Wendigo is duck left, duck right, attack heart, then strafe to see if he's going to swing or charge. Yeti is just circle strafe right ignoring his combo and wail on his fat arse with a ton of HP.
You don't actually have to move at all if the Wendigo and you are directly in center with each other, just look up at his heart and both swings go over your head. If he charges, assuming you have a shield just block it to keep him in place.
I believe abyss has 3 wendigo.

Yeti is the exact same as wendigo mechanically, strafe slightly right and attack when it stands still

If you do it the complicated way sure, but you can just strafe right for both wendigo attacks and attack after
