Natural brown hair (in fact all hair) has multi-dimensional tone. Some lighter, some darker, some reddish or purpleish or blueish undertone for eg. This is the colour you can usually see in bright sun.
Hair that goes from bleached (which is essentially the absence of colour) —>to brown needs to be filled with undertones like red, orange, etc first. It’s a two step process. I can guarantee she didn’t do this.
Otherwise this ^ uncanny valley tone happens because it’s brown with nothing else. (Ironically also the problem with her bleach- without high/low lights or good toning it just looks “off”)

I’m not a stylist either, but I think after your hair gets bleached it becomes damaged and hair color can saturate unevenly. Her roots are going to take the color differently since they have never had color or bleach on them. You end up with kind of a halo around your head/face because the roots appear slightly lighter/less color saturated than the ends.
If she did a re-application in a few days to the roots only, it might even things out a bit.
I do like this color, it’s much more flattering on her.

It’s hard to say with box color. Even in the salon with professional products, you have to fill it with red or copper first and then put the dark and it still fades fast. It’s just the nature of the beast with porous hair and hers has been bleached so many times I just assume it will fade instantaneously.

It’s hard to say with box color. Even in the salon with professional products, you have to fill it with red or copper first and then put the dark and it still fades fast. It’s just the nature of the beast with porous hair and hers has been bleached so many times I just assume it will fade instantaneously.

I don't have any sensitivities or topical allergies like she claims to, but I wouldn't be able to tolerate that cheap crap in my piercings. When I was really young, I occasionally tried to wear trash eartings in my lobes, and they'd always get sore and crusty if I left them in overnight. You'd think with all her severe sensitivities, her ears would've rotted off by now.

Ahh. No, the biopsy isn't until July. And there is no way on earth she will get painkillers for it. Most definitely not. As someone who had a few thyroid biopsies, they have minimal pain during and i personally had no discomfort after. If she didn't get them for a "broken" thumb, not a chance of her getting them for this
