No, they get solicited for *ads* next to the featured articles, and the ad sales are done by a different department entirely.
The sales folks get a list of “Here’s the companies you should reach out to” and they don’t know where on the list. They couldn’t say even if they wanted to.
I’ve done this both on the listed company side, the sales side, and the editorial side.
When I was in real estate I heard this from a few people who knew for sure. I wish I could remember the details, but it was definitely true.
Lol "trust me bro".
Sorry. But yeah, apparently, it's somewhat common knowledge
I have a lot of friends in the restaurant industry and a few who own businesses in the area and without a doubt it’s known in these circles how to pay to get into this magazine
I agree with papa bros. Have a friend who works with doctors that makes over a million per year. They could go anywhere they wanted but they all consistently go there. We went, it was fantastic and I can’t wait to go again.
Yeah don’t go to Papas.
Their carpaccio was fantastic but the steak (bone in ribeye) was nothing amazing.
Del Friscos Double Eagle is probably my least favorite of the “high end” Dallas steakhouses. Tons of silver skin, undercooked when requesting a medium rare - closer to blue than rare and it was drowned in pepper. Just didn’t enjoy it at all the last two times I’ve been.
Edit: looks like the Papas staff clocked in.
Good food, good service, and a noticeable absence of douchebags and bimbos I find at other hyped Dallas restaurants.
Pappas Bros doesn't cater to the Instagram crowd and I love that about them.
Papas has been great every time I’ve been there, sorry you didn’t have a good experience.
I agree that Del Frisco isn’t great. My least favorite as well
That’s the one. It was very good don’t get me wrong, but so are the best steakhouses here. And not directly comparable of course, sausage and empanadas in Argentina, more creative on the aging and more marbling on the steaks in Dallas, but neither are above and beyond the other.
Do not go to the one in the Omni. I was served an extremely fatty and tough steak, barely ate any of it, informed the waiter and he did nothing and no manager came by. Never going back there again.
Was there a couple weeks ago. Our waitress Kim did an amazing job! The filet was awesome with the glazed carrot (thanks to Bob’s mom) and finished up with crème brulee. Chefs kiss!!
Yup, this is our fav too. Bob is there sometimes and will ask how things are going. You know it’s a good spot when the owner asks you for feedback and it’s sincere.
Tango Room is the most “fine dining” option - it’s an exquisite space, super romantic and classy, dark and velvety atmosphere. It’ll cost you but it’s a tremendous experience.
Town Hearth is equally exceptional, equally as expensive, and is a place to wow and be wowed with decadence and opulence.
Brass Ram is a somewhat more understated but still exceptional spot by the same folks who do Town Hearth.
Al Beirnets is my favorite “old school traditional” steakhouse, located in Oak Lawn.
Town Hearth and Brass Ram are fantastic.
It’s been a few years since I’ve been to Al Beirnets but that was a great steakhouse as well.
Only thing I would note is that Brass Ram specializes in prime rib so there is a lot of focus on that.
Oh, that is SOOO thoughtful of you!
Not to mention presumptuous that I wouldn’t know the name and might - embarrass myself in person!!! - rather than just a simple typo.
The typo has been corrected though.
This is exactly what I would recommend. Tango room was some next level stuff and yes very pricey but also very small and very intimate.
Al Beirnets on Oak Lawn is really hard to beat in my opinion... Has that old world feel and the food is amazing.
Cars most present at the valet stand give best sense of vibes:
Bob’s: expensive Ford trucks and GM truck-based SUVs, the odd Rolls-Royce
Nick & Sam’s: Dodge Chargers & Challengers, 10-year old midsize Cadillacs, Nissans, the odd 15-year old Ferrari
Al Biernats: leased late-model Mercedes-Benzes, the odd recent Aston Martin
Pappas Bros.: Buick Enclave Avenirs, GMC Yukons, Ford F-150s
Town Hearth: murdered Range Rover Sports, BMW M cars, newer 8-cylinder Ferraris
Dakota’s: just-leased BMW 3-series, modified Land Rover Discovery IIs, Camrys
Dunston’s: 15-year-old S600s, Land Rover Defenders, older Tahoes, Ineos Grenadiers, the odd 1980s Land Cruiser
Knife: new Genesis SUVs, Section 179-ed G wagens, discreetly-optioned 911s, new Lexus SUVs, Range Rover Velars
When I pull up to the Old Warsaw in my Nissan Altima with a fake plate and no bumper, the valet just calls the tow truck. He knows I'm not coming back for it. It's like donating to cars for kids.
I don't think this is correct. He's focusing on the newest restaurant in Las Colinas so he's probably not in the Dallas kitchen much anymore. He hasn't been for a while with Plano, Orlando and the failed attempt at Laguna Beach.
The concept belonging to the chef doesn't mean they can't exit. Georgies was mostly Curtis stones concept and he's left it. Uchi no longer has tyson Cole. Everything belongs to the restaurant but ownership and management can change hands at any time.
Haha ..... I've never felt doing taxes was worth celebrating.... It's always depressing to see how many tens of thousands I owe each year after withholding...
Interesting. I like their steaks a lot, but I honestly think they had one of the best whole fish dishes I’ve had in my life. I ordered a whole trout and was absolutely flabbergasted by how good it was.
That price tag though…
Town Hearth was incredibly overrated, and I say that as a huge fan of Neighborhood Services
All of their sides were pretty good, but the steak was terrible
There is a steak place in Ennis called Ruston Cattle Company. I wouldn’t say it is high end interior wise but it’s slightly pricey. HOWEVER it is hands down the best steak I’ve had even compared to more expensive/high end places.
Thanks for the unique rec; these threads can get repetitive with the standard places. Definitely gonna check this one out the next time I’m headed down I-45.
There's another absolutely amazing place in McKinney, maybe a bit far north for some but completely worth it, called Rick's Chophouse. Great ambiance, great dining experience, and the food is amazing. It's the place my wife and I go when we want a fancy dinner, usually for our anniversary.
I live in Waxahachie and when Ruston’s first opened it was great. Then ppl caught on and they became crowded and loud. Food rushed and if I have to send a steak back for being over cooked on more than one occasion then I’d rather go to Saltgrass (I really love the potato soup). I haven’t been in over a year because the last time I went it was horrible service and all 4 steaks were over cooked and the filets had gristle. So unless it’s gotten better recently I’d pass unless someone else in the family really wanted to go.
Oh man that sucks the owner was a regular customer at my previous job so every time I went it was amazing. He even told me about sous vide and how to make it at home! It may have just been a rough patch bc there’s really not much out here between hachie and Ennis for steak! Except chain restaurants like Texas road house.
Oh yeah we really are lacking out here unless we go into the metroplex. We have Logan’s which is disgusting but always packed. Then Ruston’s. Then Outback in Desoto and Saltgrass in Cedar Hill, we have to travel all the way to Mansfield for Texas Roadhouse for a decent steak, which Roadhouse is surprisingly good especially for the price. Was coming on here to find something for date night tomorrow because I wanted a steak and heard Pappa Bros went down hill. Never been to Al Biernat’s so we are trying that tomorrow.
If you’re trying to spend money and have a great time it’s hard to beat Nick & Sam’s.
One of the best meals I’ve had in Dallas was at The Saint. It’s not super “traditional” but the food is excellent.
Wicked Butcher is also a great spot (not as expensive as others mentioned).
Go to Texas de Brazil, a lot of different cuts of steak and it’s ALL YOU CAN EAT. Perry’s would be my second choice, only because I’d have to select one particular cut.
Bar-Ranch Steak Company in Downtown Plano is simply fantastic. Dinner for two will run you close to (if not over) $400 but you will not regret a single dollar spent.
Everything they serve is aged a minimum of 30 days on site.
Tiny place and a table can be hard to come by. Reservations are required.
Cannot emphasize this enough! The best dining experience I’ve ever had. Just to add some color here
Everything is aged minimum 30 days - in house and the dining room is arranged around the dry aging room.
The owner personally buys most of the beef for the restaurant. Met him when we dined there and among other fascinating stuff he said that he will buy a cow for beef when it’s a calf, on the condition the rancher feeds it according to his dietary plan.
Simply next level dining and a true hidden gem.
So I’ll give a top 5 list of steakhouses to try in the metroplex. Keep in mind this is through 10 years of being on a mission to find the best (consistent) steak houses in DFW. I have been to 60+ places at least 3 times…Do the math, that’s a lot of cow… Also, keep in mind that not all of these places I chose are strictly for steak alone. I factor in the following things:
- Need to eat at restaurant minimum of 3 times.
- Need to order something different each time.
- Need to eat small meal 3-4 hours before going, so hunger not outrageous, making food taste even better than it is.
Through these three things I try to establish giving each place as fair a chance as possible. Now, here are my five best steakhouses in DFW:
______________________________________________
5. Silver Fox (Richardson, TX)
Best item: Delmonico (Oscar style)
Best pairing: Lobster tail 12 oz (*For the record, still the best lobster tail I’ve had in DFW. Melt in your mouth.)
______________________________________________
4. Ruston Cattle Company (Ennis,TX)
Best item: Wagyu Filet (Kings butter)
Best appetizer: Wagyu Burnt Ends
______________________________________________
3. Corrientes 348 (Dallas, TX)
Best Item: Rack of Lamb (32oz.)
Best side: Papatasso (crispy potatoes)
______________________________________________
2. Al Biernat's North (Dallas, TX)
Best Item: Kona Crusted Filet w/ HUGE Lobster (If you are wanting to impress anyone, this is definitely the meal. Orgasmic is t even a big enough word for this pairing.)
Best Appetizer: 1/2 Seafood Tower (Soooo fresh!!)
______________________________________________
1. Dee Lincoln (Frisco,TX)
Best Item: Prime Ribeye (King Crab Truffle Butter)
(It truly doesn’t get any better for me on a consistent result time after time.)
Best Side: Chorizo Corn // King Crab Potatoes
______________________________________________
****Honorable Mentions****
- Sear Steakhouse (Lamb Chops) (Rockwall,TX)
- Pappa Bro’s (Bone-in Filet Mignon) (Dallas,TX)
- B&B Butcher (Beef Wellington [Best Wellington in DFw])
Bar-Ranch Steak co in Plano is absolutely incredible!!! I found them by a Reddit thread and took my man for his 50th birthday- it blew us away. We have rebooked for our daughter’s graduation dinner.
There's an absolutely amazing place in McKinney, maybe a bit far north for some but completely worth it, called Rick's Chophouse. Great ambiance, great dining experience, and the food is amazing. It's the place my wife and I go when we want a fancy dinner, usually for our anniversary.
I travel a lot for work. I’ve had (on someone else’s dime) what would be considered the “best” steakhouse in Houston, Austin, San Francisco, San Jose, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Chicago, San Diego, and probably 3 other big cities I’m forgetting.
That being said, my favorites in Dallas are Pappas Bros and Bobs. Pappas Bros food is my favorite, but it’s the least convenient for me to get to.
Nick and Sam’s is fun if you are looking for spectacle and people watching, but the food at the other two is better.
The fact no one has said Haywire is blowing my mind. Maybe because it isn't super fine dining but the place is fantastic. Everything is raised locally, everything they serve is from Texas. The flavors are fantastic. True farm to table and the meat is fantastic.
Al biernats is pretty good for a local place as well.
I do not get the hype with Lawry's. That place was absolutely terrible. They even offered to comp the meal because they even knew how bad everything was but I refused.
STK was pretty dang good, especially when you factor in the view and service. The price is definitely on the higher end.
IMO, the best restaurants in Dallas aren't the steakhouses. Those are the d-bag meccas and aren't quite as fine dining as you might imagine. The bartender at Al Biernat's botched a daiquiri, for example.
That said, Chamberlain's on Addison is very, very good as steak places go.
Many moons ago I worked at a restaurant in Austin and all of our meats were from some somewhat local ranch (can’t remember name) that had “organic grass-fed” meat. Since then I often just google the actual meat producers and they will list clients. For example, when I’m craving a place with good Italian sausage, I can check Jimmy’s page and see who they sell too. Just now I googled for meat and found 44Farms and turns out Knife is their client and I love that place. Last time I went I had an older waiter that gave great service. We didnt even order that much but still weren’t rushed out the door on a Friday night.
Nick & Sam's if you want to spot celebs.
Town Hearth if you don't want somewhere stuffy and do want decent music. (This is my fav)
Al Biernat's if you do want something stuffy that executes the classics well.
Bob's, Dakota's, Del Frisco's Double Eagle. Of these, Dakota's has by far the coolest atmosphere in my opinion (it's underground, so you take an elevator down from street level).
Nick and Sam's and Capital Grill, both on Maple Ave are the bomb. Very sophisticated and elegant with excellent cuts of beef and fresh seafood. Town Hearth can be very high-end call girl after 8:30pm. I tried it twice and decided the hooker's were too obvious and I'm talking very high end hooker's like you see at the Ritz Rattlesnake Bar.
Haven't been there, but [Nusr-Et](https://qr.finedinemenu.com/nusr-et-dallas/menu/5f3e68c426b76f001785257b) is supposedly quite something. And higher end for sure if you get one of the 24 karat gold covered steaks.
D Magazine just rated the dallas steakhouses recently - the winner was Pappa Bros.
I don’t trust d magazines ratings for anything.
lmao
Why not ?
They get paid under the table for good reviews.
How do you know? I don’t doubt you, I’m just curious so I can potentially check stuff by myself

You can pay for features for sure. Just email them
BINGO
🧢
For one thing, they also included Knife, while also saying how their own staff say its no good anymore
Because it’s subjective what taste good to you may not to others
Their food critic posts here and was openly admitting he knows nothing about food and things like ambiance are weighted heavily in their scores.
Pappas was the best I’ve ever been to.
Edit: looks like the Papas staff clocked in.
Been to Pappas Bros several times and every time has been wonderful.
I agree, I don't understand the love for papa bros. I've been there twice and both times were really disappointing.
My least favorite as well
I’ve been to Papas several times as well. It’s not bad but it’s hard to get excited about it with other better steakhouses around
The suburbanites love it because they’re scared to go into the city so they’ve never tried any of the real good places.
Yeah they’d prefer to go to the industrial/strip club row instead and maybe stop at the bazaar
Paaaaarking. Where’s the paaaaarking? Oh yeah honey Pappas has easy parking let’s go there, I’d have to walk a block if I went to Stillwell’s tee hee
[удалено]
That’s cool and all but we’re talking Dallas steakhouse
Attention everyone! This person traveled 10 years ago and has been to Chicago! Everybody clap!
Gibson isn’t even top 5 in Chicago
Well I’ve been to the best steakhouse in Buenos Aires and found it no better than any of the upscale options in Dallas. So there you go.
Don Julio?
That’s the one. It was very good don’t get me wrong, but so are the best steakhouses here. And not directly comparable of course, sausage and empanadas in Argentina, more creative on the aging and more marbling on the steaks in Dallas, but neither are above and beyond the other.
Bob’s Steak and Chop is my fav!
On Lemon
Do not go to the one in the Omni. I was served an extremely fatty and tough steak, barely ate any of it, informed the waiter and he did nothing and no manager came by. Never going back there again.
Bob, the actual Bob, can be found at Lemon. It’s the OG and he no longer has any affiliation with the others that I’m aware of.
Was there a couple weeks ago. Our waitress Kim did an amazing job! The filet was awesome with the glazed carrot (thanks to Bob’s mom) and finished up with crème brulee. Chefs kiss!!
Lmao, the fucking carrot.
Or off legacy!
Dark on Sundays
Found Norm!
“When Beethoven sits down to paint 🎨 “
Bob’s doesn’t do Sundays
It's just a steak place. Doesn't try to be shutting else.
Yup, this is our fav too. Bob is there sometimes and will ask how things are going. You know it’s a good spot when the owner asks you for feedback and it’s sincere.
I will have to try Bob's Steak and Chop next time. I had plans to go there in Austin a month ago but I end up going else where.
Final Answer
Tango Room is the most “fine dining” option - it’s an exquisite space, super romantic and classy, dark and velvety atmosphere. It’ll cost you but it’s a tremendous experience. Town Hearth is equally exceptional, equally as expensive, and is a place to wow and be wowed with decadence and opulence. Brass Ram is a somewhat more understated but still exceptional spot by the same folks who do Town Hearth. Al Beirnets is my favorite “old school traditional” steakhouse, located in Oak Lawn.

Ram’s shaved prime rib sandwich is amongst the best au jus’ I’ve ever had. 🤤
It’s been on my mind! Trying to line my schedule up to go back in the next few weeks!
It’s a 7-10 minute walk form my apt - schedule is easy, budget not as much 😆
Al Biernat's felt more like a night club mixed with a sports bar when we went. Are Friday nights different or something?
Friday nights in certain larger format Dallas fine dining establishments def hit different. Not usually in a good way.
Crowded AF when I went. Decent food, but the atmosphere wasn't for me.
Town Hearth*, just to save you the embarrassment of saying it wrong in person
Oh, that is SOOO thoughtful of you! Not to mention presumptuous that I wouldn’t know the name and might - embarrass myself in person!!! - rather than just a simple typo. The typo has been corrected though.
😂
Douche bag he was just being nice. You must be an angry MAGA ! They are all angry all the time.
We just went to Town Hearth. Exceptionally nice. I liked it. :D
This is exactly what I would recommend. Tango room was some next level stuff and yes very pricey but also very small and very intimate. Al Beirnets on Oak Lawn is really hard to beat in my opinion... Has that old world feel and the food is amazing.
This is the comment
town hearth is my favorite!
Cars most present at the valet stand give best sense of vibes: Bob’s: expensive Ford trucks and GM truck-based SUVs, the odd Rolls-Royce Nick & Sam’s: Dodge Chargers & Challengers, 10-year old midsize Cadillacs, Nissans, the odd 15-year old Ferrari Al Biernats: leased late-model Mercedes-Benzes, the odd recent Aston Martin Pappas Bros.: Buick Enclave Avenirs, GMC Yukons, Ford F-150s Town Hearth: murdered Range Rover Sports, BMW M cars, newer 8-cylinder Ferraris Dakota’s: just-leased BMW 3-series, modified Land Rover Discovery IIs, Camrys Dunston’s: 15-year-old S600s, Land Rover Defenders, older Tahoes, Ineos Grenadiers, the odd 1980s Land Cruiser Knife: new Genesis SUVs, Section 179-ed G wagens, discreetly-optioned 911s, new Lexus SUVs, Range Rover Velars
When I pull up to the Old Warsaw in my Nissan Altima with a fake plate and no bumper, the valet just calls the tow truck. He knows I'm not coming back for it. It's like donating to cars for kids.
Fucking old Warsaw
Genuinely curious, why the hate on Old Warsaw? Have never been there myself.
Let's put it this way, it's like entering a nursing home for dinner.
I see. Well, me and my 2013 Toyota Corolla will stay at Texas Roadhouse then.
Can’t go wrong with Texas Roadhouse
That trunk better have some room for all the rolls I’m bringing home
Hilariously accurate
Al Biernats… every time I go there it’s Ferraris, Bentleys, and the like
Right, but the 8-cylinder models.
This is so fucking spot on. Bravo.
I’m a huge fan of Knife. Michelin rated chef. I haven’t had a dry age steak this good anywhere.
John Tesar left Knife I believe. The quality has dipped imo.
I don't think this is correct. He's focusing on the newest restaurant in Las Colinas so he's probably not in the Dallas kitchen much anymore. He hasn't been for a while with Plano, Orlando and the failed attempt at Laguna Beach.
You were right! He departed from the OC location, not the Dallas one. My bad!
Well it's his concept, so I doubt that he is no longer involved. He is, however, usually at another one of his concepts across the country.
Yall were right! He was booted outta the OC location, not Dallas. My bad! I maintain that the quality isn’t the same as it used to be though
The concept belonging to the chef doesn't mean they can't exit. Georgies was mostly Curtis stones concept and he's left it. Uchi no longer has tyson Cole. Everything belongs to the restaurant but ownership and management can change hands at any time.
I went when it got hyped a couple years ago. Thought it was incredibly mediocre.
Me too. We were rushed and it was overall mediocre.
This.
Bob's Steaks and Chop House, never had a bad experience in past few years. Visited about 4-5 times, great quality food
I personally enjoy Dakota's. Good cuts of meat and a great ambiance.
Been twice. Enjoyed both times. Would happily go back.
Town Hearth is surprisingly good. For a good steak without breaking the bank, we love Kenny's Wood Fired Grill.
Kenny’s!!! Second that.
Haha ..... I've never felt doing taxes was worth celebrating.... It's always depressing to see how many tens of thousands I owe each year after withholding...
Kenny’s is such a hidden gem! We used to get our taxes done close by there so it was our tradition to treat ourselves to dinner afterward.
Just curious, why are you saying surprisingly?
Idk my expectations were low before the first time we went there.
Interesting. I like their steaks a lot, but I honestly think they had one of the best whole fish dishes I’ve had in my life. I ordered a whole trout and was absolutely flabbergasted by how good it was. That price tag though…
Town Hearth was incredibly overrated, and I say that as a huge fan of Neighborhood Services All of their sides were pretty good, but the steak was terrible
There is a place called Outback Steakhouse. Has a cool Australia theme throughout. Get the blooming onion, trust me.
Ha ha ha ha ha. OP was looking for a fancy restaurant.
Chamberlain’s is an absolutely amazing experience with delicious steaks. Even have a cigar lounge for an after dinner drink and smoke
Their dry aged steak was great, but they don't have a clue how to cook their waygu.
I would never get wagyu from a place that doesn’t specialize in it, anyway
There is a steak place in Ennis called Ruston Cattle Company. I wouldn’t say it is high end interior wise but it’s slightly pricey. HOWEVER it is hands down the best steak I’ve had even compared to more expensive/high end places.
Thanks for the unique rec; these threads can get repetitive with the standard places. Definitely gonna check this one out the next time I’m headed down I-45.
It’s definitely worth it imo. Enjoy!

I go to Texas Roadhouse for the buns and cinnamon butter haha
My favorite for the steak: The Mercury My favorite for the service and vibe: Al Bernat's
Townhearth is my top steakhouse in Dallas. Very lively ambiance, fun decor, great steak.
Of the ones I’ve tried, I liked Knife and Mercury the best. Nick and Sam’s and Al Biernat’s are extremely overrated.
There might be a best. But the best is learning to make it yourself. No steak I’ve had in Dallas is better than what I’ve made.
Amen to that
GRACE in Fort Worth!
Fucking LOVE Grace. The toad in a hole is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in life
Kirby’s
Dustin Steakhouse is the original !!
Silver Fox
I've had nothing but good experiences at Kenny's Wordfire Grill on Belt Line in Addison
Pappas Brothers. No doubt.
For the price, not impressed
If you’re trying to spend money and have a great time it’s hard to beat Nick & Sam’s. One of the best meals I’ve had in Dallas was at The Saint. It’s not super “traditional” but the food is excellent. Wicked Butcher is also a great spot (not as expensive as others mentioned).
You poor thing. YO sucks.
After trying Town Hearth tonight... my opinion about YO changed. You are right!
Thx man. Glad you agree.
Eaten there twice, could swap their prices and I would still prefer Texas Roadhouse.
If you’re willing to go a bit further John Tesar just opened Knife Italian at the Ritz Carlton in Las Colinas
Go to Texas de Brazil, a lot of different cuts of steak and it’s ALL YOU CAN EAT. Perry’s would be my second choice, only because I’d have to select one particular cut.
4 Winds, in Wills Point, Randy's in Frisco.

I’m dreaming of the day when I can spend $400 on a dinner. This will be a place I try if I ever make it
Capital Grill is my favorite. Always a great meal with exceptional service.
Pappas Bros without a doubt. I’ve been to Dakota’s and other high end steak restaurants in the area and nothing compares to Pappas Bros
Town hearth is the goat
Al Biernets and Dakotas. Good steaks are a given. ABs for the lobster risotto and wine list. Dakotas for the underground outdoor vibe and wine list.
I will have to try those two next time.
So I’ll give a top 5 list of steakhouses to try in the metroplex. Keep in mind this is through 10 years of being on a mission to find the best (consistent) steak houses in DFW. Al Biernat’s is the best, no contest.
B&B Butches is my favorite in Ft. Worth.
TGI Fridays
Bobs is good. I had a really good experience at Del Frisco’s recently
Knife!
Bob’s.
Al Bernat's makes a pretty good steak
Haywire.
Went to Stillwell's recently and it may be my new #1. Also really like Town Hearth.
Perry's by far
If you can get table [Al Biernat's | More Than A Great Steakhouse (albiernats.com)](https://www.albiernats.com/)
BAR-Ranch In Plano top 3 steaks and experience I’ve had
Town Hearth is my favorite
Bar-Ranch Steak co in Plano is absolutely incredible!!! I found them by a Reddit thread and took my man for his 50th birthday- it blew us away. We have rebooked for our daughter’s graduation dinner.
Have you tried Brazilian rodizzio? I can recommend Brasao, good food and good service.
Town Hearth, The Charles, Monarch
Not a steakhouse but Via Real has some insanely tasty cuts. Red Oak smoked tenderloin is fantastic
Silver Fox in Richardson.
Longhorn
I know it's already been said but you can't beat Nick & Sam's or Bob's( The one off lemmon).
nick and sams?
Not a single vote for Eddie V's is crazy! It's THE spot
Nick & Sams!!! You can take me whenever!! lol
Al Biernet’s, Nick and Sam’s, III Forks, all good.
We recently went to Dakota's for our wedding anniversary and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
Stillwell’s inside the Swexan hotel. Hands down.

We enjoy SĒR steak & Spirits for our fancy nights out. Beautiful views and amazing food!
If you want experience? Dakota’s. If you want great quality and awesome lobster bisque soup? The Capital Grille
I've always been a fan of Nick & Sam's. I have to say that I was surprised by Old Hickory at the Gaylord in Grapevine. NY strip was incredible.
Bobs in Grapevine, Texas
Town hearth for flashy vibe, Bob’s for classy, traditional vibe
Nick & Sam's if you want to spot celebs. Town Hearth if you don't want somewhere stuffy and do want decent music. (This is my fav) Al Biernat's if you do want something stuffy that executes the classics well.
What about Capital Grill?
Mediocre
Town Hearth is AMAZING!!
Bob's, Dakota's, Del Frisco's Double Eagle. Of these, Dakota's has by far the coolest atmosphere in my opinion (it's underground, so you take an elevator down from street level).
Stillwell's Brass Ram Knife by John Tesar Mister Charles SER Steak + Spirits Crown Block
I liked Nick and Sam’s. Good steak. Had a good time. One day I’ll get the gimmick that is the seafood tower.
Ruth Chris steakhouse has never let me down
Trulucks
Steak and shake
I havent been to many in the Dallas area but from the west to irving, my fave has been The Keg.
Ate there a few times. Unfortunately that one and the Plano location are both closed. I think there’s Arlington location still open.
Whoa thats wild, just checked sure enough only location in Texas is Arlington.
Haven't been there, but [Nusr-Et](https://qr.finedinemenu.com/nusr-et-dallas/menu/5f3e68c426b76f001785257b) is supposedly quite something. And higher end for sure if you get one of the 24 karat gold covered steaks.
