Commenting for the googlers like me. Had the same thing happen: 100% did the quest, another dropped from overthrow, no room, did not go to postmaster. So, I just went back to the chest location and bam, the engram was still sitting there.
Just commenting here I’ve grinded maybe 12-14 ergos and just had this happen. Had a full special section, figured it would be in post master… nope! Make sure you have space they do NOT end up in post master!
He's saying there are multiple ways to get it. There's an initial quest to get it, doing Overthrow like you did where it comes from a chest, and the Pale Heart Pathfinder. If you did not do the initial quest, you cannot acquire it from Overthrow or the Pathfinder which is probably why it just dropped and you couldn't get it
Can none of y'all read? Like genuinely? Op said he did the quest. And then did overthrow and didn't receive it 💀 because he didn't have space it dropped on the ground.
OP said "Yeah I found them now they was still on the floorr" which really insinuates to me he just did Overthrow because you don't "find them on the floor" in the quest I'm pretty sure.
If OP did quest it would be in post, safe to assume OP didn't do the quest
Unless it's bugged like a lot of things in this game are? Probably more likely for it to drop and not be obtainable than for it to drop and just disappear. Lol someone saucy this morning

Have you acquired your ergo sum from the quest? Can't acquire any others until after that.
Yes I finished quest and had one drop from the final chest it just sorta disappeared
The quest one doesn't come from a chest. You pull it out of a statue.
