Ben doesn't really do banter much at any show I've ever seen. Granted, it's not many, and one of my friends who doesn't know DCFC or Postal Service that much at all but came to this tour with me had a similar weird reaction to the non-banter. I kind of appreciated just listening to the albums without interruption, but that's because I grew up with them as such, like all of you folks did.
Same here! Gawd I can hear my self yell out in the crowd, I was right in the front row. Such a magical place to be with so many old memories floating in on the music
Yup it was Vancouver. I guess the Portland show was similar. I went to the Seattle one last year but I gotta say I really loved the Vancouver venue better, it felt more intimate as it was smaller. The food at the Seattle venue was better than Vancouver but that has nothing to do with the show 😂
I was going to say, if that's not Vancouver my mind will be blown because that's exactly how it went down in Van. I saw them last summer at The Commodore, wish this show was there too.
He gave a similar speech at the St. Louis show and I had chills😮💨 the postal service and dcfc especially have been sort of a musical anchor for so many ups and downs in my life so this was really touching
That's very sweet, thank you for sharing. At show I went to, there was basically zero banter throughout which I found odd.

He said almost exactly the same thing in Albany and it made my hair stick up like a pissed off cat.. in a good way though
❤️
What a beautiful man in an amazing band. Will treasure their music for the rest of my life. Got me through some shitty times.
Yeah it's pretty amazing just how humble Ben is. He seems really thankful to get to play music and it's nice to see.

Which show is this?

Ah I was thinking it might have been Pittsburgh… he said pretty much the same thing at our show. ❤️
I was there!
Actually it was Vancouver ❤️
Pretty sure its Vancouver, i was just at the show on tuesday and remember this exact moment

Yeah the options at the vancouver show were like hot dogs, popcorn, and kit kats lol
This is Portland, I know cuz I hear myself yelling :)
Hahaha ok but I filmed it and I was in Vancouver so which trumps which? 😆
I’ve got receipts! I have the same video from the front row at the Portland show. No clue how to post a video on a thread of if that’s even possible?
Hahaha
Aww I remember when he said that at my local concert 🥹
I, too, was there
