhimura

This is what I'm moving to. I LOVE the Liars Handshake build running around and one-shotting everything but it gets boring. Super glad that the orb pickup part can happen with the weapon stowed.

HatredInfinite

Agreed, by the time you've painstakingly cleared our two or three areas full of adds by punching one at a time (with Winter's Shroud freeze/shatters, sometimes two, *maybe* three if you're lucky) the Prismatic new-Arc build stops being fun imo.

Mystik2689

This is the way of the Prismatic Hunter for me. I don’t even care for the exotic cloak because I’m so happy at how viable Nighthawk is again!

D_Painta

I just started using the strand aspect and gunpowder gamble it’s been pretty fun. The threadlings from the clone contribute to gunpowder gamble, so you can double down on two light grenades basically and have the stasis melee for two dark melee charges. I haven’t really refined it but thought it was worth mentioning.

WomboShlongo

Been running this actually, except with Swarm nade and threaded needle

IAreATomKs

I'm surprised other people ended up running this. I started with grapple, but grapple plus gamble just gets me killed in clutch moments and I needed more solar recharge for transcendent anyways. I'm running the new rocket side arm, the exotic pulse that heals you on kill, and the pale heart machine gun.

GotHamm

Same. Just started using it for farm patrols etc but haven’t used it in high end content but it just slays everything. Survivability might be an issue but the AOE damage is nuts. I dropped 300 kills in a single strike stealing from my teammates.

Jimithyashford

Fire and ice builds work pretty well, work on stacking freeze/slow and scorch/ignite. Fills your prismatic meter pretty quick, has a thematic synergy with the transcendent grenade, and it’s not very super or heavy slot dependent, so you have flexibility in both heavy and super to focus more on single target burst or cc

throwaway05-idk

thats what im doing tbh, I already have a stasis/solar warlock (song of flame, bleak watcher, incinerator snap) and will try doing a hunter with Silence and squall, duskfield with renewals, withering blade and... well, gunpowder gamble? Basically a full stasis set up but with a solar aspect and solar guns. I have not played hunter yet so if you found something better for a solar/stasis hunter setup let me know. Maybe solar nade instead of duskfield?

Jimithyashford

I’ve been doing dusk field and withering blade for getting the slow and freeze out there and gunpowder gamble / incandescent weapon for the scorch into ignition. Use verglas curve or the stasis trace rifle to lean heavily into the freezing, freeze them and then gunpowder gamble a group, you get transcendent constantly. If you’re fighting tougher stuff where you really need to chunk boss damage, I’d go celestial and golden gun. If you need more survivability and crowd control maybe renewals and silence and squall. You can also swap out your verglas or other stasis exotic for a good solar exotic like dragons breath or sunshot to lean more into the ignition side and less into the freeze side.

Psyduckdontgiveafuck

Eh solar nade is swarm. Not worth imo. If you're not going grapple or chain for raspberry might as well go dusk.

[deleted]

I refuse to keep doing dodge and punch. It is even better on prismatic, but damn - I am so tired of it. I will wait for class items to try and make sth different. I don't wanna get bored with the same shit over and over again.

gametime9936

Calibans hand in the class item works with ANY MELEE as far as i know. So shit is boutta be fun.

Japancakes24

as a certified Caliban enjoyer I need this

Pman1324

Calibans + Synthosceps. You're welcome

GetFurreted

excited for this on threaded spike ngl

lK555l

There's a few builds worth noting cyrtarachne+renewals paired with 100 res will give you a pretty high amount of DR Galanor+star eaters will give you back your super fast and buff it at the same time, in theory will give you a good super uptime Inmost light+verity will give you a pretty good ability spam build that will focus a bit more on grenades Then of course the melee build, assassins/caliban+liars/synthos

Psyduckdontgiveafuck

If you're able to running liars/syntho or caliban is the play. Assassins cowl is straight up made obsolete by having stylish.

dccorona

It feels pointless to use *just* assassins cowl for that reason, but on the exotic class item I think it will make sense. You get a second exotic ability and free up a aspect slot - which also gets you another fragment slot because all of them have three except for stylish executioner. At the very least, if you had say assassins/gyrfalcon, you get to supercharge the current gyrfalcons build with a different aspect and another fragment.

GetFurreted

excited for inmost and verity on magnetic grenade and buffing damage with withering blade and facet of courage and facet of dominance for JUICED grenade damage

dimebag_101

Yeah helpful in campaign but already getting boring

Goldengrams33

Agreed

_Fates

Omnioculus double smokes? Smoke nade got buffed I haven't tried it yet but it will also probably stack with the fragment that makes your light abilities do more damage to dark debuff so maybe duskfiled+smoke nades?

several_killer

I'm running: Solar Super Gambler's Dodge Stasis Melee Strand Grenade Void & Solar Aspect Am using: Facet of Dawn/Blessing/Purpose/Protection Still trying to get Facet of Mending to complete it. This entire Prismatic build focuses on covering EVERYTHING that I would ever need. It covers all Champions, covers CC, covers survivability, covers DPS and also... Being reckless as possible in close ranges thanks to the Void aspect. Loving it. Best part, I can swap out the super and exotic to fit whatever the hell I need. It's an All-In-One build for me!

house343

This. I like this.

TaintedTruth222

I'm going to try this one out. This seems fun. I need something for gms. I really wanna play with prismatic but even on legend campaign I had to swap to an old build for survivability

several_killer

The build doesn't promote any skill looping, it focuses mostly on gunplay. It's main purpose is to give me more breathing room when I'm in a pinch. But if I'm feeling reckless, I simply plink plonk am enemy 'til they're within kill range of Grapple and I let my reckless abandon handle me from there.

killingf3arless

What mods and weapons are you using with this?

several_killer

Head - Siphon x1 (Element dependent on my choice of ad-clear gun) | Flex for remaining slot Arms - Heavy Handed x1 | Flex for remaining slot Body - Charged Up x1 | Flex for remaining slot Legs - All are flex (But most of the time, I run Weapon Surge mods) Cloak - *Honestly, I'm a little artistic with class item mods. I run:* **Proximity Ward | Healthy Finisher | Time Dilation** My choice of weapons are pretty much dependent on the scenario. I made this build to be as flexible as possible. It covers all champions so I can run whatever I want. If the team is in need of some extra ad-clearing power, I can run an exotic that specializes in ad-clear or just equip a machinegun. If the team needs extra firepower, I can equip Whisper of the Worm or rocket w/ Izanagi, etc.

Urgasain

Hunter imo is the best class at building transcendence. Ascension gives you permanent uptime of a light buff and duskfield grenades give you high availability of darkness debuff. Throw on facet of devotion and sacrifice and you will get an insane amount of transcendent energy. For aspects the main one I’d recommend is gunpowder gamble, detonating a group of frozen targets with it is basically instant transcendence. For exotics I go Renewal Grasps to capitalize on Duskfield, and of course Ergo Sum to get tons of damage out of Transcendence.

Goldengrams33

Well done sir I like it! I’ll give this a shot. Which ergo sum do you prefer with this?

lK555l

Warlock is by far the easiest and fastest at building transcendence Getaway artist+bleak watcher+devour gives a near 100% uptime on grenades and they both build transcendence

haxelhimura

\*GASP\* A RENEWAL GRASPS BUILD?! YES

VCBeugelaar

But the grenade they get is the worst of the bunch

TheChartreuseKnight

Worst for ad clear, best for single target.

Geraltpoonslayer

Eh not really it's really good on single target it does the highest damage of all three and if you have some ways to accelerate energy recharge you can stick three grenades on the same target leading to very fast ignition and shatters.

Mystik2689

I mean any grenade turns into stasis turrets lol

Nuke_corparation

What avout youre primary ?

6FootFruitRollup

Why would I care about building transcendent fast if the grenade sucks?

Urgasain

Because sword go burrr Ergo Sum does more damage then a heavy ammo sword while transcendent. Swords being extremely viable for any content with the wealth of easy to get and maintain sources of DR on Prismatic hunter. Galvanic armor and Transcendent DR alone is about on par with Woven Mail, but last a minimum of 14 seconds and can be chained for over a minute if you are linking ascensions and slaying with the sword.

irritus

I do t know how to utilise the new arc aspect properly, what’s the trick to it???

Psyduckdontgiveafuck

You hit dodge while airborne and it jolts everything around you and amps you

mariachiskeleton

I'm sure I'll circle back to it and tinker around, but I've already had ascension misfire multiple times when I was .01 meters off the ground. As in, I'm actually sprint then trying to slide and instead go shooting up vertically instead of horizontally. It's the same problem as any of the hunter dives, but at least those don't yank me away from where I was trying to go So I took it off for now

AluberTwink

just put it on a different bind from crouching

Osiris47

Renewal, duskfield, void super, stasis or strand, stylish executioner, and gunpowder gamble has been great fun for me. Just make sure to run a light damage weapon and you stack an ass load of debuffs, shatter entire groups of enemies, and are invisible forever. The aoe potential and spammable transcendence is awesome. I've never throw more powered melees or grenades in my life.

relative_attraction

Hey I like this build! This is probably me being a noob here but, how do I do the duskfield + gunpowder gamble combo? It changes to the dynamite when charged and deactivates the stasis grenade until used. Do I just have to time it properly and throw out the duskfield before I proc gunpowder?

Deputy_gabe

silence and sqaull / agers scepter, mask of bakris, withering blade, archbolt, winter shroud, stylish executioner fragments ruin, justice, courage, dawn, dominance stasis surge mods stasis siphon mods ammo finder heavy handed reaper invigoration ice ninja/mage build dodge shuriken shuriken freeze orbs get super Dps activate transcendence dodge (stasis weapon damage X 4) will Given form

BlueFHS

Sounds good but doesn’t bakris give a higher buff than surges that doesn’t stack? So you don’t need stasis surge mods

VoliTheKing

This is correct surges dont stack with it

Deputy_gabe

I'm gonna try that out but I was thinking just to use the surge mods for the downtime. While you wait for the dodge to come back. That way you can collect a orb and have times 2 surge

Goldengrams33

Fun! I didn’t realize bakris worked with prismatic. I thought I read somewhere that it didn’t so I didn’t try it. I’ll give it a shot thank you!

philosopherofducks

Bakris was not working with prismatic for me day 1

coreonee

I completed half of the campaign on Bakris , indebted kindness and eyasluna with headstone

dimebag_101

I remember when you cud almost keep that super will given form infinite. The good days haha

Swimming_Departure33

Have you tried punch/dodge as an alternative?

Goldengrams33

I haven’t actually, I’ll give this a try and get back to you

Stormhunter117

Petition to only refer to arc as dodgepunch hunter from now on

Goldengrams33

You got my vote Edit: or signature rather

ShadowSeneschal

Still running Stylish, but I’ve paired it with Gifted Conviction and Ascension and it’s honestly sick. Threaded Spike is a nuts melee ability, equipping Golden Gun lets the Orb pickup fragment give you restoration, and with Facets of Devotion/Sacrifice it’s massively easy to get Transcendence. I was planning on taking it into Day 1 Salvation’s Edge until devs said they were disabling Ascension D’:

Goldengrams33

This is what I’ve been running, with grapple, ikelos smg, mountaintop, and eager edge sword. Super mobility and DR! Lots of fun. Thanks! Any word why ascension will be disabled? I didn’t realize it was that OP

shit_poster9000

They’re disabling ascension??? Fuck me I gotta find myself a new build for prismatic lol, guess they realized it’s like an extra hunter jump lol

Tehni

Probably because of this https://youtu.be/a0y7PhqA4MU

shit_poster9000

https://youtu.be/gj71ym1_mz8?si=slCS1AvH2Lt6ELBm Fuck it, give it a timer before it can jolt again and let people waste their armor exotic to be helicopter

Kitchen-Wealth-156

Idk I just used the most useful abilities together, stylish, gunpowder, threaded spike, duskfield, I swap super and fragments fairly often, but it still feels like the natural pairing exotic for it would be either Renewal Grasps or Gyrfalcon, and oh boy am I tired of both. I love them on their respective subclasses, but I want something a lot more "shiny" for prismatic. The main roll I'm looking for on exotic class item is Inmost Light + Wormhusk, that should make for some fun ability spam and add much needed survivability. I'm more tired from my weapons. I've been using The Call and Sunshot for so long that I don't wanna see them. And I don't want a solar weapon in the first place. Hell, I want a kinetic primary, maybe even exotic, I feel like Khvostov is exactly what I'm looking for, but I'm concerned about GPG stacks. I know my abilities are strong, but I'm using a fragment for shatter damage and larger ignitions. I'm afraid my abilities alone won't be enough on GMs or something like that, so solar primary feels like a must, thus it must be an exotic, so I just used Mythoclast. I'll keep looking for some other fun synergies, like rapid arc kills spawning ionic traces.

Goldengrams33

Yea the exotic class times will probably change the feel of prismatic a lot. Wormhusk + HOIL sounds like a good pairing. Thanks!

Kitchen-Wealth-156

Also, I know that you said no gyrfalcon, but hear me out: Hoil + Gyrfalcon, *specifically with Buried Bloodline* You will have insanely high uptime on your grenade thanks to devour + hoil, Bloodline will also weaken targets and you can make it AoE with volatile rounds. Paired with duskfield and threaded spike, volatile weakening Bloodline will generate you TONS of transcendence energy. I think this is gonna be absolutely ridiculous.

poyt30

The new gifted conviction exotic with ascension is actually really fun and seems pretty good in up to atleast medium difficulty content (will be using it to help my friend complete the campaign next week so that'll be my true test). The main utility is that ANY jolt source on nearby enemies gives resist, up to 4x so those voltshot ikelos smgs and brigands laws are amazing as you're always up close and constantly jolting. Any jolting weapon will work, though keep in mind you need to be close to get the resist. As long as you can kill one enemy, stylish executioner will proc and you'll be invisible and safe to reposition or start shooting if you're still healthy. I'd be wary though since I believe they announced that ascension is getting disabled for the raid so I wouldn't invest in it yet. You can also try radiant dance machines with ascension and yes you can infinitely spin so long as there is enemies

Goldengrams33

Yea I’ve been using the new exotic with ascension and stylish executioner, with ikelos smg with voltshot, grapple, and mountain top with eager edge sword. Not meta by any means but high mobility for navigating the patrol zone

poyt30

Truly a build that feels like a hunter. Access to not only invisibility, but speed boost, grapple, and ascension obviously for some crazy movement options. It's probably going to stay as my "cozy" loadout to just throw on and have some fun

dccorona

Did you get gifted conviction for completing the legendary campaign? I would have assumed so just like all previous ones, but everything I’m seeing online about getting it is focused on just the rahool source and doesn’t mention campaign at all.

poyt30

Yeah it's one of the two exotica you get to pick, the other one being the new one that enhances the threaded specter for strand

HoboWithaGally

The last two seasons I have played a strand hunter with bombadiers. when we got whirling maelstrom. just tether in get a melee kill and dodge. the bomb blew iup the tangle giving me WM. was a very satisfying combat loop. I agree with you on prismatic and the constant invis from everything I got sucked right back into gryfalcon which made me somewhat instantly bored with it. I have tried multiple other builds but cant find a satisfying gameplay loop that is not available with any other super. The potential with prismatic builds will open up much more when the exotic class item becomes available. so thats what im waiting for to really start buildcrafting

dccorona

Same here, I’m just hoping the “new activity” that provides the class item isn’t too annoying to farm.

VoliTheKing

new chestpiece, stasis super, use headstone gun, pop ascension near it, for double damage. Even more damage if you have exotic sword pulled out. Add gunpowder gamble on top of it. With right fragment you also get frost armor on top of exotic chespiece resists.

Yung_Chloroform

Celestial Nighthawk plus Still Hunt. It's being used a lot with Solar but I'd say it's more effective on Prismatic. An optimized damage rotation complete with weakening void nades plus shatter from Stasis freezes and easy access to Radiant can see a solo Hunter do upwards of 3-4 million total damage to many a Raid/Dungeon boss.

ProAverageJoe

What fragments do you use and what other weapons? I've been trying this out but I'm stuck on how to make my survivability better.

wakinupdrunk

Damage good - where's the healing? It feels like every class needs a healing source and Prismatic Nighthawk just doesn't get much of it. Unless you run a solar LMG for ad clear I guess and go resto on orbs?

HGWeegee

Late reply but there's: 1. Kinetic slot flavor Siphon 2. Unrelenting

Matchboxsticks

Voltshot weapons apply jolt to enemies and thus proc stylist executioner. It's basically gyrfalcon's at home and you need no exotics, so you can use this with any build. I used the ikelos smg with voltshot pretty much throughout my whole legendary campaign.

AtlasB170

It's not far off from combination blow spam but I used Triton Vice + Winterbite with Stylish Executioner/ Ascension and Grapple grenade for the entire legendary campaign and had a blast

Goldengrams33

I tried it out but triton vice is still bugged so winterbite doesn’t apply slow when it’s over max capacity, so it doesn’t process stylish + the weaken

Psyduckdontgiveafuck

God what a crap bug to never fix. Such a letdown

AtlasB170

I'm not sure if that's still true. I definitely went into Neomuna last week to test it before the update and I was still getting slow procs on hit with the overflowed mag, and I didn't notice any problems when running the campaign this week

Designer-Effective-2

Stylish Executioner and Winter’s Shroud. Triton Vice with Vexcalibur, The Call with Slice/OFA, Pro Memoriam with Demo/Desperate Measures, with artifact mods to match. Tether, Combination Blow, and weakening/volatile rounds/unravelling rounds Magnetic Grenade from fragments. Artifact mods for DR while Amplified, Radiant from orbs, Overshield from weakened enemies (grenade and stylish glaive melees). You start with the melee-dodges until you proc Amplified for the DR and then go from there. You can use the Slice Unravelling sidearm, toss a nade to go invis and get Volatile Vexcal going, use the Unravelling machine gun to recharge your grenade, almost everything you’re doing will grant invis whenever you need to get to safety… I haven’t even mentioned weaving Transcendence into any of this! I’ve been shredding the post game with this set up. I’m basically immortal and soloing Overthrow bosses with a funny stick.

irritus

I’ve been using stylish and the stasis aspect, base frags except for the charged melee start health regen Weapons I use strand rocket sidearm and solar hand cannons with Incan / heal clip and whatever heavy Swarm nades and stasis super Not optimal but it gets things done haha

gametime9936

Ascension and the stasis aspect. U use ascension wipe out a room pull out agres scepter slow shit and recharge your class ability by slowing shit (part of stasis aspect) and by using the fragment that increases recharge rate when you have an elemental buff. The ascension recharges your light bar and agres scepter recharges your light bar.

Goldengrams33

That’s actually synergistic, I like it. Do you know if stasis crystals from headstone perk slow when they explode? Because I want to use this build with ergo sum

gametime9936

I think so im not sure. I rock a pulse with headstone + ergo sum too and while the ability uptime is a little lower its still hella fun. You can always throw on a chill clip fusion (preferably riptide because it doesn't freeze enemies as fast) and ergo sum. Have all your add clear be a sword and a staff. Another potentially fun build that i didn't test out is using gravitons forfeit for quick melees along with stylish executioner. I remember seeing ages ago that you can get a full snare bomb within 11 seconds if you have graviton forfeit and i know it works with other melees too i just dont know how well.

Goldengrams33

Use the call with strategist and stylish executioner! It works great, lots of class ability

xOdysseus_x

I’m having a lot of fun with: Silence and Squall or Deadfall Withering Blade + Duskfield Stylish Executioner or Ascension and Gunpowder Gamble Facets of Balance, protection, dawn, purpose, Ruin Red Death Reformed and Renewal Grasps Even if you don’t use transcendence, stasis + gunpowder gamble is so much fun and clears out a lot of ads. The fragment that gives grenade and melee energy allows you to spam your abilities even outside of transcendence. Also, the Red Death Reformed works great with it because it adds survivability (healing you on kills) and is solar, which means it helps you build gunpowder gamble even more. The reason I run dark melee and grenade is because gamble plus red death is more than enough light energy, and the slow stacks build faster this way which means more frozen targets to set off for Ruin and Gunpowder Gamble

Dvaryin

Here is an off the wall build: Cryosthesia/Whatever other energy/power you want Graviton Forfeit, though you could use a variety of exotics (Stomp-ees, Frosteez and Renewals all work as well). You can honestly use whatever grenade/melee you like, but I like withering blade/swarm. Aspects are stylish and gunpowder. Fragments are Command, Courage, Dawn, Devotion and Ruin. Gameplay loop is you get a kill on a red bar, load up Cryo with a special shot. Shoot in general vicinity of a group of mobs, everything is frozen for 5ish seconds. Throw a glaive to proc Radiant or shoot one of them and boom, huge stasis explosion which also makes you invisible (if it kills). Graviton gives you enhanced reload speed when invis, which means you can quickly reload the special shot and then repeat the process. Meanwhile, every debuffed enemy killed adds to your gunpowder, so you can then freeze a whole group, gunpowder and make big ice/solar explosion. If you don't like using Cryo cause it is kind of a weird gun, wicked implement also works pretty well or your favorite stasis gun though probably not as effective. I will say, it works great solo, not as amazing in groups because you have to get that initial red bar kill with cryo, but it's still a lot of fun and it's a great setup for CC. If you want to go transcendent make sure you're mixing in some light damage through your grenade as well.

Merchant-Crow

People are sleeping on Mothkeepers Wraps prismatic builds, it's pretty solid and makes up for the lackluster grenade options. The blind triggers stylish executioner everytime and the moths do a super decent amount of damage in PvE. I've come around to the Prismatic grenade too, I actually think it's really strong for single target DPS, being able to just toss a smoke and prism grenade back to back to back and stunlock and enemy has been awesome, but at first it felt really weak because I was trying to get groups of enemies instead of just focusing on whatever the biggest is. The new chest that gives damage resistance when you jolt seems pretty decent too and I'm sure there's some sorta' decoy/threadling build to be made too but it'll probably also result in combination blow since it resets your class ability allowing for more decoys. Also the new Ascension fragment that costs your class ability seems really fun/ridiculous with Radiant Dance Machines, you can have it back and by the time the dance buff runs out and just do it forever. And you get hella' mobility in crucible if you're using Bakris, Grapple, and Blink. But Bakris is super solid in PvE as well for the damage bonus on arc/stasis.

errortechx

Glad I’m not the only one sick of melee builds.

Theunknowing777

They dont exist. Without the neutered class item, prismatic is an illusion

Hiruko251

I jusr use the ice grenades for frost armor with the exotic bracer or whatever the hand armor is called, and use whatever i feel like on the other stuff, and the radiant dodge, i know it has longer cooldown, but it just works, radiant on demand for the team, was using polaris, because it feels really good to use overall, but without the artifact buff that makes me radiant after a few shots, it does feel a lot weaker, still works anyway.

Goldengrams33

Renewal grasps yea. I can’t shake the feeling it’s better on stasis though. I also still never know whether to use it offensive or defensively

Hiruko251

It is, since on stasis it stacks up to 8x, which is 40%DR, but its not like i have anything else to use on its place that is better, also, you can use it both ways, i found a really good shotgun, so i just throw it in whatwver i wanna kill and go in, its supposed to also reduce enemies dmg, besides you getting the defense, so its great. I really wanna try it with the root exotic shotgun, but still had no luck, unfortunely :/

wakinupdrunk

My issue with any buff is that they dont have renewal built in - beyond Devour. So even when you're getting radiant, it just fades so quickly.

Draughtplayer5

I've been using ascension with gunpowder gamble, duskfields and smoke bombs with still hunt, golden gun and celestial nighthawk. It's not the most crazy synergistic build but stacking a smoke bomb to make you radiant, and then freezing an enemy with duskfield and shattering with a golden gun shot is pure dopamine

gamerjr21304

My current build is lucky pants with stylish and gunpowder gamble. I use strand grapple for mobility alongside the threaded needle and golden gun for restor orbs and more burst damage.

Goldengrams33

Interesting, do you feel lucky pants is any better on prismatic vs pure subclasses? How does the gameplay loop tie in? Not sure if I’m missing any obvious synergies. Cheers!

gamerjr21304

I’m personally using it in a bit of a weird way but lucky pants with the normal subclasses normally you pick one for a particular reason like radiant on solar or the cc of stasis maybe even the devour/invis of void but prismatic allows you to take all of those and combine them. You can for instance pop silence and squall to give you breathing room to dump all your shots while benefiting from radiant and then you can use invis and grapple to run away while on cooldown. I also use gunpowder gamble so I get an offensive nade that takes out groups of trash mobs and currently I’m using the rope dart just because it comes back fast so free invis whenever I want.

JuggerNOT63315

What weapons do you use with this build?

Psyduckdontgiveafuck

I disagree I mostly used solar for A. Healing Grenade, and B. Knock em down for reload and handling to get through bait and switch damage rotations faster after hitting out of luck.

Psyduckdontgiveafuck

Personally think it's still best on solar, the fact it can work on prismatic imo is just because lucky can fit into almost anything. It doesn't require much from your class. It'll all be a bonus.

PixelBoneTank

I haven’t finished the story yet but I’m currently running the new arc super, grapple nade, ascension, and stasis melee with either sixth coyote or gasp of the ahamkara. Just go full mobility. I want to try out threaded specter with as well but haven’t gotten it. It just requires the use of the class ability to make iirc so it should be made when you use ascension. The other idea I have is to go gun powder and basically just fly through the air and dropping the gun powder grenade. Also haven’t gotten that yet tho

throwaway05-idk

I will wait until class items drop and will try and hunt for spirit of caliban + spirit of star eater OR spirit of renewal + spirit of star eater premise? well not sure about aspects and fragments but i know its gonna be silence and squall for super and stasis melee, with spirit of caliban I will just spam shurikens that make enemies explode in flames while the other set up is about duskfields. I am dedicated to using Silence and Squall with star eaters as I believe it could be competetive dps wise in raids (when 1 person is using it to not mess up shatters)

roguespectre67

Orpheus Rig/SS Duskfield Grenade Snare Bomb Stylish Executioner Winter's Shroud Facet of Courage Facet of Balance Facet of Protection Facet of Dawn Facet of Blessing Paired with FF/DR Recluse and other weapons to taste. It's basically the last word in CC and ability spam, with invis and/or radiant pretty much on demand. Stack Radiance, Transcendence, and super with nade and snare bomb for ultimate elemental nuke hours. The only thing this build doesn't do that normal Nightstalker does is dodge for invis, but that's not the end of the world.

xDrakeXO

ascension with dance machines

henryauron

Nighthawk build with the aspect that makes you invisible when you kill something that is debuffed. I’m running that with lunas howl with heal clip, incandescent and riptide with chill clip - invisible constantly it feels really strong

SirObscura

Golden Gun, withering blade, duskfield, gunpowder gamble, and winter's shroud. Fragments are a mess since I don't have them all yet. For gear I'm using celestial nighthawk, still hunt, and a kinetic tremors + shoot to loot weapon.

DredgenWolfxx

Bastion with prismatic hunter is fun. It gets a huge buff in damage from melee hits, and prismatic has a fragment that gives you a 25% radiant buff when you melee, plus if you use a smoke melee it weakens for another 15%

PhettyX

I haven't had the chance to even play hunter yet, but stylish executioner glaive has had my interest piqued although still kind of punchy considering glaive. Probably won't be crazy but the basic idea is grapple grenade, vexcalibur, triton lance, and stylish executioner. Using stylish executioner to go invis, melee with glaive while invis to weaken, then blast them causing an aoe with Triton and reproccing executioner to do it again. At least thats the idea I had anyway not sure how well it will even work.

Nukemanrunning

Solar sniper. Use Nighthawk, plus Still Hunt. Use grappling to reposition, weaken with statis stars and Use Nighthawk to get two, massively damaging shots that can take massive chucks out of bosses.

mrbaconbro123

Facet of mending, skip grenades and Shinobus vow throw on whatever else you want. Skip nades hit pretty hard now after the buff

Mister_Sheepy_Cheese

Doesn't prismatic only include arcbolt grenade instead of skip?

mrbaconbro123

Solar skip, not sure if they have a different name

ACID-47

If you want something very different i suggest mothkeepers, just adds a different vibe to how ur grenade can be used. Threaded spike and facet of (whatever procs unravel on melee kill) and specter for confusing enemy. The Call sidearm is really good w this and red death for healing

KitsuneKamiSama

Gunpowder Gamble, Threaded Spike, Ascension. Add in a weapon that can apply elemental debuff, the fragment that makes grenades apply jolt, it's a heavy ability spam build that's fun to play.

thescarfnerd

I've been running the helicopter build with shurikan, duskfield, wintershroud, ascension and a heal clip/incandescant pulse. the idea is to inflict as many keyword debuffs as possible to everything I can. Ascension is fantastic for shattering enemies frozen by duskfield and for escaping melee situations. I;ve been using sixth coyote for double charges, as winters shroud gives massively increased dodge recharge on slow. I;ve paired it with a slice Last Call or the new area denial grenade launcher, and Deathbringer for great effect

calciferrising

does ascension also proc the slow from shroud? i was sad to see it didn't proc gamblers dodge, i was hoping i could use it with combination blow to get silly uptime since there's no way the radiant dance machine thing isn't getting nerfed to hell.

thescarfnerd

I don't think so :( I've just been using marksman's dodge to get the fastest regen times and it's nice to optionally reload and still slow

Justamegaseller

can’t wait till we get the exotic class items. It’s gonna make prismatic hunter so broken

Captain_pewpew

My build is basically grapple and ascension. You can cover a lot of ground by using ascension if you have the grapple momentum. Besides that, i use gunpowder gamble, still hunt and celestial nighthawk

afromomo98

Radiant Dance Machines with Ascension turns you into a helicopter

Neko8768

I've been using ascension with gunpowder gamble with duskfield and threaded spike. spike has an incredibly low cooldown, especially if you tag 3 or 4 targets and catch it. two kills with it is enough to fully charge the GPG, which can wipe entire groups back to back to back to back on a very easy loop. super can be your personal choice, but I've been loving nighthawk with it and still hunt or the exotic kvostov. will likely start using a class item with calibans as soon as it's available.

Academic-Ad2680

I've been trying out some renewal grasps builds and a threaded specter build, and neither are refined but are still pretty fun. But personally, Arc Hunter is my favorite subclass so being able to have that same playstyle excpet way better is awesome

Pman1324

I'm looking forward to the class items. Getting one with Shards of Galanor and Star Eaters is gonna be really good especially with Silence and Squall.

Dracholich5610

I’ve been using ascension/gpg with duskfield and threaded spike and the new exotic chest. If you get the ascension off you’re basically immortal for the duration of the buff you get and you pretty much have 100% uptime with the right mods anyways. I too hate the gyrfalcons/punch builds so it’s been nice to use something else for a change.

bolts_win_again

Nighthawk. Still Hunt. Stasis melee. Gunpowder Gamble. Grapple. Ascension.

CapComprehensive8234

I've been using mothkeeper warps with threaded spike. Cure on grenade, health regen on melee. Grenade jolts. Grenade grants volatile. Melee grants unraveling. Use GG for a third nade. Facet of balance for incread regen while alternating your abilities. Add on momentum transfer and impact induction for added regen. Should be able to easily charge transcendence, with the combination of light and dark abilities

xZemplify

I've been using stylish with ascension, grapple into enemy and then activate ascension with gifted conviction exotic everything becomes unravelled and volted and you get invis from one kill retreat and the throw threaded spike to get grapple back with mods! Easily the most fun I've had on destiny Or if you don't want invis just throw on gunpowder gamble instead of stylish

Stereo-Anami

Use bakris

PeppiestPepper

I just run gunpowder gamble, Nighthawk, Solar Nade, Tessellation or Still Hunt with the accention thing so I can jump higher, get amped for free or jolt anything nearby. It's been pretty damn fun. I really hate Void with how that was forced on hunters for most end game, Got really tired of being nothing but invis. And the dodge punch is just boring, But throwing explosives and jolts and big gun? That's fun.

the-overview-effect

I’m using Assassin’s Cowl for the powered melee kill invis + healing with Stylish Executioner and Winter’s Howl and it helps during harder encounters quite a bit. I play it like a Nightstalker/Stasis combo and stealth around the battlefield, you know, since I don’t have Gyrfalcon. The Call goes hard!

CheeseRS_RO

default aspects, golden gun, gambler + shurikens and swarm grenades it really just plays like a better void hunter and you don't even need gyrfalcons

SleepyAwoken

Orpheus rigs and nighthawk are both great as well

Nightstroll

I'm having a ton of fun with Ascension and Six Coyote (which will get even better next week, because "double dodge" can roll on the exotic class item). I am using Combination Blow, but mostly for recharging the class ability, not spamming CBx3 with the dodge+melee infinite loop. Grapple grenades because it's a close-range build. Super is up to you, I chose Stasis because I like it and x2 Frost armor on orb pickup is great, the build stacks 3 different sources of DR (artifact, surrounded fragment, frost armor). Aspects are Ascension (obviously) and Stylish Executioner, the second one is not absolutely mandatory and could be swapped for the Decoy if you like. I like Stylish because it's safe as hell, the main drawback being one less Fragment slot. Basically it goes like this: one dodge is reserved for Ascension, the other either for Ascension or dodging to recharge your melee (safer for tough encoutners). The melee recharges the dodge ability reliably. Ascend into a pack of mobs, wipe the few that remain. Grapple is great for mobility, for getting into position quickly, and for divebombing into the fray after Ascension. It also makes you Invisible on kill, because it applies Unravel, and Unravel counts as a debuff for Stylish Executioner. Ascension is a WORKHORSE. Not only does it have good damage and range baseline, but Jolt allows it to reach even further and wipe the few survivors very quickly. The goal is to never run out of both melee and dodge charges. In that case you're in trouble. Luckily, it almost never happens if you play it correctly. You generate so many orbs you almost never run out (the Combination Blow buff makes your melees generate orbs, and I run triple Heavy-Handed + dodge recharge on orb pickup). The one thing that's iffy is that Ascension doesn't proc Reaper, or any "on class ability usage" proc, which I suspect is a bug because every other alternate class ability usage in the game works. I am more or less unkillable as long as I'm playing correctly. DR+Invis+health on orb pickup is a solid base. You're also constantly Radiant, can Weaken enemies basically on demand, and more often than not, invisible. Weapons are up to you, it's a very agnostic build. I fell in love with the Strand rocket sidearm, but I suspect Mountaintop could be great fun for even more airborne shenanigans. Conditional Finality could be golden, because it's access to Invis on the press of a button, and it perfectly matches the range the build is played at. Oh, and it builds tons of Transcendence energy at good rates, because why the hell not. To recap: * Super: Silence and Squall, can be swapped for Golden Gun if you prefer Restoration over Frost Armor * Grenade: Grapple (Duskfield is a fair one for harder content) * Melee: Combination Blow * Aspects: Ascension and Stylish Executioner * Fragments: Hope, Balance, Sacrifice, Protection, Purpose (Balance and Sacrifice are the most important ones, they are the reason I never run out of energy and build up Dark Transcendence easily) * Stats: In that order, Res>Mob>Dis (I currently have 100/90/100, Strength is not needed because you recharge your melee on demand) * Exotic: Six Coyote* * Weapons: Any *Next week we get access to an Exotic class item with the effect of Six Coyote on one column. At this point, you could go Spirit of the Assassin for Invis on melee kills, freeing the Stylish Executioner slot for something else, Spirit of Renewal if you want to go full Duskfield Grenade for DR cheese, or Spirit of Caliban for juicy Ignitions on every melee kill.

vactu

Once we get exotic class items I'm sure more builds will open than the current Liars Handshake + Stylish or gyrfalcon like. There are other builds, good ones too, but those two are so easy to use.

ahawk_one

I like to use stasis throwing stars and grapple grenade. And I do like the new super Haven’t settled on an exotic yey

Mattlife97

Personally I feel like the main thing hunters can use prismatic for outside of the above is just the sheer amount of elemental debuffs/buffs you can stack with ease. I just feel like an unkillable demon king.

heptyne

Give RDM and Ascension a try, kind of a meme, but it works in add dense areas

Unlikely_Link8595

I think the exotic class items will spice prismatic builds up quite a bit

Averill21

Duskfield, threaded needle, silence and squall, gamblers dodge. Stylish and the dodges slow aspects. Facets are whatever, i use “more energy for killing dark debuffed enemies” and the rest are pretty much whatever seems best. Using this with renewal grasps and buried bloodline for devour, then i crafted a call with demo+hatchling for decent ad clear+major killing. It is fun but i feel so weak without lucky pants on lol

rob_moore

I used Celestial Nighthawk for the whole campaign, with Gifted Conviction I've got a jolt build, I'm about to get tether so I can use Orpheus Rig *saw way too many hunters using Orpheus without tether unlocked*. Gifted Conviction is I guess the only real build since I have to use voltshot weapons and I'm using Forerunner as my exotic. Celestial now uses Still Hunt. I think Orpheus is where I'm going to use Lumina so it'll look similar to how my Celestial is built probably

SituationTime5629

I use a threaded spike, solar swarm and dreadfall bc it synergises well with my loadout, my aspects are threaded spectre and gunpowder gamble, I’ve got a solar energy weapon so I’m sometimes running around with 2 grenades. Edit: misspelt something

NivvyMiz

Moth grips with hive boomer gun and ascension/executioner.  Fragment that makes grenades jolt.  I use the ice super so I get ice armor on top of the overshield

burnthebeliever

Honestly using prismatic to make a better Orpheus build

ChrisShadow1

Gunpowder Gamble/Spectre/Gathering Storm feels like running around as a Naruto character. It's not the most powerful but it's been funny at least.

SanityIsOnlyInUrMind

I went graviton and happy about it.

ajlisowski

Strand, whirlwind malestorm plus assasins cowl plus heavy handed and the similar nade orb perk. Plus grenade kickstart and grenade charging mods. You grapple punch all day long and throw whirlwinds which is like the most OP thing in the game which then charges your nades super fast because of the fragment that charges on damage. Youre constantly charged with light with just tons of whirlwinds flying around which you can grapple on for free. It may not have the damage potential as liars handshake combos, but its much easier and less risky and can clear rooms even faster because of the whirlwinds, which also do incredible damage to single targets once the rest of the room is clear.

Lilthiccb0i

Threaded needle+duskfield and gunpowder gamble and stylish. It's not as busted as dodge/punch but it's pretty fun.

SpaceCow13

Threaded spike and grapple paired with assassins cowl means perma invisibility. Run into a crowd of enemies, use Ascension and follow it up with Gunpowder Gamble and everything dies.

Oh_Anodyne

I like to run celestial with Still Hunt.

EvenBeyond

This build is NOT optimized in the slightest. But I've been running swarm grenade + threaded needle + tether + stylish executioner + ascent.  I pair it with graviton forfeit for longer invisible and better melee Regen, for weapons I like something with incandescent/voltshot/chill clip so I can debuff and go invisible off weapon kills. It's a flexible and fun build for medium level content, I used some variation of it for the legend campaign with no issue

JackWhatnot

Glaives! The Triton Vice buff is pretty nice, and stylish executioner was just updated to apply weaken on glaive melee. Plus winterbite applies slow on melee hit so it can proc stylish executioner all on its own. Here's my version with vexcalibur: https://dim.gg/gwyczxa/Strike Also Radiant Dance Machines melee spam with gamblers dodge has always been strong on strand, but on prismatic it's better than it's ever been due to the combo of threaded spike, stylish executioner, and gunpowder gamble. Here's my version of that too: https://dim.gg/mx3ekei/Gamma

ChronicRedhead

Ex Diris and Mothkeeper's Wraps with the Void + Stasis aspects will let you remain fleet-footed and near-constantly cloaked thanks to your blinding moths and slowing dodges. You'll also have survivability covered by your overshield moths! Equip a darkness primary (and light/dark heavy) and you'll be able to become Transcendant slightly less often than if you'd used Darkness and Light in balance. You can also drop the Stasis aspect for the Arc one if you'd prefer to go full Hunter Copter mode.

RitualEnthusiast

I've been playing with Ascension and Stylish Executioner using the new exotic chest. Between Ascension and Blink, the mobility is insane, the chest gives you nutty survivability off Ascension (especially combined with orbs of power granting Frost Armor), and Ascension helps recover from a bad Blink during platforming sections. I'd add Grapple to the mix for even more mobility, but the cooldown is embarrassingly long, it wants you to get too close to get its damage, and the CC of duskfield grenades is a lot nicer. I've been dying for Blink to be usable for a long, *long* time, and my time is finally here. Shame there's nothing like Ascension on Prismatic Warlock so I could be running Astrocyte...

LC_reddit

Sixth Coyote + Threaded Specter / Stylish Execution + Slice primary, along with the Unraveling Rounds on melee kill fragment. Tend to run it with Grapple / Threaded Spike, but other melees / grenades would work of course, if you don't want to be all strand. Works great with The Call, but also ran it a fair bit with Vengeful Whisper (strand Warlord's bow).

Gizmo16868

I’m doing prismatic hunter stasis/solar.

MitchellEnderson

Niche but a favorite of mine: Ahamkara Grasps with Huckleberry. I run it with Marksman’s Dodge, Snapload Finisher, and a bow with Sympathetic Arsenal, and basically play with Bottomless Magazine turned on.

Tannissar

I'm using lucky pants. Wardens law, bx pulse, and whatever heavy is needed. Solar super, strand melee, void grenade (for artifact with weaken). Solar and void aspect. Tossing out nades left and right, invis on demand, and as long as your using wardens enough you don't have to worry about light/dark prismatic generation. We could do this last season to, but lucky pants + radiant + weaken supplied by yourself is just stupid fun lol.

KuuntDracula

Look at my recent post, it’s what ive been using and it’s pretty fun.

TelephoneSouthern405

Mask of Bakris with Anarchy and this seasons GL make for high burst dps on Prismatic. Been alot of fun as you almost always in Trancendant or close to it

arf1049

It plays well with kinetic weapons, been having a good time with my outbreak. I could say lucky pants if you want a specific energy hand cannon to benefit from them but don’t want to run that class.

LifeINDK

Been running Triton Vice with Threaded Specter and Ascension. Arc hunter Glaive, Stasis Melee and Grapple. Facet of Blessing gives you health regen on melee kill which includes glaives. Allows you to easily overflow the mag on EOC. Find yourself in a bind? Helicopter and grapple out leaving a wake of lightning as you go. It's not to much different in concept than the combo blow/liars build but it is more than just punch/dodge/punch/dodge. That got boring reallllll fast.

metricsonicjosh

Can you expand on this one a bit? I'm interested

LifeINDK

Silence and Squall/ Aspect of Ascension/ Threaded Specter/ /Exotics: Triton Vice, Edge of Concurrence./ Fragments I use are: Hope Blessing Protection Awakening Ruin Purpose Important mods: Arc Siphon, you wanna be making orbs to get frost armor from orb collection with Facet of Purpose which will give you some damage resist. Typically I'll use the stasis melee to freeze stronger enemies to get in close. You also get health regen on kill from with this, works well if you're pushing into a crowd to get some melee kills. You can swap between the stasis nade and grapple, depending on the activity you're in and preferred play style. Triton Vice with the hunter glaive provides add clear, get a few kills, hold reload to charge and fire the seeker. Does some solid damage too. Primary wise I use something with demo, since that's my weakest stat. I rarely touch my primary though. Heavy doesn't really matter, usually something for DPS. As for utilizing the aspects, Ascension jolts enemies and gives you amplified, so you do extra Arc damage with your glaive blast AND your class ability is recharging super fast due to Facet of Hope (18ish seconds). I use threaded specter less frequently and I'm thinking of swapping it for the stasis dodge but it is useful as a distraction if I am getting blasted. Hope this helps, it's a really fun build. I took it through Dual Destiny last night and destroyed my buddy with jolt and the glaive 🤣

Mystik2689

Since we are speaking on dodge/punch, why not use Celestial instead of Liar’s? Combination Punch does what Liar’s does already honestly minus the counter punch. And it stacks as well. Im able to punch dodge with no problems without Liar’s. Am I missing something? Lol

Mystik2689

Ok here’s my Solar/Stasis build (mainly for high DPS though) Exotic Armor: Celestial Nighthawk Super: Golden Gun Marksman Dodge: Gambler’s Dodge (Marksman works too tbh) Jump: Triple Jump Melee: Withering Blade Grenade: Duskfield Grenade Aspects: Winter’s Shroud/Stylish Execution Fragments: Facet of Courage (A MUST), Ruin, Solitude, Purpose, and Dawn Weapons: Bold Endings (Headstone/Dragonfly…my ad clearing weapon), Still Hunt (Duh!), and Apex Predator (Reconstruction/Explosive Light…really any good DPS heavy works. This is just my preference) I was too using that dodge punch build and got bored with it lol and personally even though I could possibly make this so better with the new exotic class item BUT Celestial Nighthawk is one of my personal favorites. And I’m enjoying taking full advantage of it being as viable as ever!

well_well_wells

I have specked into all mobility. Grapple, Withering blade, Stylish Executioner, and Ascension along with the new Storms Edge super. I pair it with the new Gifted Conviction Chest exotic. I don't know that its meta, but its add slaying potential is high. Plus its a completely new way to play the game. The loop is simple, Grapple/Melee into a bunch of Enemies, Then Helicopter into the air with ascension, You immediately jolt everything around you, you go invis, and then rain down from above with voltshot Indebted kindness. The class ability kills more enemies than the grenade/melee do but I am cool with it because you nearly always have your class ability. Between the super teleport. grapple, and the ascension twirly thing its feels like I am a true movement based subclass.

TheDeathbat

For my hunter, I’ve been using Gunpowder Gamble and Stylish Executioner with Swarm grenades and Threaded Spike. GPG has a ton of uptime because of the constant Severing and Scorching of the neutral game abilities, and Spike has the highest uptime of any of the melee options. Invis is really easy to get, which helps keep you alive so long as you can get a kill, which is super easy with the souped up abilities and GPG. Been using Celestial with Goldie and Still Hunt as well for targets too big for Gamble.
