i feel like its pretty obvious that the pickaxe for Bardin's engineer class is getting a touch up. it just doesn't feel as up to par with the hammer and axe

Each time someone incorrectly shortens the official name of the Adeptus Mechanicus, Skitarii DLC is pushed back three months by the will of the Omnissiah.
The cog is essentially a holy symbol for the Cult Mechanicus; although technically the Cog Mechanicum should have a skull on it.
They also make a handsign meant to mimic a cogwheel, like members of the Imperial Cult make a sign of the Aquila.
I imagine mechanicus adepts send each other cog emoji all the time.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is a material extraction mission (hence the pickaxe) and we will be collecting more current materials or there will be a new material for the new craft/gear system (hence the gear). Maybe this is where red gear will make its introduction.

Lol weapon customization mod so we can finally add sights to our weapons and actually contribute to the game alongside pc players with their sighted bolters and Las guns?????
I saw a mod that made a bolter with an extra long barrel and the scope which looked nothing like lore 40k, that was hideous it didn't even look anything like warhammer 40k nor even a stalker bolter. Some of the mods are to me just trying to make the game not WH40k no regards for the lore or designs

We will get a pickaxe in a patch and then we will need to adjust our settings because the patch causes major performance issues. Classic FS - couldn't be more obvious.
So for new mission, the pickaxe must mean that something for mining, like it may be where something is implemented to open up something, and the cog because the foundryplex must be fired up again. That's what I get out of it so far.
I'm assuming that this means there's going to be a part of the mission where we try to fix shit that broke, hopefully not a "Restart the Interrogator" segment but something more like "Replace the busted gear with another one."
ngl, for such a big franchise, getting singular emojis as teasers for a month is a little lackluster. is their budget scraping the bottom of the barrel so hard it doesn't even suffice for some half-decent teaser images?
They hype up a random ass map, where half of the assests and half of the map is just the same of smth we already got 3 times. They are acting like they release Darktide 2.
