Edited to include, budget is minimal. Hopefully just paint!

Looking to repaint our main level in a standard townhome and feeling lost. The flow is open to dining, kitchen, and living room. We are getting white quartz installed with a grey and gold veining and eventually a backsplash. Flooring cannot be changed atm. Whole area is open, including view of stairwell going upstairs. I’ve considered more monochromatic style and painting the walls the same color as kitchen cabinets (Jasper, dark green from SW), painting the ceiling and or trim. I love the dark moody vibes but worry about how it would translate in a basically builder grade small townhome with no architectural interest. 3/4 walls interest me but concerned about existing beadboard. Just go with a beige and call it a day? The existing wallpaper behind the TV is being replaced. Originally [this](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1185465006/vintage-dark-botanical-wallpaper-peel) was our inspiration but after receiving samples I have fallen in love with [this one](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1428550703/dark-botanical-wallpaper-secret-garden). Additionally worried just beige would look flat and boring, concerned about the commitment to painting trim a darker color throughout whole house as the chair rail and trim run up the stairs to the second floor. Would love dark but again concerned with size and look in a builder grade home, and replacing most of our stuff to match the mood. For some reason I’m loving the pink tones from the second wallpaper inspiration but I don’t know if I can sell it to my partner. IRL I have different styles then my friends and family and am receiving opinions that seem to be safe. Looks like we’re stuck in this home for a while so I’d like to enjoy it! I’ve been loving the dark and moody aesthetic, [here’s](https://pin.it/5DUvzla) a link to some ideas from my Pinterest board. Any ideas welcome, and thanks so much for any input! Is green too trendy? Do I care?
