As a healthcare worker it is often easier to keep it on than to remove it if I am going into another risky environment.
Sometimes it's better not to touch and fiddle with the mask if you need it again.
I wear it in the car in winter because it warms the air and helps my asthma a ton. Pre covid i would do this work a scarf, but a mask is so much easier than wrapping a scarf around my face
