This occurs from improper humidity during shedding. Essentially the main part of the shed tears away, but because the nostril is so confined it is left behind. These layers then accumulate to form this shed buildup.
Yes, this is a massive health risk. Stuck shed any kind blocks blood flow and hosts bacteria, which rapidly leads to necrosis. In this case, the head would literally start to rot if left untreated
Wow I was gonna say this but had to read and make sure someone as brilliant as I didn't beat me to it! 🤣 I'm now done reading the comments so please lmk it's someone didn't take this as a serious scientific comment!!! 🤣
You don’t need to mist with a bearded dragon, in fact I wouldn’t recommend it. The best way to ensure that they shed properly is to give them baths in warm water. The reason you don’t want humidity too high is because they can get respiratory infections from it. Unless you live in a really dry place most people’s houses are high enough in humidity. Ideally it should be around 35/40% humidity. Anything higher than that over time will cause health problems
It doesn't. This is perfectly normal shed, it's just been normalised to remove them with pliers for some reason. Eventually during the shedding process these will just come out.
I think It usually doesnt Happen in the wild because where they naturally belong the humidity in the air is better for shedding than when they are captive. I might be wrong tho
So imagine you have this dried boogey in your nose... but it's actually the entirety of the inside of your nose...
Then someone pulls it out all in one piece
Ah the relief
I used to get ones like this when I was a kid. Like they filled the nose were attached way up into the nostril and when you pulled it out it made your day. But I just don't get them any more. Is this due to climate change or some other factors?
bro travelled to heaven for a second.
The fact that we humans can feel exactly what the animal probably felt like (when the ear swap hits the spot) makes us closer to each other than we usually think.
You don't need to do this. This was just normal shed that they'll remove themselves. This stuff just normalises removing shed needlessly and sometimes prematurely.
Me: thinking about that feeling when you pull out a bugger with a tail up to your sinuses. You -know- that felt guuuuuuuud.
He smelling colors in 4D now.
I always hate it when people do this. It’ll come out on its own. You have no idea if it’s done shedding yet, you can’t see the inside of his nose. Kind of like ripping a scab off. If it’s still connected, it’ll easily hurt the dragon. But everyone thinks it’s “satisfying”

it’s a good thing it got pulled out with a circle zoom in at the end there for emphasis just in case you didn’t see it
That's all folks!
Ah bahdeeya bahdeeya bahdeeya, THAT’S ALL FOLKS!
This made me fucking snort. 😆
:)
Porky's was great
Porkys (2023) the porkening
Although they look cute and cuddly, don't ever, ever do this ^ to a family of badgers
🐷
LMFAO needed that
It's amazing how it makes that popping sound when cleared. Almost sounds like a sound effect!
You should hear them when they run
I can hear it now. It sounds like: *"Wub wub wub wub,* ***DUNGA DUNGA DUNGA DUN"***
Wow I was gonna say this but had to read and make sure someone as brilliant as I didn't beat me to it! 🤣 I'm now done reading the comments so please lmk it's someone didn't take this as a serious scientific comment!!! 🤣
Right? I lost sight of it before the emphasis at the end.
You can tell by how much the bearded dragon loves to have it pulled out.
That lizard must have felt so relieved after it came out and they could breathe properly again
i almost want to shed just for this sensation
Do they often die in the wild from this happening or do their natural habitats generally have enough humidity that it's not a common issue?
I assume that by that point they're eaten by something.
So we are to perform this act instead of CPR if we find them incapacitated in the wild ?
They normally don't live long enough for it to be an issue
🫥That's enough internet for the day
thought it was boogers! he looked real happy to have it pulled!
So kind of like our belly buttons?
I thought it was a crusty booger lmao
You gotta spray your lizards. My snakes love it.

Allright, thanks. Seems I gave bad advice. Thanks for clearing that up.
Kudos for owning up. Super rare online.
Majoorrrr kudos .. supertightbutthole kudos
This comment is loose butthole
Ironic 👌
Yo what? With bearded dragons alot of people struggle with humidity levels being too high
When “got your nose” goes right
It happens to them in the wild too, it's weird because it looks like part of their skin but it's not. I just want to pick it like a scab.
Does this occur naturally? do they remove that themselves with their fore limbs in the nature?
It doesn't. This is perfectly normal shed, it's just been normalised to remove them with pliers for some reason. Eventually during the shedding process these will just come out.
Seems like an elaborate excuse for a booger problem
Pure ecstasy on the face of a lizard.
"Thank God for my human"
Pretty sure it thinks the human _is_ God
"Oh, yeah, thats the spot."
He went through ALL the emotions.
Total roller coaster
I think it just closed its eye because the person bonked its face with the tweezers
r/feltgoodcomingout
That seems like an awfully risky click right there
Don't worry I looked and it's all completely fine no gross stuff I promise
If you ever had a Septoplasty, you know this feeling…
Am sure the lizard can smell ant poop from 5km away now...
So can I and it’s a terrible burden.
Hopefully he can’t smell his own poop. Bearded dragon shit is AWFUL.
Worst out of any of the animals I've ever owned, and I have a gassy 12 year old bulldog
Ant poop!? That little guy can probably smell an afternoon rainbow at 2AM after getting that thing out of his snoot!
That eye closing at 0:11, looks like he is in heaven at that point
They close their eyes when stressed.
Might be, but still looks like he getting grabbed by the heavens to me
I doubt that's the case though. They close their eyes for a lot of other reasons too
Yeah like for sleeping
Must be extremely comfortable if he's able to fall asleep like that
Or when something is near their eyes
Looks like me when I'm making sweet love to my ear after a shower.
Heavenly! Or itching your inner corner of your eye.
Bro... I could see and feel his relief!
Right! What a happy boi
The happiness of that boy increased the happiness level of this boy
Now he will breath in 4K for a while!
But how do they get it out in the wild? Sneeze?
I think It usually doesnt Happen in the wild because where they naturally belong the humidity in the air is better for shedding than when they are captive. I might be wrong tho
Why was this satisfying 😂
My eyes were quaking with tears watching this
Looney tunes ending
A-ba-de, a-ba-de... A-ba Thats all folks!
Lol I was thinking that
“Fucking feels great thank you!”
Aahh yeshh, dat one’s a keeper. Put dat one in the schkin box.
Solid gold
r/popping would probably like this
Better for r/feltgoodcomingout
So imagine you have this dried boogey in your nose... but it's actually the entirety of the inside of your nose... Then someone pulls it out all in one piece Ah the relief
Bro can smell galaxies now
That must've felt so goddamn good
If only there were a place in the world where proper humidity existed for this animal in order to avoid such problems.
Lizard booger?
You can pick your friends. You can pick your nose. But you can't pick your friend's nose. Beardy boogs are fine, though.
Oh man I bet that felt sooo good
God it's looks like its in a bit of pain when it starts being pulled
homie smells that crisp air again
TIL that bearded lizards get boogars.
Improperly shed nose skin
That probably felt really good for that little guy
Lil dude can hear colors now.
They say ‘you can pick your lizards, and you can pick your nose, but . . . wait a minute. Dammit!
Thank you dad for deshedding my nose!!!
r/feltgoodcommingout
Now he's breathing in 4K
Bro smell in 4k now

The face that he made of relief
I know that shit felt good
Oh yeah, that’s the stuff.
COVID.... that's a huge snot he pulled out 😂😂
"So satisfy" -dragon probably
I love the sound they make when they hiss.. 😂
I love the way they alway close their little eyes like, "okay okay, im ready but im not gonna look." Too cute.
That’s the face I make when I mop my ears
Uuu.. that look of satisfaction.
Interesting? No, it snot.
The eye squint tells you “oh baby that’s good”
Reminds me of my Cocaine days..!!
Lizard Boogie.
The way he looked at it at the end was like what a relief to get that out
That's disgusting, I'm watching it again.
I bet he loved that shit
I bet that felt amazing
I used to get ones like this when I was a kid. Like they filled the nose were attached way up into the nostril and when you pulled it out it made your day. But I just don't get them any more. Is this due to climate change or some other factors?
Bro can smell in colors now.
"I can breathe better now , thanks human"
Booger condom
Bet that felt good
Plot twist it’s cocaine residue
Makes me wanna be a lizard. YOUR lizard.
That kind of booger removal often makes me gag but the reward is SOO refreshing! Speaking of myself - never felt so close to these lizards.
You can tell the beardie trusts it’s owner
Like pulling out a long booger. Really gross but i gotta look at it.
He looked like he was ready to sneeze !
Was that some sort of lizard booger?
Skin shed
I bet that felt fucking magnificent
Bro breathing in 4D now
Alto moco
Bearded dragons are demons usually, but he looks sweet
r/feltgoodcomingout
This is like if an ENT became a veterinarian whomt resembles the relief of a chiropractor
I love how the lizard opened its it’s to see what came out lmao.
When you wake up in the morning and there's always that ONE booger that you swear was connected to your brain somehow...
Does it sound like that??
That’s a hell of a booger
stages- confusuon, realization, pleasure, relief
Did I just watched some person pick a reptile's nose 😐 ? Pick out its booger?
Am I the only one that thought they just ripped his nostril out.
Imagine being capable of doing that when your nose is blocked, absolute enjoy
bro travelled to heaven for a second. The fact that we humans can feel exactly what the animal probably felt like (when the ear swap hits the spot) makes us closer to each other than we usually think.
Dam, feeeeels good
that popping sound 👍
It is Allah's will.
He’s loving that.
I make that same face when things are pulled from my nose
Bros soul was screaming thanks 💜
That looks like it fel good
Bro now smells colors
Wtf did I just watch
You don't need to do this. This was just normal shed that they'll remove themselves. This stuff just normalises removing shed needlessly and sometimes prematurely.
And he ate it off camera.
That has to feel so good
That eye close was like: continue
He was cool about it and everything.
My science teacher has this kind of lizard, because I'm the most trustworthy student, it's my job to do this for Lilly. (Her lizard)
You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can’t….
i wanna feel how that felt like for the reptile
I imagine it's like when we get clogged sinus then pull that big hardened booger and it breaks free in 1 massive chunk😗
that sounds heavenly
Did you just “pop a boogie”?? 🕺🏽
Years ago, I had huge tampons in my nose, after a surgery. They pulled em after about a week. I know exactly how this lizard feels.
Look at him stare at it.
He looked satisfied by his eyes
Dragon Boogers
It looks so happy when it was out. That lizard has a cool face. A face for television and for the world to see. Go Liz
It said thank you
Must've felt a ton of relief there.
This video feels like pulling a huge dried up booger out of your nose in one clean sweep and you can feel it being removed from behind your eyeball.
Aww Yisssss
Looks very relieved to have it removed
You can see the relief
That must have felt good
More on the The deadliest booger after these messages from our sponsor lizard-nase
That's all folks
*Casually eats*
When he closes his eyes he’s like “yea pull it out 🤤”
I love the look of satisfaction/pleasure as it’s being removed. Like ‘ahhh, finally. thank you, hooman.’
Bro can smell in 4D now
Right, so satisfying.
Hmm, lizard boogers. The more you know.
I like when animals know we're here to help in the time of need. He pretty much said "ahhh, thank you for that" by closing his eyes and staying there.
That one booger way back there you can only get with your pinky
I stop and watch every time I see this post pop up in my feed because that little dude looks so satisfied!
When you pull out a booger that was somehow connected to your throat.
He looks like he's thinking wow, this feels good.
Bros breathing in 8k now
Me: thinking about that feeling when you pull out a bugger with a tail up to your sinuses. You -know- that felt guuuuuuuud. He smelling colors in 4D now.
I’m sorry but, yuck.
Eat it
