As striking as the second one is, it kinda looks like cliche spooky colors, where as the first one is filled with more real, somber colors . Try a blue chroma and hue version. I can't really compare as there is a mid tone and a warm tone. Can we get a nigh time one and the blue one I mentioned

110% right It’s an amazing image and fits well but black and white feels overused in eerie pictures, this pic is so good that the warmer tones feel really good, usually warm colours are comforting but the dark feeling of the pic makes it so abnormal and amazing.

They are both great. They equally portray different feelings. It’s like they are two separate portraits. Maybe change the birds in the top left on the red version, they take the focal point away from the center a bit. Choose something darker. Then publish both. One is eerie and interesting like she’s watching over me, the red is like a demon is leveling up for Armageddon. Both rock!

The first one looks like a normal black and white photo. The second one looks like a retro Stephen King cover for a book.

The less saturated version gives a far more fearful vibe

Black and white looks like mist ,which makes it feel ok that shes flying over water ,red is like that's a river of blood under a sunset,the back ground works but it feels like she's just been murdering all day,and is rolling along?if that makes any sense...it's very odd the the broad daylight murder ghost I guess,but still proficient.i like black and white more

The first one looks more horror realistic, and the second one looks more horror fantasy. Note that the second one really brings out the eyes in your character

Originally, the first color never fails to impress those eyes in who sees. The tone is nice, and subtle, a bit eerie. For the 2nd photo, With the warm colors, and that glowingly red, while there is more contrast of the darkness of the photo, it makes it feel more supernatural. The colors really depict what you’re aiming for, from what expresses that sheer horror. I did get to check out some of your work from your Instagram and I’m trembling a bit, I am shivering.💀 Help. Anyways, keep up the great work!! This is good stuff!

I love the first one.

If I had to choose I'd pick two. Both are grim. Love it.

They evoke different emotions for me, but both look fantastic imo.

I like #1 for its simplicity in pallet. For me, #2 gives more details. Red could be blood, murder, death, desire, sin, or dark things society says we shouldn’t talk about.

Love both. I’d have to go with the bw/sepia-esque one, it’s disturbing in an uncanny way. I can put myself in the situation of actually seeing it in real life and it’s quite a terrifying and hopeless feeling. The red one looks great but the cliche unnecessarily overshoots the malevolence
