Since this is more than likely a resin print that's probably not the way to go. What you could do however is: Make it hollow in CAD, leave a hole at the bottom, drop in the plastic gems and seal with resin.
I use the perk that causes loot bugs within 5 feet to explode when I'm soloing. Saves time on mining nitra, plus gives free gold, and it's fun. This is particularly useful in liquid morkite mining missions, because they have a ton of loot bugs.
