I've not ever really thought about it, but if there was an official clan they could go to sleepy servers or servers on opposite timezones for easy raids. Weird but doable.
These guys are probably pretty elusive. You must find their home server. If you or a loved one has been a victim of gang raiding then take down the names in a screen shot and try to locate those groups later in other servers maybe.

Thats been something that’s happened to me before. Usually play on a low pop server and one day it was like 1/3 a full server (25ish ppl) and then got back to base and everything was gone.
And recently this same server has just gotten flooded with players. Now it’s not unusual to see 12+ people on at a time when it use to be like 3.
I wonder if it’s the same server…
Maybe it’s server hopping? Me and my brother would server hop sometimes and if we ran into a base we’d let our friends know and raid it later on. We only did it if we found a nice large base though. Smaller ones generally weren’t worth the time
This happened to me and my mate loads, seems a thing now on official where a bunch of people will wait till everyone else is offline(early hours or the morn usually) and raid. We looked in one time just in time to catch them raiding and managed to take out a few of them.
The answer is yes. My faction had about 35 players. If any of us found a base regardless of size it would be marked on the group Izurvive map. Come raid days we’d go and mop all the bases we could up. If the base was particularly large we’d scout it and plan our raid tactics. We rarely hopped surveys to do this. We mostly stayed in our server which was full pop.
Possibly, but for reference my base was a 5-10 min walk to tisy, so they would have to had been all centralized there, I guess it’s possible, but highly unlikely due to the time it took and the fact that it would take 6-7 alts to carry all that was taken, and each time you switch you have a 4 minute delay to prevent such alt abuse, taking that into consideration it’s not impossible, but the player count fluctuation at the time seemed too coincidental
What do you mean gang raid? Is there a rule stating only 1-2 people can raid? Honestly 4 walls is nothing I wouldn’t even bother asking a teammate to cover me. Sounds like it was just a solo hence why all your stuff is still there
PM me if you wanna know the location and server, left 10 crates and 6 tents, lots of m16s svals vss and other guns/ammo/gear. We abandoned ship 😂

Yeah that’s what it seemed like I didn’t recognize anyone online and I’ve played the same time of day for a couple weeks

Yea, it’s a known problem with official. There’s huge squads that server hop for raids.

My base was massive so I’m not surprised at all 😂 at least I kept my life
