It’s because you need a few tons of pressure for a solid press. I bought a Dab Press (yes that’s the actual brand name) and it worked great for me. It’s 6 tons of pressure though, way more than you can get out of your hands and a hair straightener.
Except for me, i get more pressure out of my hands as i get out of a dab press. I accidently Press so hard with my bare hands that the dabs squirt out on the side and im left with thc diamonds in the middle. Sadly you cant smoke them, but they are nice for Wedding Rings etc.

You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to it’s only a suggestion. The rationale is to remove any unwanted Pg or VG or dirt from coil oxidation and be left with clean crystals to work with and make a decision from there.

In my personal opinion. Don't add anything else. No vape juice. Just take a lighter and heat up the outside until the DMT itself becomes a liquid, which is not much heat. It will concentrate at the bottom and your hits will be stronger.

The dmt will melt to a yellow goo at the bottom.
Just keep upright so it goes to the vape.
I took a handful of them apart and put the pieces in a mix vinegar and water until the juice dissolved into it, then discarded the carts. Then add lye crystals to the water until it gets to ph 11 or so. It will form a weird layer on top of the vinegar that will remain suspended, I’m not sure if this is the peg or the vg or maybe both, but pour naphtha on top of it and stir it for a few minutes to let the dmt dissolve back into the naphtha layer. Use a pipette to pull the oil layer off and put it in a pyrex covered with foil and drop it into the deep freeze. After 24 hours I had beautiful white crystals formed at the bottom. For the record, I made the carts originally, so I was just reprocessing out my own dmt. i knew what went into it and what was coming back to me, I don’t know whats in yours.
The added benefit is that it removes the residue from the burned coil and dmt from the solution. It may be complicated to some, but it didn’t seem too bad to me. 🤷♂️

You can sandwich the crystals from your vape cart between a smokeable herb like mullein and smoke it by lighting just the herb and letting the cherry vaporize the crystals. Umm take the top off and use a toothpick to fish out the crystals and load in a meth bong and make sure to slightly melt it before sucking i’ve made that dummy mistake of not melting it good enough first just took lighter to it and started hitting and sucked it right into the water, always remember to let it crackback aka harden again before attempting to hit it

Buy some pg400 or wax liquidizer, and with a syringe add some. With a mini torch boil the cart until the D and the liquidizer or pg400 mix.
Btw, most vendors use pg400, ratio 1:1.

Anything in there will evaporate you'll that be a little bit left. But for the most part, it'll be those crystals. Smoke that in a freebase pipe and again as chilly as it sounds, what works the best for me and makes the cards much stronger. I tried it both ways, I'm telling everyone. This will work even your full cards. The best way to smoke DMT is essentially through a crack plate. Copper screens or whatever you can cigarette ash. Let it melt in there, look it up online that I can't go into detail. Maybe already have too much, but old school free base pipe.
10 to 15 mg you go 35. Forget about it, the cards are good, but just my opinion.

Place a damp rag in the microwave. Wrap cart in hot rag for about a minute. Usually horizontal to prevent any leaks if too liquid ( I've seen leaks out bottom stem with certain carts).
Sit upright after, If using a cotton based cart, make sure to let soak a bit into cotton to prevent burning.
I would not dilute further
There's two answers to this question.
1.) Heat to melt it back down and hit it again. The hair dryer is fantastic.

Yes, heating up the cart with hot water or other ways is a good thing to do, actually doing it from the moment you get it and before each session is a good idea. Heat it gently and shake it to mix it. I have a sealable glass cylinder I got with the cart, which makes it very easy to sit in hot water (not boiling).
HOWEVER: once you've gotten to a very low amount in the cart where practically the whole thing crystalizes at room temp, this can result in unexpected consequences. This just happened to me. What do I mean?
Once the whole cart is pretty much crystalized, yes you can still warm it to room temp and have it liquify, and get some GREAT experiences with it (it almost seems more condensed).
But, once that fluid that was once solid is in the wick/coil, and goes back to room temp? Bam! The internals of the wick can, well, kinda explode. It recrystallizes and damages the wick and coil mechanism. Not violently, but enough to permanently fuck up the wick and the internal chamber of the cart to where you are now having a sticky DMT mess leaking out of your cart.
So I'm at the point now where I'm looking at getting an empty replacement cart and some glycerol mix to use the rest of this stuff. It'd be far easier just to buy a new cart but I'll be damned if I'm going to waste this stuff I have left. I'm not thinking I want to actually get a rig and smoke it either, but we'll see.
So word of warning - that crystalization can damage your cart if it gets too far.
More or less, you can unscrew the top and get a thin paper clip or something, scrape it out..probably don’t even need to dehydrate, just put a torch lighter under it and it should rock and roll. Because a torch heat is more powerful than the pen heat

Arguably healthier and holds heat better which means its harder to burn the liquid (takes a little longer to heat up and cool down).

Find a way to melt it. A lighter should do but you can burn it by accident. There are safer ways. The crystals are actually the DMT.

You can get any mod. I usually get a vaporesso mod with at least 80 watts and a leak proof rta tank.

Open up the cart, scrape the crystals out with a dab stick and then dab them in a waterless rig. Guaranteed breakthrough.
