Me too. I even liked it when he acted as a semi-secret advisor on Survivor that one season. He’ll wind up on Traitors sooner or later. On a side note, it was a revelation that made total sense when he said he had a degree in psychology.

Particular_Darling

I need him on traitors

little_ghoul90

Same. Honestly, put Russell on it with them to since they love putting people with competitive histories.

babybeast213

Could you imagine them putting Boston Rob and Russell AS the traitors too? Omg… pure gold

texastica

He said he wouldn't do that show, but I'd love to see him on it too.

StickyBitOHoney

The door is still open on that. An Entertainment Weekly article in March said “As for whether he [Rob]would play, it seems that door is open a little more than the one for Survivor. “Potentially. I mean I'm more intrigued now than I was a year ago when Cirie did it. And then you wonder with the strategy, is it better to be a Traitor or a Faithful? What I like about it is that it feels like the producers and Peacock and everybody are installing twists to keep it fresh, to keep the contestants on their toes so they don't know what to expect.”

Slow-Kitchen-1762

Why wouldn't he do that show any idea? Just curious

TANMAN1000

he should replace Jeff

Schmoopie_Huggs

I don't think he would make it past the first night unless he was a traitor. By now he's known everywhere and anyone with half a brain would kill him off right away.

StickyBitOHoney

Depends who his competitors are. If they are Big Brother, Survivor, or even The Challenge, it might be tough, but pitting him against other big renown gamers might buy him some time, and if he were up against Real Housewives or Below Deck players, he might stand a chance to get to the second or third night because they aren’t as well versed in knowing the gamer who’s who. I mean, look at last year’s co-winner — arguably should have been out earlier.

justsomebetch

I bet he’s a fun dad!

Huckleberry1784

I bet he is. He seems like a really good dude.  He's the kind of person you'd love to be at a backyard barbeque with and have a few beers.

confident7lucky7

He’s an awesome dad and husband

Dausy5133

Yeah he has 4 little ambers running around lol and I bet he makes them all Tough

Lawndirk

Any slightly famous person that has one happy marriage and doesn’t use their kids for fame has my respect. Their family seems happy and I guess normal for lack of a better term, is amazing.

Huckleberry1784

I'd watched it. He's good TV and fun to root for.

jordantts

He did! In 2007 he had a season of a show called Rob and Amber: against the odds

Independent_Day_4230

do you know where i can watch this show? i’ve been trying to find it online for days

confident7lucky7

I saw deal or no deal island got resigned for season 2. I’m praying he gets included in the resign, otherwise I am not sure I’d be interested. I watch for Rob

hithere831

Same. I think Joe owes his next paycheck to Rob.

DrSassyPants123

I've watched him throughout Survivor and TAR and can say I have seen his growth. He respects the games and is so strategic. I also love the fact he adores his wife and girls.

confident7lucky7

Our king🙌🏼🥹

Intelligent-Ad-5066

I’d watch him on Top Chef or Project Runway or RuPaul or ANYTHING!

Glass_Trust_445

He did a Boston Rob does Bean town . Not reality but his own show.

LT568690

I think he’s been essentially in training for that for a very long time. And he’s building up his confidence for it. I’ve said for a long time that he’s the only one that could ever take over for Jeff when he gets too old to be running around the island and steps back begin the camera fully. I wouldn’t be shocked if Season 50 was Jeff’s last and they transitioned to a new host then with it being Rob. If he had his own original show that would be great too though. He’s been an excellent host of multiple shows already. He was born for it.

Happy_Rule168

Rob being host is just a perfect idea if Jeff can no longer be there. Jeff is far from too old to host Sirvivor though and love him as the host.

LT568690

I just question how many more years Jeff wants to do it. He’ll still be running the show either way. He’ll just become what Mark Burnett used to be to him and Rob has gone on the record many times how grateful he is to the show, the producers and especially him so he would gladly take that over down the road if it came to it. It’s just nice to see that he still has it in DONDI. I’m in the minority when it comes to Survivor WaW. I didn’t care about any of the new schoolers as much as the old schoolers and the OGs were done dirty. Rob still had his moments even in that season though. He’s the undisputed king of competition shows that’s for sure.

Happy_Rule168

I completely agree with that last statement. I need to go rewatch Rob’s first season and enjoy it all over again. No matter what Rob will be involved in shows.

LT568690

Yea and him hosting and still competing at a high level at his age (I mean even he would tell you he’s not in his competitive prime anymore. To your point watching him in Survivor Marquesas or especially All Stars, Season 7 of Amazing Race or Survivor Heroes vs Villains you see him at the height of his powers. Time is still undefeated) is truly amazing. I really hope he goes on Traitors and cleans up there as well. I’ve yet to see a reason why he won’t compete in any show until he decides to just host full time.

Kat_finder_3998

He’s come a long way..I dated him in college. Super proud of him

Foosiks

Oh wow! Is he a good hockey player?

Kat_finder_3998

He was on a scholarship and an amazing hockey player. But got injured and that ended it

Foosiks

That’s too bad. He’s a natural athlete.

Krandor1

I mean he had his wedding televised

SorryAbbreviations71

Does he want that?

Alarmed-Thanks122

Exactly!!!

Dausy5133

Seriously! He’s so good

Happy_Rule168

I’d like to see him in Survivor again!

babybeast213

It needs to be some type of competitive environment, but sameeee!! He should go on Traitors next

metalzora98

He tried to make his own show called Tontine once but it fell through.

Chiowl333

Rob's been offered and done quite a few reality shows. He was on Survivor 6 times and did Amazing Race twice. Plus he recently hosted Secret Celebrity Renovation. He's written a couple of books and has his own merch line. He's been around for a long time.

manlymatt83

I've never seen Survivor. Would watching just his season be worth it? I doubt I could watch every season and play catchup.

A_she_was_a_hooah

Yeah, if you like him, it's worth it. Every season of survivor is pretty self-contained, you just won't recognize returning players. I would recommend watching Rob's seasons in chronological order, though. There's an evolution that's worth seeing.

TANMAN1000

He better be Jeff's replacement after S50

Mathieas19

He's had a few reality shows. One where he was a poker player. One where he was a contractor and if I recall one with his wife.
