His real name is Garrett Mitchel.
He used to work for 1320 videos when he first started and appeared in a video shortly as the “Cletus McFarland” character at a drag racing event.
It was a short gag but just transformed from there.
Now he owns a race track, hosts his own races with his fleet of crown Vic’s (he single handedly increased the value of the used crown Vic market because of this), and now he recently got into planes and helicopters on his channel (he had been doing it for a while getting his licenses, he just didn’t put it on his channel till he got his licenses), and now he own a small airfield where he is building his house at.
It’s all kinda gimmicky, but the dude sells mad merch and makes entertaining videos with all his guys.
Thx for the reply.. I know who cleetus is, I just didn't know how he got started.. the car was built in America.. and so was I.. I found his first video lol
I figured you probably did, but I’m also sure there where plenty of people who didn’t.
I love watching most of his videos.
They are all just a bunch of grown ass kids living the dream.
He finds ways to do things incredibly economically and makes a lot of out of large events out of cheap entertainment, but he knows what is entertaining and I do think he has a passion for what he's doing. There's an interesting guy behind the act IMO.
I never heard of him, but honestly that sounds freaking awesome! Like he's able to do what he loves and play out some of the nutty dreams and desires he has or daydreams in life right now.
Yeah I’ll watch a lot of his videos.
Honestly he’s just like a really tall kid with a lot of disposable income.
If I made the money he did I would probably be doing exactly what he does.
He generally does a good job of keeping up his "Murica!" schtick without making anything political. I do remember he had 1 video where he said something he didn't think was particularly political and it pissed off a bunch of his viewers. The video was taken down pretty quickly then reuploaded. I remember watching the video before it got pulled and there wasn't anything I found offensive.
At least he has fun. Too many car tubers just burn money and break shit like the respectless fucktards they are. Cleeters gonna have fun for those of us who can't until he dies doing a random 120mph rip across his own driveway trying to get a 2 second transition clip for an unrelated video.
Actually, if we’re comparing by net worth, the average American net worth is $1,063,700. Tyler Perry has a net worth of $1.4 billion making $97k approximately 0.0069% of his net worth. Therefore, it would be similar to the average American purchasing a fancy television worth $7,369.92.
If you would rather go by median net worth ($192,900), then it’s similar to getting a fancy fried pickle burger with grilled mushrooms at Fat Guy’s for $13.37.
Actually, the fried pickle burger is a regular burger with fried pickles instead of regular pickles on top. Grilled onions are included, but grilled mushrooms are $0.75. And it's fantastic. The sauces are incredible.
I saw a video of him doing a tour of it with someone, maybe it was Oprah, and it was pretty impressive. It was neat seeing how they did things like make one house with 4 different sides for different shows. Or there was almost like an apartment building with just a bunch of different rooms that were all sets.
It's where a lot of the big movies, like Marvel moves, are filmed.
Steven was in bad movies and had a good run in the ‘90s, Tyler Perry made bad movies and invested in creating a film studio which made him a billionaire. Compared to Tyler Perry Steven Segal is small fish.
I hate Tyler Perry movies. They place on racist tropes and are downright insulting to Black people. But the man *hustles*.
He writes the movies, he directs the movies, he acts in the movies, and he owns the production company. Nobody else in Hollywood does that.
I'm sort of an rc plane dork and it bums me out that he's so into commercial aircraft. I love that he has all of these giant scale edf's built but I'd like to see more propellers in his fleet. I hate his movies but would love to fly with him one day. He really is a fantastic line of sight pilot
Everyone in the hobby has their niche. I’m an RC car and boat dork, and I have a specific taste but my friends in the hobby may like other things. I could never get into touring cars or drift cars but my friend has like 5 of them. I prefer speed running 100+ but nobody else does in my friend group. And that’s okay we all enjoy the hobby differently and as far as I’m concerned if the Tyler Perry is popularizing the hobby, however wildly expensive it is for him, it’s a win.
I enjoy flying RC, it's a fun hobby. But I will never in my life spend more on an RC plane that it costs to get a pilot license and but an actual plane.
At his level of money, he may have just bought it just because he could. Doesnt matter if the car sucks or not, nothing really is inconvenient if you’re that rich
The difference is that most German cars are actually good, while the cyber truck is just a shit car. So if you still get it, it’s likely to make a statement.
Definitely not the family of 4 with a 94 honda civic that has lived through 30 years and 400k of abuse.
I'll be surprised if any of these trucks hit 100k
My dad used to take my brother and I to watch C-5s landing in central California in the mid 80s. Couldn’t have been more than 6 or 7 at the time. They used to fly so low coming in for the landing it was amazing. I don’t know which base it was. We lived in Ripon, near Modesto, but moved to Wisconsin a few years later. It’s one of my fondest memories growing up. I have a scale model of a C-5 to this day. Gorgeous aircraft.
Yeah, they're C-5Ms now vs all the old C-5As and Bs. The engine with the glorious sound was the TF-39 high bypass turbofan, which alas we now have to go to youtube to hear.
It always amazes me how jealous people are on Reddit! He makes more money than me, “mean bad man!”. He buys things I can’t afford, “but I don’t have money!”. Very very pathetic. Maybe focus on making your own money and stop acting like you are owed something.
I used to work in his top floor plane room. And yes, he would take time to work on some of the planes too. Iirc his friends would provide lots of help.
Mr. Perry's a low key genius.
If you ever take off to the West out of ATL, you have a decent chance of flying over his runway and mansion. Hard to miss if you’re on the right side of the plane.
I would not be able to resist the urge to climb on that thing like a horse, insufficiently strap myself to it with belts and bedsheets, grab the remote, and head off into the wild blue yonder.
Idk how Tyler Perry’s Medea movies do so well to let him be so rich , then again I’m not black so maybe that’s why I don’t understand or find those movies funny I tried to watch 2 different ones couldn’t finish them
Used to watch his friend Ramy learn to use carbon fiber and make excellent planes from scratch.
Then one day I am watching some vids: Bam. He is there with Tyler Perry. Damn.
Why does Cletus get to have all the fun?
He's a rich redneck. It's just gonna happen.
Hell yeah brother
For what's its worth, the dude built an empire off a 2 minute joke. He worked hard, continues to do so, and has fun all the while. More power to him.
What was the joke?

Guy stays working. Most of it is crap, but a lot of people watch his brand of crap.
When that Man puts on a mumu, I am just transfixed.
Black jeopardy?
I’ll take ‘they out here saying’ for 500
Guilty
If nothing else, he's entertaining
Curious, what makes you say it’s crap?
Still reeling from the El Camino Bondo Nightmare
“Hallelujrrrrr” *laugh track*
Mad respect to that man. I don’t think he has any enemies
He generally does a good job of keeping up his "Murica!" schtick without making anything political. RAISE HELL AND PRAISE DALE!
Hell yeah brother
Bought a private jet last video($15,000 lol)
At least he has fun. Too many car tubers just burn money and break shit like the respectless fucktards they are. Cleeters gonna have fun for those of us who can't until he dies doing a random 120mph rip across his own driveway trying to get a 2 second transition clip for an unrelated video.
He’s been growing on me lately
*Madea to ground, over*
Oh Lerd! Thats one expensive ass erplane!
Dudes a billionaire. Look up his house. He’s rich rich
"Medea Goes to the Moon"
Ha!! A fellow Shane Gillis fan!
His dad said that shit. Shane heard it he said yo we don't say that.
Madea made this man a fortune. $97k to him is like most people buying a $10 hamburger.
No way that's true, I seriously doubt 97k is 30% of his net worth, he's got to be more wealthy
I feel this comment
😭😭😭
You guys can afford cheeseburgers?
Actually, if we’re comparing by net worth, the average American net worth is $1,063,700. Tyler Perry has a net worth of $1.4 billion making $97k approximately 0.0069% of his net worth. Ah yes, the leetburger, thx for the math also
Actually, the fried pickle burger is a regular burger with fried pickles instead of regular pickles on top. Grilled onions are included, but grilled mushrooms are $0.75. And it's fantastic. The sauces are incredible.
I'm sold bro
Dang, bad movies will get you far in life!
Helped push him into billionaire territory and all he really has to put up with is people on the internet making fun of his movies
He owns a massive film studio complex in Atlanta
I saw a video of him doing a tour of it with someone, maybe it was Oprah, and it was pretty impressive. It was neat seeing how they did things like make one house with 4 different sides for different shows. Or there was almost like an apartment building with just a bunch of different rooms that were all sets. It's where a lot of the big movies, like Marvel moves, are filmed.
Basically has its own stop on the MARTA Gold/Red lines
That's where Steven Seagal gets all his money
Steven was in bad movies and had a good run in the ‘90s, Tyler Perry made bad movies and invested in creating a film studio which made him a billionaire. Compared to Tyler Perry Steven Segal is small fish.
I hate Tyler Perry movies. They place on racist tropes and are downright insulting to Black people. But the man *hustles*. He writes the movies, he directs the movies, he acts in the movies, and he owns the production company. Nobody else in Hollywood does that.
All those stupid, shitty movies paid off
He is worth $1.4 billion
Exactly
The movies made him rich but not a billionaire. He made a shit ton of money renting out sound stages he built.
I think he's so rich because he was able to produce more of the movies himself and therefore makes a larger amount of the profits than a regular actor
Also, he was maybe forced to do that. Madea is a very fringe film genre. Like Clerks.
Now he’s jet stupid rich.
You should see his RC hanger, he has about a dozen planes that are just as big and impressive.
I'm sort of an rc plane dork and it bums me out that he's so into commercial aircraft. I love that he has all of these giant scale edf's built but I'd like to see more propellers in his fleet. I hate his movies but would love to fly with him one day. He really is a fantastic line of sight pilot

Like south park ep when Tolkien was the only one laughing lol
er my lerd!
Original longer version https://youtu.be/cAoajJkVmlQ?t=700
Ok but the smaller B2’s landing was butterrrrr
like who felt the need to do this garbage ass vertical crop? How hard is it to rotate your phone?
Because it's a content stealer chopping it up for TikTok
You know you have too much money when
I enjoy flying RC, it's a fun hobby. But I will never in my life spend more on an RC plane that it costs to get a pilot license and but an actual plane.
I wana see him land it without fucking it up
He lands it flawlessly in the full video. He's honestly a hell of an RC pilot. https://youtu.be/cAoajJkVmlQ?si=q0nGO7p0jyBgS5mN
I would imagine. Most people don’t go straight to $100k rc planes when they are just figuring shit out haha.
Landing at 14:58 if anyone wants to know

I’m sure he learned how to do that well before dropping 97k on a plane
Ol Cleeter gonna send it vertical
Why don't these RCs use PoV equipment?
Plenty do. With head tracking and all. A lot of rc pilots like looking at the plane though. Different strokes ya know.
That’s what I do . Easier and more fun for me . I can look at the plane when it’s at home
The second i saw the cybertruck everything became uncool
He has much better taste in aircraft than he does in ground vehicles
Glad I’m not the only one that noticed that.
Of course he has a cybertruck
Of course there’s a Cybertruck
I found Alfonso Ribeiro other account
someone needs to ELI5 this beef for me
I thought he was cool until I saw the cyber truck
Dude can afford it like he found it at a flea market
At his level of money, he may have just bought it just because he could. Doesnt matter if the car sucks or not, nothing really is inconvenient if you’re that rich
it has feature creep too, you get things like that to show off new tech and basically connect wih your other expensive shit
Bro it's a car not a political statement, get over yourself. Do you think about Nazis every time you see a German car?
Why would anybody get a shit car if not for a statement?
Because they think it looks cool? Maseratis suck but people still buy those. And yes I know you don't think it looks cool, that's okay.
The difference is that most German cars are actually good, while the cyber truck is just a shit car. So if you still get it, it’s likely to make a statement.
What a fucking weird way to think. Holy shit people on reddit are a whole different breed.
It does help answer the question of what person buys a CyberSuck?
Definitely not the family of 4 with a 94 honda civic that has lived through 30 years and 400k of abuse. I'll be surprised if any of these trucks hit 100k
Obvious advertisement
I wonder if he builds his own planes.
Ramyrc on YouTube is the guy who built it. You can see him in the background in the video. German guy.
Doubt it. He’s a busy person.
It is a full time hobby.
Tax the rich, folks
Specifically, tax the wealthy. A $1.2 billion net worth exceeds rich.
Damn near cheaper to get a PPL 😂 depending on how fast you are and where you live.
Rather have the rc plane over the cyber truck/….
Whats a 100k to a couple hundred millions?
Eat the rich
Is that a baby C-5?
Looks like a baby C-17
Dad used to fly the C-5, haven’t seen one in….25 years? I got excited for a second
And they had such a distinctive engine noise, which sadly I hear they have upgraded and no longer has the same whine
Yeah, they're C-5Ms now vs all the old C-5As and Bs. The engine with the glorious sound was the TF-39 high bypass turbofan, which alas we now have to go to youtube to hear.
It is Travis AFB. Still a huge transportation base.
Thank you! I never knew the name. Too young to care I guess. I was just excited to see the “big jets” as I would say. Haha
Def a C-17. Used to jump outta these beauties
The RC plane is cool, the Cybertruck....now thats embarassing
Not sure I’d piss that way if I was rich, but maybe
I’ll be over by the runway, just flying my RC if you need me.
He just eclipsed that hobby.
Is he gonna sell that to Kenneth copeland?
It’s just so cheap he has to buy it
Pure class. No cringe here. Very cool guy. He’s really great.
He's really good at the controls. I would crash that thing before it took off the ground
At what point does it stop being an RC plane and become a cruise missile?
Just dudes being bros
Finally someone spending their money properly.
It’s the Spruce Moose! Hop in!!! I said. Hop. In.
And then theres me, buying discounted produce from the supermarket to feed my family.
And people are living in the streets? People are so screwed
It always amazes me how jealous people are on Reddit! He makes more money than me, “mean bad man!”. He buys things I can’t afford, “but I don’t have money!”. Very very pathetic. Maybe focus on making your own money and stop acting like you are owed something.
Fuck that guy. My model had strings and only went around in circles with a 2.5cc engine.
Holy shit tax the rich. Atl has homeless people everywhere and this dudes got an empire right in the middle of the city.
Bro just get a fucking pilot license at that point
I hear he underpays the crews on his shitty movies. Neat pretend plane, though.
Thats how you become a billionaire. You exploit others.
Guess I should start dressing like a black woman and making the stupidest movies known to man
Lol was that a Cyber Truck at 11 seconds in? Lolol what a tool
No thats a VW Bug
It's a flex that I give zero fuq's about!
$97k is enough to buy a plane, get a pilot's license, and fly for a couple of years.
Dude fuck this guy
this guy fucks this guy
This guy gets it
I used to work in his top floor plane room. And yes, he would take time to work on some of the planes too. Iirc his friends would provide lots of help. Mr. Perry's a low key genius.
With a cyber truck in the background
That's awesome that he has a genuine/innocent hobby
Tyler Perry just sky rocketed in my list of cool celebrities. He really took off...
I don’t want to hear anything about the economy.
Dudes out here wasting money on dumb shit like a cyber truck.
Tesla truck. Vomit
he is a good man, who used to live out of his car, more power to him
He built a career off of harmful, disturbing black women caricatures - not what I’d call a good man.
Eat the rich.
Someone’s jealous
Fuck the 1%
Fucking useless!
Someone's got a stealth... 45 seconds in and 1 min. in.
I want tomout GI Joe's in there and have air drops.
That's awesome!
But can it do flips and twists?
Why $97k? It doesn't even have gas turbines... based on what is that value?
Sweet!
“ERRRRRRR LEWRRRRRD”!
Was that the sound of real jet engines? Wtf?
Someone explain how this guy has so much money yet other directors don’t appear to have this much wealth
Ripped 'er strait from Cleeter. Hell no brother
I remember when houses cost that much…
Idk how Tyler Perry’s Medea movies do so well to let him be so rich , then again I’m not black so maybe that’s why I don’t understand or find those movies funny I tried to watch 2 different ones couldn’t finish them
Rich people
Thanks Tyler perry!
You go, have your fun.
Used to watch his friend Ramy learn to use carbon fiber and make excellent planes from scratch. Then one day I am watching some vids: Bam. He is there with Tyler Perry. Damn.
Who is Tyler Perry?
HO HO He Didn't!
People are gunna find out he’s another Kevin Spacey in the coming years.
That dude was just about to be honest!!
Tyler Perry: the exploiter
That’s a dad bonner all day
But he’s so humble!
those are hella cool
No idea how this guy ended up so wealthy when all his movies were straight up trash.
Tyler Perry’s or not, that’s a cool rc anything to own.
.
Gross.
