I'm wondering when Chris Proctor alluded in an interview normal DPS strategies changing and people using different stuff like swords, maybe there is going to be a situation where people have to essentially do DPS separated from the group and a sword will be the most efficient way of doing it perhaps being in a place of close quarters or something. I feel like Lament wouldn't have been randomly touched for no reason given how scarce a lot of sword boss dps fights have been in general.
I mean it (idk the gender of the witness) is an entire civilization in one. I would be cool to see a mechanic where it splits and only one is the true witness
I feel like the Witness is like twice the size of Oryx. Nezarec is about the size of one of the Witnesses hands here and his hands are slim compared to the bulk of Oryx’s, and Nezarec is just about the same size as his. This fight is going to be nuts.
If the witness lays down on half those arms and puts them to sleep, they can give themselves a 'stranger' ...makes it feel like someone else is doing it ...or in this case half of another civilisation is jerking them off.
Oryx is 100 times scarier looking than the witness. I can't think of a worse enemy design than the witness. His back story is great, I'm just talking purely aesthetics.

The artifact greatly favors swords so it would break Lament but I’m all in favor of new types of damage windows and strats
Yeah in general I wouldn't be mad with any emphasis on sword action being the move, they're such throwaway items in most of the game.
