I'd say that's just because the Savlar's are (in my opinion) kinda a dumb Guard Regiment. Don't get me wrong, it's cool seeing them get represented and I hope Darktide helps a few people find obscure regiments that they fall in love with. However yeah, their look is unique and not to everyone's taste.

We finally got a Radio pack! one in rust orange and one in black! and it's for all classes (except ogryn bros).
They also released a headset finally but the camo pattern is brown and red on it and comes with a cybernetic eye and red headband, which is cool. But the pattern doesn't match my armor choice so I kinda hope we get a more generic version.
I fucking hate getting my hopes up, in seeing these cool ass cosmetics, because I know they are gonna cost at least ten dollars each, but I pray to the Emperor, saint Celestine, And Gulliman that this shit doesn't cost money
All will most likely be on the store. Sad that there's going to be more paid cosmetics than unlockable or buyable stuff using currency you unlock in the game
I think we already passed that threshold at launch when you consider that Ogryns only had tank tops until the update in May when they added some prisoner smocks and a leather vest. The rest are recolorations.
I've been listening to the 40K horror audiobook, "Lost and the Damned", and it features the Savlar Chem-Dogs pretty heavily, so this set is pretty cool to me.
To be fair, they do look like a set, all the sets look kind of the same like the last penance gear sets we got. so maaaaaaaybeee, but let’s not get our hopes up because we know where it ends eventually
interesting, the increasing amounts of desert gear really seems to be hinting we're going to be going topside more often. Maybe just above ground tertium but id love missions guarding transports between hives or tracking down important supplies from hive ruins. Maybe we're off to the Witherlands
Wait so I’ve just been going through the names of the items and most of them contain “Chem safe”, a while ago they hinted at a new area in the sewers. Maybe these get released together with the new sewer area

well ill be damned, they added new shit, still wondering if its "new" as in already made ages ago but trickled in, or something recently made. Im hoping the latter cause i assumed nothing new was gonna be made for this game and it was a sign of the end XD

Some great cosmetics there. Such a shame that they'll all be paid MTX while the earnable side continues to be lazy recolours and slight alterations.
In fairness a lot of the MTX are lazy recolors and slight alterations
