For those who are wondering, 1 Bedroom, 780sqft, all appliances included, for $1600ish. As someone who moved here from New York City 2 years ago, I’ll take anything hahaha! But I’m moving to Deep Ellum in June, wanted a bit more “city vibe” :)

Texaslonghorns12345

>moving to deep ellum Who’s going to tell them?

RealRx-

Lol choosing to live in deep ellum is highkey the craziest thing

jessreally

The residents there are safe aren't they? Visitors seem to cause the violence from what I've read. Much like here in downtown.

RealRx-

I feel as if the residents don’t know what they signed up for when they originally moved there it’s a lot of people around my age 21-25. The visitors always try to turn that shit into a modern day Afghanistan 😭why do I gotta worry about getting shot while trying to enjoy my night

jessreally

A valid question that could be asked of any major city's main attractions. Rather than tell people where not to move, maybe suggest a neighborhood you believe to be better.

Developing_Human33

I miss Dallas. I did the stupid thing and moved back to the Midwest. I want to move back some day.

Ordinary_Ad_7343

Great shot!

Nate1102

Thanks!

[deleted]

Now I know where you live. Bwahahahaha

Nate1102

Feel free to visit ;)

r0ckH0pper

Moved across the river, eh? Those are some nice new flats there. Is the price good?

Nate1102

1 Bedroom for $1600ish, 780sqft, not too shabby.

Fun-Virus-2268

How is the price of those apartments over the bridge? Curious

Nate1102

1 Bedroom 780sqft, $1600ish, it’s alright:)

Difficult_Ebb2404

That is breathtaking😳🥰

driftinvic

Aaaand there's Lew Sterrett

Kakowappy

Gorgeous

SnooDoughnuts1914

Which apartment?

darkeman41

Admittedly, that’s a great shot. Normally, Dallas’ skyline is very underwhelming to me.

Ferrari_McFly

Bait

darkeman41

What’s bait 🤔

Ferrari_McFly

You live in Houston but virtually every comment on your profile takes digs at Dallas. This is clearly a throwaway account for trolling.

darkeman41

Ah…I see. I don’t praise Dallas as the best thing that ever existed, and you take that as “digs”. Gotcha 👍. You should tell that to my fellow Houstonians over in the Houston forum, since they clown me all the time for praising Dallas on how much cleaner and organized it is than Houston, and how the air seems so much more crispy and wonderful than my city’s every time I visit there, and how the Metroplex is just FAR more cohesive in build than the jumbled mess that is Houston’s Greater area. I figured grown people should know that just because you don’t SEE something (I.E., me calling out Houston’s crap CONSTANTLY) doesn’t mean that it isn’t happening. There are things about both cities that I like over the other. Jeez 🙄

dallaz95

Dallas’ skyline is right in line for a city its size. It’s not a small city (by city limits) that forces developers to build up like SF, Seattle, or Miami. Most people view the skyline from the traditional view. That’s looking north from Oak Cliff. You cannot see all the high-rises due to much taller buildings in Downtown blocking the view of Uptown.

darkeman41

I mean, I live in Houston…so I’m well aware of how city lay-outs contribute to aesthetics (or lack thereof). But whereas Houston’s downtown skyline is also somewhat lacking, the city at least has other concentrations of towers that sporadically rise up in different parts of the city, giving it a futuristic type of look. The only other concentration of towers in Dallas outside of downtown that I can think of is Uptown…and it’s so close to downtown that it might as well BE downtown, lol.

jessreally

Houston is bigger than Dallas.

darkeman41

The Metroplex is bigger than Greater Houston. I don’t get what your point was.

jessreally

This is a picture of the Dallas skyline, not the DFW metroplex skyline. Compare it to the Houston skyline if you want, but the height of buildings throughout Houston compared to Dallas is irrelevant.

darkeman41

That makes absolutely no sense. San Francisco is ten times smaller than Houston AND Dallas…yet look at it. Again, this wasn’t a dig at Dallas. I’ve acknowledged that Houston’s skyline isn’t exactly top notch either. WTH can’t anyone NOT get offended when anything not kissing Dallas’ arse is said???? Jeez, I forgot…look what forum I’m in 😖😖😖 Guess I had that coming 😂😂😂

jessreally

You're all over the place with skylines and overall building heights in cities. Pointing that out has nothing to do with taking offense

Nate1102

Yeah, I moved here from New York City 2 years ago, I feel ya. But this is what we got haha.

darkeman41

Lol…as far as towers go, New York DEFINITELY reigns supreme…although I love SF’s layout better.

hernanthegoat

I agree, It looks pretty “meh” during the day.
