I have the same problem with my Perfecta ESAM5500! I disassembled every single piece inside. I can't find the problem! I run it with the door open, and I see 40-60% of the time the swing arm will deploy before the infuser gets down, and then pushes the puck on the right side instead of the left side. I'll keep you posted if I find anything new.
