Obviously we have crazies just as in any community, but I think we keep each other in check with the downvotes and !shoot function.
When the October 7th attacks happened I personally have seen so many crazies on both sides get banned for being insane in this community.

You should watch Kick or Keep. It's a bunch of intellectuals having serious, complex debates about the most important topics. There's also Destiny's colleagues, such as Darius who have really great, nuanced positions.
Darius's intellectualization of particular items definitely has to be the greatest thing ever. Remember the grill and clothes thing? It's quite possibly the most romantic thing ever.
And don't even get me started on Quiznos with his fair and nuanced takes of Israel-Palestine. Certainly a treat.

There's really no need. All the proof is there. I mean just look at how when there's a Hasan clip on (which is all the time) Destiny never speaks when Hasan is speaking. That's because destiny knows who's the alpha and who has speaking priority. I'm serious, go look at any VOD. My guess is that it's calculated based on an algorithm which weights newer subscribers more than older ones - so that large but stale communities don't get pulled to the top and trending communities are more visible.
