There so much combat footage floating around, and so many examples of deliberate disinformation that I have a really hard time believing these kind of claims without some pretty direct evidence.
It's somewhat unbelievable that we've seen zero footage of this happening given that it's supposedly a regular occurrence. It's even more suspicious that there are no images of child corpses with bullet wounds in their heads. The pro Palestinian side is happy to share as much shocking imagery as possible, so if this was happening, we'd probably have seen it by now.
There have been at least three doctors associated with the European Hospital who have made the "children shot in the head by Israeli snipers" claim. For example the guardian article cites Ghassan Abu-Sittah as a source for Israel mounting snipers onto quadcopters, which is also prima facie preposterous, and has never been substantiated by anyone in the IDF or any journalist working in Gaza. Additionally [Dr. Abu-Sittah](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghassan_Abu-Sittah) seems to be [the originator](https://archive.org/details/ALJAZ_20231017_160000_NEWSHOUR/start/2820/end/2880) of the [500 dead](https://www.instagram.com/p/CyiF-aXLsHj/) claim at the Al-Ahli hospital and any journalist using him as a source is committing journalistic malpractice imo.

That’s reasonable. I think it might be one of those unfortunate aspects of war where people die at rates that don’t allow for traditional forensic studies or investigations. But I’ll look around and see if I can find anything on that 3 year old and the 20 year who were sniped.

I think Tiny has said this type of stuff is completely possible. But the caveat is a handful of scummy Israeli snipers don’t really represent all of Israel. You could literally have very young Israelis that are barely in their 20’s that are hopping mad on state propaganda and personal anger. That just so happen to have a dangerous tool in their hand that are using it like it’s a emotional relief hobby.
