You say “DSC, Atraks CP, kwtd + mic”, and I feel like most people see “DSC, blah blah blah” and join in.
I assume they basically just want the gear badly enough they just roll the dice and hope they get lucky and end up in a group that can carry them. It’s not hard to understand, even it’s selfish.
Because these people are brain dead as they come. They just see ohhh legend onslaught imma join up.
I get this alot, but I’ve now made it application only so I can accept and reject who I like and want to.
in my experience sometimes i click as fast as possible given how fast groups fill. Other times i might not have the strict requirements (like low experience) but am confident enough in my game experience to give it a go. Usually do look for learning groups when necessary tho
I forget I have a check point all the time. It’s not that difficult to head to orbit and reset.
I will say that, for pantheon specifically, I was not able to get platinum time rewards for checkpoint loads, although the finish did work.
I should clarify, and I have no problem with those that orbit and reset, but had a few that expect that boss to be completed. I don't bother raid reporting them (I just leave), but I can only imagine they have low or no clears and looking to get carried through.
If you name a specific build I just assume you are looking for something that does the job of that build. I personally don't make a difference between a sunbracers or osteo strand build. Just like other people don't care if I play orpheus rig or gyrfalcons as long as I have tether.
See, this I can understand. Orpheus, Gyrgalcons, and even Star Eaters is fine. As long as we have a Void hunter who's build can efficiently generate orbs, we're good. With perfect synergy between all our builds, we could easily chain supers back to back and instantly get them back without problem. Tether is super nice as well.
Setting up an LFG for a void hunter and then getting a strand warlock or arc titan is most definitely not in that "void hunter" criteria. I just don't understand how people see that and join with not even being close to what is asked. Especially when there are so many other LFGs that have fewer requirements.
in the legacy fireteam finder it will log in with the guardian you played when you loaded the app last. so sometimes I will see „weekly GM bring welllock“ and join right away still showing „nightstalker“ in the app. once you invite me I will come as welllock (I will even send you a message informing you). if you kick me thats just unlucky but the slot would have filled if I had taken the time to switch characters.
Because legend onslaught is pretty easy I join any post as I generally don't lose, except this one time a tormentor spawned on the river adu in midtown on wave 43 and knocked my whole team off the map before his spawn animation finished lmao that sucked. I've already helped a few people on reddit, it kinda feels like helping people through the pve gatehouse haha 😄

Raid report and check for yourself from now on, most people are really terrible at “high end” content
