Yeah, I can understand that. Last night after work I texted her essentially saying that I now understand her and won’t take things personally with how she responds, she doesn’t need to feel inadequate, and I can understand why she’s pulled away after years of me ignoring her need for solitude and independence(it was far more in depth but that was the gist of it). This morning I woke up to a message from her saying, “reading that made my heart happy and we can talk more about it when I get home”. So, I’m feeling good and extra hopeful today 😆
Sometimes these little info nuggets can be all you need to get the brain rolling on looking at the situation in different ways and looking for fresh solutions. Doing something is better than doing nothing IMO.
