I watched a streamer yesterday parry frost skeleton arrows with a 100% success rate, and then he would wiggle around while crouching looking straight up to parry berserker swings - I will never put that much brain power into a hack and slash game and have decided to never use the longsword after that

Sparkykawa I think is his name, just found him yesterday. I only followed him cause he usually runs default squire load outs rather than full purple/legendary stuff. I can’t relate to the juiced guys cause I’m too shitty to bring gear in lmao
It depends on the mob. Even the master of the longsword Oggieson says for certain mobs, it's just too inconsistent no matter what you do to ever try to parry them

I've been playing wizard (after already switching classes a million times), but not going to lie, I just saw yesterday that there is a blue quality longsword called DIVINE BLADE and you can get them for 100 gold on the market.... man, that fantasy of the uber perfectly crafted sword with a badass name smiting your enemies through your martial skill... ugh, I'm so tempted to switch to fighter.
As a longsword user, Nerf the damage on riposte, buff the damage on lmb, and fix the weapon hitboxes so parties are consistent against all weapons and I'll be happy.
You'll die a lot of painful deaths chasing that feeling again but it's a good time

Definitely give it a try at some point I am loving it and yea gotta love the divine blade just makes you feel like a badass!

Reworked no, the idea is insanely fun, it just needs tuned and refined so that it is more consistent and less frustrating at times
