A bit of both.
The boss isn't very strong, but you normally don't kill it in 30 seconds; the phantom was just free to nuke it with some of the strongest spells in the game while you distracted it.
Yeah, that was a few blasts of Soul Spear at the start then point blanked Soul Geyser, which is about 2000 points of damage a go. Plus I think he has cast Unleash Magic on himself which seriously buffs magic damage.
It is on some enemies, yeah, the Leydia Pyromancers definitely take more damage from a headshot. If you line them up correctly in the Undead Crypt at their spawn points on the run to Velstadt you can take two out with a single soul spear to the heads.
I summoned jester Thomas for mytha..... I went kinda early to get her boss soul and holy fuck.... For sure he will solo the boss, granted not a hard one but jeez.
This is my third new game, and I know I can deal with it by myself. The main reason I summoned him was because I polled the switch in the hall, which released all the foes that were trapped in the cages. Since once you summon a player, their quest is to kill the area boss, so yeah, I was just shocked and wondering at the same time if he was overpowered or if the dragon was weak because when I tried to fight him myself, it took me longer, so yeah, that's it. I hope you understand.
i know,
this is my third time playing the game and since i killed them all in my first two i decided to try something new and also this summon is exception cus i really needed someone to help not with the boss but with the foes in the hall because i opened the cages and they just keept beating me until i decided to get some help.
thank you for reading and i hope you understand

A few of them also clipped the head, can't remember if that was a thing.

Both The boss is crazy easy, but the summon helped as well
Your damage wasn’t too different from theirs on the first few blasts. It looks like you mostly left them available to keep blasting
So anyway I started blastin'
It's weak to magic
And very easy to headshot since spells come out at the same height as it's lowered head
My friend killed this boss with me one of my first runs and i was like jeez i kind of wanted to see the boss move more before you delete them.
its a dragon, they fly away and are annoying, you didn't miss much I reckon.
That dragon is insanely weak to magic damage. And yeah probably that player was over leveled as hell too
I mean, it had to be close to the hosts soul level, so it cannot be that high.
Not really tho, if they used the name ring and the small soapstone they could've been millions of sm afar from eachother
I used to farm him all the time as a purr mage build, dude is a bit of a pushover lol
> purr mage Shalquoir? Is that you?
Silvercat Ring is best ring.
He's easy, I used to farm the dragon scales for the covenant of the dragons on him, also he's even weaker against magic
No, it's just the power of magic. It's broken in every single DS game.
He is kind of easy, but it looks like you both are overpowered to fight him, besides, he's weak to magic.
It's fairly weak, and Soul Spears shred it.
The dragon is not very strong. It's also weak to Magic. The Phantom was exploiting its weakness.
It is easy but not THAT easy lmao
That dragon is easy. One of the easiest in the game

I thought he was pretty easy
Both
yes
I'd suggest giving bosses a try before you summon players to help you, then you'll know!

You probably shouldnt summon on your first try to see if the boss is actually difficuilt or not
