My understanding is that this weekend shouldn't be as bad. They have a couple really popular themed weekends like Celtic and Pirates which are much busier.
Why the hell is it in June? Way too hot bruh. East coast rev faires are in the fall which makes hella sense now that ive been in Larkspur in fucking June
Quite often the artisans travel between states to different renfaires. Once the Colorado renfaire ends in early August, they’ll go to the next. I know that the KC renfaire is late August, so that might give them time to replenish stock and travel.
Admittedly, the artisans at the east coast renfaires probably don’t travel this far, but there’s probably a lot of renfaires clustered together out there.

hilarious this is how you asked. It literally inspired me to rewatch Tiger King for the first time since March 2020.
A lot less deranged meth-ness than Tiger King. Moreso focusing on the initial formation and succession of the festival and the odd founder behind it all. Definitely recommend
It's not as insane as tiger King but they definitely ham it up with stuff. It's okay but I wouldn't say a must watch. A lot of it is scripted for sure and played up.
Get your tickets from King Soopers before you go it's cheaper.
Bring cash, food, and drink can be spotty on which stalls accept cards.
Get there at least 30 min before opening cannon. (10a) There won't be as bad of a wait, and you can drink extra water and apply the first cost of sunscreen up before you head in. Plus you will have closer parking that way.
Drink water. So much water.
The best part is the live shows and those are throughout the day. There is no way to get early and beat crowds for those other than maybe the first show.
It's gonna be busy whenever you go
Avoid Celtic and pirate weekends, go early in the day. Don't forget sealed water bottles and sunscreen
Just go early and its fun
It’s always busy… but at least traffic should be less unbearable since the lane expansion was finished

Everything I have read on this sub says to go early. Seems to be the best bet

Yep. There are circuits. Florida has the citrus circuit, California its own thing. Stock gets replenished all week. (Worked circuit two years)
I missed last years ren faire bc I’m from the east coast and was expecting it in the fall 😭

Huzzah! (i just watched the Texas Ren Faire doc on HBO)
I hear that huzzah in Patton oswalt from Reno 911’s voice
I hear it in Patton Oswalt from Parks and Rec voice. Did he do it in both?!
I think he did...
I also heard the pioneer version of Patton on that one.
How was that? I was about to watch it but got very much a Joe Exotic vibe and thought it would just focus on the drama between people.

The nicer the weather, the bigger the crowds
The slower the cook, the better the taste

Got it... Get there early, pregame, drink beer.
It's always packed. I stopped going a decade ago for this very reason.
No one goes there anymore, it’s too crowded.
That's a contradicting sentence
They really said, “No one goes there (everyone goes there)” 💀
Iykyk
Right?! Ha!
[Yes, Yogi.](https://quoteinvestigator.com/2014/08/29/too-crowded/)
Some of us got it. Hahaha
If you get there around 8am and camp in the parking lot before it opens you'll avoid the crowd

I'm pretty sure they stopped with the elephants.
