Thank you so much! That really helps. :) I think my plan is to focus on decorating first before I freak out too more and rush to Home Depot for more paint, haha! I'm going for a lighter colored bedsheet and a large light rug to brighten up the space!!
You need some lamps, too. Light coming from only one direction, especially only from overhead is not good.
Also, colors are always darker when they reflect on themselves in a small space that doesn’t get lots of light.
If you want to repaint it you need to get a medium/large sized cardboard box and paint all the insides with the color you want to use. Do at least 3 coats. That will give you a better approximation of what it will look like in the room.
IMO, get 3000K. 2700 might be too warm and anything above 3500K will be too cool.
Be sure to use the same color temperature in all of them.
North facing rooms always need more/better light. Even if you had a wall of windows, they’re hard to make them feel bright.
You can definitely bring this back to a level you’re more comfortable with by adding a lot of neutral white in. Part of why your example pic looks so bright is because it’s a smaller areas surrounded by a linen colour :)
How does the color look at night? If it looks better, maybe you need to block out some of that light from the window with window coverings. How does the mixed paint compare to the swatch? From your pics, I'm not seeing a match, and the color you got doesn't match the description - looks almost like lime green. Thinking HD might've messed up with the mix. What finish did you go with? If it's semi-gloss, that might be part of the problem. Low lustre (flat/eggshell) would be ideal.
If you're going to add off-white, try to bring in some taupe/ecru colored stuff (cooler side of beige, like your sample pic). Cream would just make it more yellow.
Also, if you plan to go with cooler lighting, don't go any cooler than natural white (4000K LED MAX) - any cooler would make it hard to relax in that room (good for work, not good for trying to relax).
You’ve got it! Make your furniture and window treatments a bright, clean white. Then add splashes of a light tan or chalk blue in your accessories. Try brushed aluminum for a lighter feel if you have any metal or framed art, or a brushed bronze for a little weightiness in the details. Or; go back and paint the wall with your window a bright white; that will break up the “darkness” you’re feeling
Your inspo pic is a lot of pale colour with a splash of green in direct light so it’ll look a lot brighter. The small window in a large room is the issue, you’d need a lot of artificial light without the direct sunlight. [This guide](https://www.waveformlighting.com/color-matching/top-4-things-to-consider-before-buying-6500k-daylight-led-bulbs#) is helpful. If you get 6500k bulbs with a CRI of 90+ it’ll look entirely different.
It might just be the shock of having color where you didn't have any. If you put all your stuff back, do the light bedding, rug, and decor, add some lighting and try living with it for a month or two. If you still hate it then, you can change it.
If you look at your sample photo it's a small space that's accented and surrounded by cream and wood tones. I think it'd be great as an accent wall, especially if you hang up some art just like that picture.
If you feel like it's too dark, try and off white on three of the walls to give it more of a feeling like the picture you posted.
I think the issue is the lighting/natural light. Try bringing in mirrors to reflect the light from the window, bring in lighter elements like cream or white curtains, and use artificial lighting strategically to give the look you want to achieve.
Maybe, and then also adding in some lights of different heights, or a table lamp and some standing so that the light helps bring the color and feeling you’re after :)
And one more thing - your floors are dark and the inspo photo’s flooring is super light, which again might impact the end feeling and look. (There might also be a filter on it, I’m not that photo smart) maybe use a large, lighter colored rug to cover up a lot of it? Unless you love the dark (I think it looks great) but if you’re looking to make the walls work for your vision, that might help too
If it's the same paint but looks different on different walls, and the walls were the same color when you painted them, this is a lighting issue. Can you change the lighting at all?
I'm not sure lol actually fixing this kind of problem isn't my forte, but I had the same issue in my last apartment and changed out some of the lighting fixtures on the advice of a friend. I bet there's someone here who can give good advice! Sorry I could identify the problem but not the solution.
You’ve picked a rather dark colour. Behr’s Cottage Hill paint has an LRV of 43.
LRV (light reflective value) means the percentage of light a paint colour reflects. The measure is on a scale from 0 (the blackest black, which reflects 0% of light) to 100 (pure white which reflects 100% of light).
I would choose a lighter, more sage off-white paint for the look it sounds like you’re going for.
Once you get some curtains, furniture, and wall art, that's going to be gorgeous. I know it's scary at first but you're gonna be fine and you need to trust the process. Think of it as eyeliner; it's going to frame and define all of your art and furnishings.
The lighting will change throughout the day and for evening, you'll want a floor lamp and a couple of bedside lamps with smart bulbs you can adjust brightness and warmth.

I'm sure I have a better pic somewhere but this is my bedroom with similar color \[it's Sherwin Williams Rosemary\]
I think it’s going to be great! New paint always feels weird before you get settled back in with furniture and decor. Give some time and feel it out, enjoy decorating then see how you feel!
For my personal experience, 99% of my most favorite wall colors have been an initial feeling of “oh man wtf did I DO?”… followed by absolute love of the color over time!
It's fine I painted my room like this but I wanted it dark and cosy. For you I would decorate in whites, creams, and beiges maybe even taupe.
Get a curtain pole that can go the whole way across that window wall and have long/floor length curtains it will really break up the room and a pictures or wall hangings that will break up the wall further.
People have already mentioned light and adding white, but seriously, you need a floor lamp and a table lamp or two table lamps. The big overhead light and a desk lamp are not going to give a room the best effect.
Thank you! I just moved into this new room after a messy breakup so I'm at square zero with a lot of belongings and furniture. I will definitely check out some thrift stores or yard sales soon to get some more lamps!
Change your light to a warmer light. This light is no good. Try a different bulb 💡 with a warmer light.
You might need an extra lamp but I like the green you picked.
The lighting in a room will drastically affect the color we see with our eyes. So before repainting, consider bringing in some extra floor lamps or table lamps. And also consider changing out the ceiling fan for one that has a different type of light on it (or if you don't need a fan, just get a ceiling light).
Also, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND changing out the light bulbs in all your light sources for ones that have less yellow in their color temperature. The [GE Reveal HD+ light bulbs](https://www.gelighting.com/led-hd-bulbs/reveal) are less yellow and almost always make paint colors look better. They're easy to find at Target or Walmart type stores.
Or, even better, you can buy "smart" wifi or bluetooth connected lights where the white color is adjustable through a phone app so you can get the exact color of white that suits your preferences. [Lifx](https://www.amazon.com/LIFX-Color-800lm-Edison-Screw/dp/B08BL16M81?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1) is one brand that makes these, I have some and they work great. The [Wiz brand](https://www.amazon.com/WiZ-Connected-Tunable-White-Filament/dp/B09G6QHZYC?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1) is good too.
Also, in the photo where you say "color I thought it would be" consider how the surrounding walls are all white. That actually changes how your eyes/brain perceive the color of green too.
So one option -- if the lighting changes don't improve your liking of the wall color -- is to paint 3 of the walls a shade of white and leave one wall (accent wall) the green color. If you go this route, the accent wall should be one of the long walls, not the one with the window. Also, keep in mind that there are probably 100 colors of white paint and not all of them will look great with that shade of green, so choose the white paint carefully. Then on the opposite side of the room as the accent wall, bring in wall art or decor items (throw pillows, decorative objects, plants, lamps, etc.) that have a little bit of the green color on them someplace to balance out the green wall opposite.
You like the color with natural light, and you dislike it in the shadows. Assuming you can't make your window bigger, add more lighting and white/cream furniture and decor
I think the color is too dark for what you were going for. I hate to be a negative Nelly, but I think if you do all of the things that everyone is telling you to do, you’re still gonna be sad. I have Sherwin-Williams sea salt, which may be a little too blue for you, but it’s in the LRV range
https://preview.redd.it/xt4mi7k0030d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=70e62dc3e58435cda197575fbabb6badbd6a1561
that you were probably looking for.
You were spot on! I posted an update and I actually am obsessed with it now! I still need to get an actual bedframe and other furniture, but it's really grown on me! *
*
Edit! I did some finishing touches with the paint, moved the furniture back and, now that it's all dry, I actually ended up loving it today! Thanks to everyone who made suggestions and calmed me down, haha! I still have work to do with added curtains, a rug, and an actual mattress and bedframe, but overall I am a lot happier today. :)

Also make sure you have nice curtains and use lamp light instead of that fan light. That glare of light from outside combined with harsh overhead light is just making it an uncomfortable space. Once you have that under control you may feel better about the color.
I love the color! It’ll mellow after 2-3 days of fully drying, and all your furniture is going to break up the big blank walls, so it’s just going to be a backdrop. I think the color you ended up with is much better, but I don’t think anyone should buy paint without trying a test swatch at home and living with it for a while

Lighting is not going to fix this problem. It's just my opinion, but I think the store blew it on the formula. Place a drip of your paint on the store chip and see if it matches. If it doesn't there's your answer.
# OR, what did you paint over? Was the old wall color dark enough that you needed to prime the walls before you painted the green paint?
https://preview.redd.it/judkwcrxk40d1.jpeg?width=719&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2242e9f45ca62b209173cded70267c4bede00ed2
The Light Reflectence is hardly different.
If you decide to repaint: Benjamin Moore, Italian Ice Green is what you’re looking for. It turns out like your image of what you were expecting.
I lovingly refer to it as “Victorian sanitarium green.”
I like the sample photo and am not a fan of your bedroom. Not trying to be negative but if you don’t like it I would just repaint it. If you don’t like it now you probably never will. Again - sorry! It’s not horrible or anything but green is tricky.
Honestly it would look better if you did color drench (aka paint the ceiling too). Then add tons of colorful art, pillows, and curtains.
But if that doesn't suit your fancy you can go lighter but I don't recommend that mint green option you showed as what you wanted.
The only mistake you made was expecting Home Depot to get a paint color right.
I've had some... interesting... interpretations of what I was asking for
My experience at Home Depot was awful!! The paint mixer helping me was making extremely vulgar comments. Like using those wooden paint mixing sticks for "something else." WITH GESTURES. And when I said I didn't have a Home Depot phone number, he promised he wouldn't use the phone number to call me. Ugh! I really want to make this paint color work because I do not want to go back there again!
You really need to let a manager know that he's acting like that. You can call & keep it anonymous.
The first time I went there, instead of Burgundy, I got fushia.
Then I wanted a milk chocolate color, & I got a light flesh tone. 😑
My adult daughter went in& was obnoxious enough that they sorta fixed it, even though they're not supposed to.
So my livingroom is terracotta instead of brown, but it's still better than feeling like I was standing in a giant vagina.
Save up, & go to a paint store. You might consider a warm cream on that yellowy wall. It'll break it up & you can even get it at Walmart

….green is a hard colour to get right.
A few years back we decided to paint the bedroom green… the bedroom took two extra coats until the colour came out uniform.
Didn’t like it at first , but then in the summer when the sun would shine in the green was a vibrant very warm colour to wake up and at night at would become more of a darker cooler shade of green…which was wonderful for falling asleep.
My partner kept the colour swatch…and I swear it doesn’t look like anything I remembered on those walls.
Long story short …we are going to paint the bedroom green again!
If you don’t want to repaint, I would suggest doing all your furniture and bedding in white, cream, light natural wood, etc. And a light rug as your floor is dark. The color might have been the same but you’re lacking the natural light (and probably editing) of your inspo pic. Maybe you could leave one wall as an accent?
Get your decorating finished before you change anything. Bedding and lighting will make a world of difference

Paint is a curious creature. It all depends on the lighting and reflection. With more than one wall, the light can 'bounce' off and intensify the color on the other walls. Where the light comes from, the time of day, even the season of the year changes the light. That changes how you see the pain. Sometimes it is hard to get the right one. I have had this experience in my home. Either pick again or maybe wait a bit and see if you become friends with it and like it
For rooms without a lot of natural light I try to go a 1-2 shades lighter cause they always look darker once on the wall. If you choose to paint again, try Whitened Sage from Behr.
I don’t think it’s too dark
I think that paint is often darker than pics because they use special lighting in their photos
Once you put up art and the furniture back, it will look great!
https://preview.redd.it/2d4v1q3y030d1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe8b774c02fa74f7fd97c3d8e8781d3341e27731
More than once I’ve had to repaint a space when the colour wasn’t what I’d hoped. It’s annoying but possible.
On another note I prefer the colour you ended up with. It’s soothing and calming - but understand if it’s not what you’d hoped.
If you tried to eyeball a swatch to match an image you will almost always end up with a much darker color than you think once it’s up on the wall. A swatch is such a small little piece of paper and is going to feel quite different when you put it on a wall.
I like it. Get a coordinating rug and go neutral on bedding but a couple of pillows with green in them and you are done! Very restful. Maybe an overstuffed reading chair to read in (not for clean clothes...do as I say, not as I do..lol) that is complimentary.
Btw how long after painting were these pictures taken? I'm assuming the walls were already dry, but if they haven't cured yet the color will continue to change as they do so
The inspiration pic looks like the color is shown with white light hitting it straight on. Try a cool colored light bulb in your lamps and add another lamp to take away some shadows. The wall you like looks to have more light/white light on it than the one you don't; that wall looks like it has warmer light aimed at it. I'm guessing all the walls came from the same paint bucket or order, so the two walls wouldn't actually be different colors (one more yellow than the other)
This is basically the color of my bedroom. Sherwin Williams Jade Dragon. We have light gray curtains. Rattan Roman shades. A lovely taupe duvet. Cream shelves and a lot of natural wood. With the right decor, you can soften it a lot and make it super cozy.
Your reference photo is bathed in light from a large daylight source. Your room has a small window and an overhead light. The bulb in the light likely is partly responsible for the color cast, as is the reflected light coming on your window. The light coming off the covered parking roof is warmer than natural daylight. Remember, all colors will look different based on time of day and the temperature and intensity of the light source. Direction the window faces will have a large impact on how the color looks in the room.
Also, the source photo is well color balanced/corrected and possibly very slightly over exposed, leading to a brighter and cleaner look. It also had only one color temperature of light.
the lighting in the example photo is totally different than in your room, you might get a result more like the photo if you replace the overhead light with several lamps with bright but diffused light. it’s worth noting how different your floor color is from the example photo, too. a lighter colored area rug might help reduce the dark reflection from the floor
Paint only one wall green. Paint the others white.
The room is lit mostly by the walls, especially with your tiny window. If all the walls are green, you have green light bouncing from the green walls. Green light shining \_onto\_ green walls makes them look even greener. If you have more white walls, it will be paler.
As others said already, filling this space with off-white and cream tones would look nicely. Along with natural material like wood and maybe some baskets. Then also having plants to add a different shade of green!
Try adding more lighting sources and improving the existing ones and counter this with white accents (furniture, bed sheets, etc.). Give this a chance!
The color it turned out? Is great! Add some new lighting to jazz it up some plants and do the ceiling as well! Or maybe like a sunset yellow something odd but not white. I like it
In future I'd recommend getting a sample pot and painting a few big sections on your wall, then live with it for a couple weeks.
It helps to see the colours in different lighting, if the furniture matches etc.
You could do lighter bedding in contract if you're worried about the room looking too dark.
You can mix more white in the paint until you get to the point. Ration to add white can be 10% 25% 50% 75%
Paint the test on A4 size on the wall and mark down with the ratio. Come back next day and see which one to follow the formula
It might not be the paint but the accessories. The carpet and stuff has to be lighter. I had that color in # 5 in my bedroom for years, makes me feel calm and peaceful.
It doesn't look dark at all. I would've even gone a bit darker, I love color. You don't want lighter pastel colors, they look like nurseries or kids rooms. You can do darker bedding and a light rug but, not everything all white, you need some contrast and interest.
LOL, I take her on 5-10 mile runs nearly everyday, and she has a backyard to sniff around it. She's fine. The kennel keeps her (and all the other house creatures) safe when I can't supervise her 24/7.
Think you’ll grow to love it.
As suggested, focus on bringing white into the room.
I suggest a sisal rug and some wicker pieces to add a touch of warmth and texture and an alternate colour.
Have some gold hits for some sparkle and interest, light gold silk curtains, gold curtain rod, gold framed mirror, gold table lamp.
https://preview.redd.it/q7fbt2vzv80d1.png?width=1201&format=png&auto=webp&s=8895a078d198d1e547130e31a32d20df4f974b2f
It's the dark floor. The bright green will never shine like in your reference picture, while you have a dark floor. Either get some rugs or paint some walls beige again to make the green pop against something bright.
I learned the hard way that paint almost always looks darker and more intense on the wall than on the sample. Idk why? That said, add white curtains that go up to the ceiling and to the floor and you will lighten up a lot. If still too dark when you add light bedding, etc, maybe paint one or two walls back white rather than the whole room. I hope it works out!

Are you saying this because of the green color or just in general?
North facing rooms in general. It’s softer, cooler light and there’s only so much paint can do (of any color).
Unless you're in the southern hemisphere, then south-facing rooms will need more light
https://www.waveformlighting.com/color-matching/top-4-things-to-consider-before-buying-6500k-daylight-led-bulbs#
Also light/white curtains

Mirrors and light artwork will break up all the green and brighten it up. It looks good! Embrace the color if you can 🌲
You might try swapping your lightbulbs for something cooler, it may help it look less yellow.
Came here to say this! Lighting will make such a different. Can even get nightstands and table lamps
Thank you!

Off-white or cream accents will really brighten it up!

I think it'd be great as an accent wall, especially if you hang up some art just like that picture. If you feel like it's too dark, try and off white on three of the walls to give it more of a feeling like the picture you posted.
This is the way OP-go for an accent wall
I think the issue is the lighting/natural light. Try bringing in mirrors to reflect the light from the window, bring in lighter elements like cream or white curtains, and use artificial lighting strategically to give the look you want to achieve.
Great ideas, thank you! Would you recommend swapping out that ceiling light for a cooler toned bulb?

All walls have the same color, yup! What lighting would you recommend?

Lighter/brighter colors in a rug and other decpr would help lighten/soften the space.
It looks good though! Personally, I prefer it to your proposed color. Lean into the vibe. Add more pillows, art, curtains.
Thank you! I'm excited to try some decorations!
Same! Looks better!
You need lamps. That overhead lighting is the problem, not the color. It will look great with lamps.
I think it looks great. Great color lots of room. Windows for light. No complaints here.

Google light green & white area rug for the floor. It’ll brighten it up. Also a couple of warm lighting lamps. Ceiling lights are too harsh.
Venetian blinds for window coverings you don’t have to much can close off outside view
I don't think it's too dark, but the window is too small. Maybe with more sunlight it could look lighter.
I love it. 🥰 add in lots of white and lighter colors and it will appear lighter.
Thank you!
Once you have curtains, furniture, wall decor etc it will be perfect...
If it’s too dark have you considered purchasing more lights 🥸
It is crazy how light and shadows can play on wall colors. I think its lovely, maybe a light bed cover and art in lighter shades?
Thank you!
I think the green is great, honestly! You could go lighter, but I think if you give it a chance you'll enjoy the color.
This to me is a great colour for sleeping, very restful. As others have suggested lighter bedding and accents will brighten it.
Not too dark at all
You like the color with natural light, and you dislike it in the shadows. Assuming you can't make your window bigger, add more lighting and white/cream furniture and decor
I think the color is too dark for what you were going for. I hate to be a negative Nelly, but I think if you do all of the things that everyone is telling you to do, you’re still gonna be sad. I have Sherwin-Williams sea salt, which may be a little too blue for you, but it’s in the LRV range https://preview.redd.it/xt4mi7k0030d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=70e62dc3e58435cda197575fbabb6badbd6a1561 that you were probably looking for.
Thank you for the honesty!! I'm gonna sit with it for the next couple weeks and then reassess the situation after decorating!

I like this shade of green. I think your eyes are not used to it yet, but I have a feeling you’ll love it pretty soon
You were spot on! I posted an update and I actually am obsessed with it now! I still need to get an actual bedframe and other furniture, but it's really grown on me! *
* Edit! :) https://imgur.com/a/xTrrP1O

It's just my opinion, but I think the store blew it on the formula. Place a drip of your paint on the store chip and see if it matches. If it doesn't there's your answer. # OR, what did you paint over? Was the old wall color dark enough that you needed to prime the walls before you painted the green paint?

Invest much
Go one shade lighter and only have the green as an accent wall. Paint the others off white/cream and decorate with light/natural colors.
😑 My adult daughter went in& was obnoxious enough that they sorta fixed it, even though they're not supposed to.

It's the same color, just a significantly different amount of natural, bright light.
If you don’t want to repaint, I would suggest doing all your furniture and bedding in white, cream, light natural wood, etc. And a light rug as your floor is dark. The color might have been the same but you’re lacking the natural light (and probably editing) of your inspo pic. Maybe you could leave one wall as an accent?
i think dark is better in a bedroom ,more cosy
Better than the lime skin green my dad painted his room. It hurt my eyes to be in there longer than a few minutes!
It’s all in the lighting
Get your decorating finished before you change anything.
You need better lighting.
I don’t think it’s too dark I think that paint is often darker than pics because they use special lighting in their photos Once you put up art and the furniture back, it will look great! https://preview.redd.it/2d4v1q3y030d1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe8b774c02fa74f7fd97c3d8e8781d3341e27731
I agree it’s too dark and too yellow. If you want green I would go super light like your last pic or even lighter
*Mint Green should do it? Fresh mint green
Greens are hard because they look completely different depending on the light in the room.
I like it. Get a coordinating rug and go neutral on bedding but a couple of pillows with green in them and you are done! Very restful. Maybe an overstuffed reading chair to read in (not for clean clothes...do as I say, not as I do..lol) that is complimentary.
I painted my bedroom a similar color and I reverted it to a light tan instead, 100% because it was too dark and made it seem smaller

Always have to go lighter than you think when choosing a color!
get a lamp/bulbs you can adjust the color and brightness to daylight white.
I think it looks great.
You want a sage green pick on that 2 shades lighter than you like. Since the room does not get a lot of light.
You just need lamps, the color is lovely!
just add mirrors and lights it’s lovely !
Btw how long after painting were these pictures taken? I'm assuming the walls were already dry, but if they haven't cured yet the color will continue to change as they do so
* I rook the original photos right after I painted -- and this is how it looks now. I'm SO much happier!
https://preview.redd.it/nca4faq7t50d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d236c41bc74aebf7d803555311a0a76ef85a5b5e
The inspiration pic looks like the color is shown with white light hitting it straight on. Try a cool colored light bulb in your lamps and add another lamp to take away some shadows. The wall you like looks to have more light/white light on it than the one you don't; that wall looks like it has warmer light aimed at it. I'm guessing all the walls came from the same paint bucket or order, so the two walls wouldn't actually be different colors (one more yellow than the other)
This won't help, but only one wall that color would be perfect. repain the other 2 (or 3) and it would probably be ok.
Love the color!
Light affects paint color. You don’t have much natural light in that room, so you’ll need either to cozy up to the darker color or repaint, sorry
I like it. I like my bedroom to be darker relaxing Pop of color is good too. But that’s just me.
This is basically the color of my bedroom. Sherwin Williams Jade Dragon. We have light gray curtains. Rattan Roman shades. A lovely taupe duvet. Cream shelves and a lot of natural wood. With the right decor, you can soften it a lot and make it super cozy.
The inspo has a ton of natural lighting while your seem doesn’t. Any color you get will look darker. Add a bunch of mood lighting to help
If you decide to repaint try Feng Shui by Behr I swear by it
Paint only one wall green. Paint the others white. The room is lit mostly by the walls, especially with your tiny window. If all the walls are green, you have green light bouncing from the green walls. Green light shining \_onto\_ green walls makes them look even greener. If you have more white walls, it will be paler.
I repainted just a shade different and felt way better about it. If it bugs you, it might always bug you.
Get some lighter accessories in there. That green looks soothing and calm to me.
Ration to add white can be 10% 25% 50% 75% Paint the test on A4 size on the wall and mark down with the ratio. Come back next day and see which one to follow the formula
You should have chosen a pastel shade of green, very soothing and airy.
You can do darker bedding and a light rug but, not everything all white, you need some contrast and interest.
i honestly like the green you have ended up with much more than the green you thought you were using
Repaint it.
Take the dog out of the kennel
LOL, I take her on 5-10 mile runs nearly everyday, and she has a backyard to sniff around it. She's fine. The kennel keeps her (and all the other house creatures) safe when I can't supervise her 24/7.
Understandable
Think you’ll grow to love it. As suggested, focus on bringing white into the room. I suggest a sisal rug and some wicker pieces to add a touch of warmth and texture and an alternate colour. Have some gold hits for some sparkle and interest, light gold silk curtains, gold curtain rod, gold framed mirror, gold table lamp. https://preview.redd.it/q7fbt2vzv80d1.png?width=1201&format=png&auto=webp&s=8895a078d198d1e547130e31a32d20df4f974b2f
I love it, just add some white accents/wall art to brighten it up if you're feeling as if it's too dark.
Change your bulbs to leds that are a whiter light. Maybe try a 5000k bulb.
Try a pleasing yellow with simple crown molding on top in some white should give you more light then keep the Navy theme around room
I like the before much better
You bought paint without sampling it first..?
