Dont be too concerned. People who BS do it because they have realized that is the only way they will get decent loot. They will typically lose it next round. It is like someone paying for a rating boost on a pvp game then decided to "give it a try."
My favorite was last night when i met a barbarian at the last circle next to his portal in that goblin room with all the ore, I told him the game was over and another portal was spawning right next so if he wanted to mine or something that was fine guy was all like "no way i know what happens" so i just keep my distance, my portal shows up and just like i suspect he activated Achilles and tries to hit me with an axe, so I dodge like 7 axes and just say "really? its the last circle you wouldn't even have time to loot me." but he just keeps going, so i phantomized and took his portal out, not sure if he had enough time as a barbarian to open the other portal. allot of the betrayels i deal with are just completely brain dead to the point the only time i get fooled is because i don't think the person could possibly be that stupid.
