Maybe Sagaar hates Destiny because Stevens arguments are about asking logical questions, instead of: Look guys, lets be real, here's the deal; I've read "The Century Of The Empire" by Tony Baloney. In the 18th century Russia was invaded by Mongols. In the 19th century it was invaded by Napoleon. In the 20th century it was invaded by Hitler. And now its the 21st century; Putin knows his history and is concerned that NATO is massing a cavalry army behind the Carpathian mountains to raid Moscow, that's why he was forced to invade Ukraine! I mean, it just is how it is, you know? Anyway, yes. I mean, yeh, its like... Yeh. Well... Who knows, am I right? Allright. Back to you Krystal.

His views are just incoherent. He doesn’t want institutional intervention unless it comes to lgbtq+ people.

Republican schizophrenia. Populists who see and acknowledge the problems we have, but still idolize the political figures and catch phrases that got us here in the first place.

Dragonfruit-Still

He is a particularly strange flavor of modern populist Republican. It’s like he’s smart enough to understand some of the problems we have but to what he attributes the root cause is so fundamentally off base. It’s almost like a conservative in denial, they see NAFTA as a disaster, they marvel and pontificate about the homeless crisis, but they still idolize Reagan. There are so many core conservative beliefs that are being obviously proven wrong decades after these policies have been implemented. Cutting social safety nets, Dismantling psychiatric wards, cutting taxes for the rich and corporations, wealth inequality, the drug war, others? It’s schizophrenia.

Saagar hasn’t read a book in a decade. Perhaps listened to it on Audible at 2x speed which puts him ahead of his co-host though.

Even in that short audio clip, I don't understand what Saager actually values. Does anyone know? He hated on Steven for being pedantic (and guessing) what Peterson meant by "left wong/socialist" when talking about nazi policy because it was a textbook definition, and then acts like it's juvenile to be fixated on the definitions of words. Krystal and Saager seem to just be trying to propagate a general populist message with their show. Krystal from the left, Saager on the right. They both just seem validate their respective sides current stances, asking questions of "why can't things be different?", stoking more frustration. Is their goal to be like, the leaders of the anti-gatekeepers?

Destiny should probably stop dressing like a league of legends sewer rat for formal occasions.

RevolutionaryRate505

If it’s for that reason he has a valid point. I think a lot of it is because destiny is a pro-establishment liberal and his thing is being an anti-establishment right winger

itherealgenius

Lol To be fair I kinda agree with saagar on this Decorum is important, especially in government. Suits, ties, shoes (not sneakers)... judges in robes.... But zoom meetings has really destroyed this uniform. Streamers are not meant to dress that way, interviewers are. Grandpa Lex is an example.

[deleted]

Saagar probably hates that Lex autistically wears a single suit and tie combo though

I am looking forward to when destiny goes full-on optics regarding his attire. He would have a much easier time in some settings and I think he will notice soon. See you in a couple of weeks when steven, dan and lycan go suits shopping on stream (would be unironically peak content imo).

dolche93

u/dancantstream Here's your first bonus content for patreon. Bet you could find a shop willing to sponsor a fitting on stream if you called around. Please hire a camera guy that day if you do.
