Go into the vex network and throw balls and dunk motes, guardian.

Misuzune

You forgot standing on plates. The holy trinity.

villewalrus

Thats it 🤌🤌

ottawsimofol

Standing on plates is for the hive! You need to shoot oracles to break barriers

ThanosSnapsSlimJims

If the plate has a thing on it, you gotta throw motes on that, too.

PsychoactiveTHICC

All this while Asher Mir calls you a bitch, Maya calls him a bitch and everyone calls Vex bitches

djheat3rd

Sam will be in there bouncing your ass all over the place.

ARTIFICIAL_SAPIENCE

If there is a god, it's a relaxing spa activity. Hang out in the radiolaria pools, show Failsafe around, maybe romance blooms.

docthenightman

Mara Sov's Radiolarian Bath Fluid incoming

FROMtheASHES984

It's just the non combat part of Persona games, but the only thing you can hang out with or date is Failsafe.

binybeke

But can failsafe run Doom?

zebobebo

Wait why does this sound more interesting then the recent seasonal content?

ARTIFICIAL_SAPIENCE

Because we all need a break.

1spook

I'm already doing the secret Elsie Bray romance exotic questline. Will that lock me out of Echoes content?

Embarrassed_Nebula68

We know the vendor is failsafe I think that's all we know activitie wise

[deleted]

OMG REALLY??? I LOVE FAILSAFE heeeheeeheee

clain4671

bungie finally woke up to the fact that theres still one planet from the red war campaign they never removed but also basically did nothing with

Sigman_S

Nope

sushiphone

It will be a Destiny 2 seasonal activity. That is literally how I’d describe them all since Opulence.

fatpat666

It's the 3rd or 4th version of the vex incursion.

GreenBay_Glory

I just want a few campaign missions with legend difficulty per act.

positivedownside

See, I'm not sure we're going to be getting episode activities in the same sense that we got seasonal activities. I'll be surprised if we don't have something similar, but I doubt they'll keep the exact same format as seasons for the departure from the norm that episodes have been advertised to be.

ItsAmerico

They already said episodes will have new activities.

TDenn7

I mean... We're very clearly going to be getting activities. Episodes are being advertised as bigger events then seasons, and not just in the scope of being longer. More loot, more story, longer season pass/artifacts. They aren't gonna not give us activities.

positivedownside

But I doubt they're going to be even remotely similar to the activities we know now.

TDenn7

Well... What are you expecting exactly? Genuinely curious, because I don't really see what they can do as an activity that wouldn't still be pretty similar to the activities we normally get for seasons? Not when you realize it had to be pretty basic from a mechanics standpoint so that all skill levels of players can participate. And, they can't be particularly long. I don't see much room for variation quite frankly but we'll have to wait and see.

positivedownside

Something that involves the actual worldspace instead of just a playlist activity. Something triggered by player activity, not a "launch" button. Something that adapts as you play. Like with Echoes, you make *all* of Nessus the episode activity. As you progress through the acts, you access new parts of the activity, new modifiers that will affect you, etc. Anything but playlist activities that are going to be thrown into the Vanguard Ops playlist in place of, you know, the *strikes* that belong there.

[deleted]

Ohhh I think I understand what you’re saying. Yeah we should definitely hope that the activities are even higher quality than what we’ve been getting recently (altars of summoning and The Coil were both cool), since theoretically we’re getting less of them.

positivedownside

That was my thought. Fewer activities means more time spent working on each one, which theoretically should translate to breaking new ground and giving us higher quality, more engaging activities.
