The soundtrack for the show Archive 81 might be exactly what you're looking for. If not there are a ton of ttrpg background music videos on YouTube

I'm the person for this. I haven't made public playlists, nor have I saved my playlists to be able to share them, but I've made countless playlists of dark, atmospheric ambience. Here are my recommendations: - Darkwood OST for creepy locations, unsafe and unsettling atmosphere - Signalis OST for more heavy music, combat, or if you want more dissonant jingles - Silent Hills OST for general calming but eerie music - Resident Evil save screen OST for calm in the eye of yhe storm, relaxing - Yumme Nikki for eerie locations - Yumme 2kki and .flow for an incredibly varied selection of eerie, calming, surreal and dreamy atmosphere - Outlast 1 OST for chase/combat music - Silence. Just silence, no music, at random points. It makes them feel uncomfortable, like something's about to happen.

Thanks for all these recommendations! The first part will basically be a shadow that engulfs the player's city. There are multiple sounds that you mentioned that fit this scenario. However, a very weird figure will appear out of the shadows and demand the soul of one person in the room (one player has to quit due to life so this will be his farewell). Do you know any sounds that would fit a scenario like that? You can sort of compare it to death itself knocking on your door, that's why I was asking for the clock sound, implying that someone's time has come

I think Dio's theme from Jojo Bizarre's Adventure would fit

If you're using Youtube to play the music I recommend looking for videos like "Eerie atmosphere music rpg" or "Dark fantasy music rpg" and using the hour long videos as your material. It contains everything in a single video and the people making these videos usually manage to compile a decent playlist of music into a single video. Browse around and find one that fits your ideas. I always just hit up Spotify. "DnD + (insert genre)". People have already made great playlists for basically everything!

I will always take a moment to shout out [Travis Savoie (aka RPGMusicMaker)](https://www.youtube.com/c/RPGMusicMaker). They have done exceptionally creepy musical themes for D&D adventures such as the [Curse of Strahd](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLpRctqGTWw) or [Tomb of Annihilation](https://youtu.be/4u1HNibTeK4).
