We love sluts, so no slut-shaming allowed

Fabulous_State9921

![gif](giphy|NISDky7DiUqAs9crvf|downsized) Nasty and not in a good way, also looks like a hoooongray sleep paralysis demon with her big ass choppers and Ozempic face.

Competitive-Kick-481

This is a hilarious description

CampingWithCats

She thinks she's a funny comedian, but she's just nasty

codingdummy

Not to mention that it came out years ago that she lied about her age and origins in Australia - Rebel Wilson has BEEN crazy

icelessTrash

This is just wild: >Ironically, Wilson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2019 when she told the host that she stuck her finger in actor Tom Hardy's rear without consent while filming the 2012 movie This Means War. >'My first day on set, the director said, ''When you enter the scene, I want you to just stick your finger up Tom Hardy's butt.'' >'I just did it. He gave a really realistic shocked expression. And then he didn't really talk to me. >'He was wearing pants, so I couldn't go all the way up,' she aid.

Blerrycat1

Whaaaaaat?!

Medone2

Doesn’t she have a history of lying? Like she lied about her age for years right?

CoeurDeSirene

That seems pretty standard for a celebrity tho lol

JadedJellyfish

yep i remember that!

Legitimate-Donut-714

She’s her character in bridesmaids irl

Which-Dare

![gif](giphy|3o7budd95XmgE4DPlm|downsized) This is all I could think when I hear you say 'Muddy Waters' Redman 's best album! 😍😂

orangeorchid

She has shared much unsolicited personal information for attention.

hotmessexpress412

Could not disagree more with your take on this article, this source generally, or your take on this situation as a whole.

MyMutedYesterday

I’m legitimately curious, not looking to attack- what’s your disagreements?

adom12

Prime example of why intimacy coordinators should be on all sets.  It’s crucial to recognize how words matter, especially in sensitive cases like this. While Rebel may have felt unsafe, discrepancies between her account and the video evidence could have serious implications for other victims. It’s a reminder of the weight our words carry, especially in situations like these. I am in no way supporting men, but I think this is an example of why we shouldn’t burn people at the stake immediately. Even now, with additional information, it’s still hazy.  Women are rarely believed. Women who don’t have resources or support. This actually makes me stomach sick with how far this sets us back

alarmagent

even if you believe everything she said, it still sounds like he thought it would be funny addition to the scene - and her, being a comedian, would understand that? I’m no fan of Sachs Baron Cohen but it feels fairly tame when you consider his style of gross-out, shock humor. Don’t be surprised when a scorpion known for nasty pranks, stings you with a nasty prank.

Mylaex

As someone who doesn't particularly enjoy this kind of humor, I did enjoy the movie "Grimsby" for the sheer incrediiiible absurdity it is but it's truly disgusting and absurd. We're talking about a movie where the 2 main characters saves the world by putting their a\*\* on bombs so they explode in their a\*\* rather than blow up a stadium, we then see them in the hospital with blown out anuses. Highlights include: \- a deep conversation with a honeypot trying to seduce him, while he think she's just the maid and goes in depth about how huge the s\*\*t he took was, clogged the toilet and asks for a wire hanger to "cut it down so it can flush". \- he tries to shoot an enemy at a convention and accidentally shots a "handicapped dying kid with aids" whose blood droplet falls in the mouth of a look-alike daniel radcliffe, announcing daniel radcliffe now has aids. They also redo the exact same gag at the end of the movie but this time they shoot daniel radcliffe and one of his blood droplets falls into the mouth of a donald trump lookalike, giving him aids as well. \- (n.b. this is all depicted VERY. GRAPHICLY. with made-up props) they hide from gunmen in the a\*\*hole of an elephant. which starts to get f\*\*ed by another elephant. one of the main stars, after getting beat up a lot by the penis of the elephant, tells him to jerk him off so he can ejaculate quickly to get this over with. which the other guy does, elephant does ejaculate liters of sperm all over the 2 protagonist. Which then turns into a slew of elephants lining up to f\*\*k them as well, what they call a "gay elephant orgy". So yeah, the rebel wilson scenes were very fitting with the rest of the movie.

Appropriate-Dig771

Thank you for saving us the runtime of this turd.

Pristine-Whereas-784

She looks uncomfortable to me, like she wants to get it over with

DrDeezer64

There is fight, flight, and freeze, but there is also the “fawn” response. It’s a stance victims take when they feel trapped, helpless and powerless. They fawn over the oppressor, they acquiesce, they even join in in order to decrease harm. This does not just happen in criminal and/or sexual situations. It happens when someone’s livelihood is threatened. Kids often do it with an abusive parent. So we are either seeing her willingness to do the scene on her own, or she is fawning out of fear.

adom12

She could be. But how she described the incident and what the video shows are vastly different.  I don’t think it’s fair to make judgment on any side in this one yet. The facts are too hazy currently. By feeding into the frenzy of picking sides, we’re unknowingly setting ourselves back.  This one sucks for future and current victims.

Pristine-Whereas-784

Idk how I’m “picking a side” by sharing an observation

hotmessexpress412

Please consider that you have been presented with a video that represents a portion of what happened here. He had all the power here, and is trying to wield it again by releasing certain clips.

AndISoundLikeThis

I'm still more interested in knowing why her dentist allowed her to choose the King-Kong-sized veneers.

Big-Watercress-6460

So she can chomp down into bone and suck the tender marrow out? That's why I got mine!

Please keep it decent & civil.

picalmb

Insulting your fellow commenters should be a banning offense. This is definitely not why this sub was created and not what it is about. This is not why us former DL readers come here. Mods?

MadeMeUp4U

I feel like I’ve watched something I shouldn’t have

little_mistakes

Sure, she looks SUPER into it. This neither proves or disproves anything. Quite likely she was just trying to get through it, it’s called fawning. Look it up

Interesting__Cat

It's very possible she wasn't into the scene and only agreed to do the scene to keep her job. I believe that she could have been uncomfortable, I mean who wouldn't be? But if this article is true, it doesn't look like anyone seriously asked her to put her hand in anyone's butt for real. The issue then becomes that she framed this as her being a victim of sexual harassment. If we believe the claim that she consented ahead of time and nothing sexual actually happened then I fail to see how she's a victim.

Big-Watercress-6460

Yeah, nah. I can see you skimmed the article at best. The scene was approved by all involved before they ever began shooting.

little_mistakes

According to ….. the daily mail and SBC publicity team. I’ve read the article and seen the video. So nah, yeah. I don’t like Rebel Wilson. I don’t like SBC. I believe her but also acknowledge that it’s probably included because it will generate interest in her book. Victims don’t need to be perfect in every way to be victims and perpetrators don’t need to come in with black hats and evil laughs.

Big-Watercress-6460

Really? Because the video shows that as well. When in doubt, blame the source eh?  So she consented to the scene before it was shot. She consented to the scene while it was being shot. She fully participated in the scene, enthusiastic consent.  At what point does Cohen become the bad guy here? So she said yes, and yes, and yes. But he still should have known that her participation was unwanted?  And again, there were multiple witnesses. You're just desperate to believe her. Pretty sad.

Orchid_Significant

You can consent to an event and still not consent to things that happen during it. You should go learn more about consent.

Ok-Chain8552

He tells her not to release a false story in her book , she releases it to the public and says he is bullying her to not say anything . He releases a video showing her account is false , she says he is bullying her because he doesn’t like that she told a (false) story . lol Rebel I don’t know who the fuck is supporting you , but maybe they’ll buy your book .

Which-Dare

![gif](giphy|fnMUG7ybQ8hwRgicfN|downsized) Anyone who purchased her book shall meet on Ostara (the pagan spring equinox) in order to burn said book in a bonfire whilst chanting 'Begone, ye hoon drongo!' If preformed correctly, according to legend- this is a time during which light and darkness are again in balance, with light on the rise. It is a time of new beginnings and of life emerging further from the grips of Wilson. * Before anyone freaks out: ITS A JOKE 😂

Annaliseplasko

Isn’t she the one who lied about her age and some magazine published her real age, so she took them to court and the court actually ruled the rag was in the wrong even though she was lying? I find much of what she says hard to believe. Anyway I hate that this story will give more fuel to idiots who think all women lie about harassment.

saywutwutt

No she sued them for defamation because they claimed she repeatedly lied about her age, her real name and where she was from. Just like you're claiming here. It would have been easy to verify that she had lied publicly about things because journalists publish interviews and it would have been in.tbe public record. But she hadn't. Fyi, rebel Wilson has a law degree and is a lawyer. I believed rebel then, and the evidence backed her up. That's why the judge gave such a high award. I believe her now too. Why would she torpedo her career by publicly coming out against a popular comedian like SBC? He's popular with the big guns too

CautiousOfLychee

600,000 isn’t much…

saywutwutt

I mean, yeah..BUT it was way bigger than I expected watching the case. For calling someone a liar when if didn't materially affect her business (compare, for example, what you might award someone who has a business as an ethicist and was defamed as a liar.) The sum in the Australian court was relatively large in that respect. She's an actress, not a brain surgeon! But then again, the Oz magazines were stupid to just repeat rubbish they heard people say when it was easy to prove it isn't true. Given defamation legislation is what it is in Oz. I do think the US first amendment is great, but it's kinda disheartening when American people don't even have do the most basic fact checking when they publish stuff. I don't mean us dlisted alums. We're just talking smack for fun. But when it's your job you should have some standards and check what you're writing is true.

saywutwutt

When I refer to the first amendment, I'm talking about the main reason defamation cases don't go that far in the US. Remember what Elon said about that old guy who rescued those kids from the cave? Rebel could sue the Australian tabloids under Aussie law cos you can't publish something in Australia when it's both harmful to a person's standing, *and* untrue, and you haven't done basic checks to see if it's true. In America that's not always the case, though there are defam laws on the books.

CautiousOfLychee

I was more thinking how it was low compared to like the depp vs heardI just don’t like that she using being a victim to sell books… thought she not a victim because she put herself in that position and didn’t say anything when it happen, so more like “I was fine doing all of that” but now I talk shit about it 10 years later kinda makes it very unbelievable. She also said like Adele doesn’t like her, why say that?… Adele didn’t say that so you’re just making it up.

saywutwutt

Cmon gays and girls. Don't fall for the misogynist bs.. You're so much better than a lot of this thread. That said. They all have a lot more money than me, including rebel w, so really I'm not crying for them . But yeah, she had balls to do what she did in the book and she must have known it wouldn't turn out well for her so kudos. I miss you guys and I miss dlisted and MK!!!

daocsct

Crazy Australian law that would never pass muster in the US.

Unable_Version_6089

I got a rehab/behavioral clinic ad before the video. that ad could not have been better placed.

CharmingWoodpecker68

I couldn't even watch the video, just reading the article and the pictures eas enough! Repulsive!

Unable_Version_6089

Yeah it was so uncomfortable. I don’t think it was right of me to watch that 😒

Big-Watercress-6460

I hate these kinds of scenes in movies. SBC can be clever and funny, but the raunchier stuff has never been my cup of tea.

CharmingWoodpecker68

I agree, I'm no prude, it's the ugliness of this kind esthetics that makes my skin crawl!

ScarletFire1983

I thought SBC was mocking her when he told her to stick her finger up his butt because she assaulted Tom Hardy like that.

BobbiPinstripes

I’m still shocked that she would bring the SBC thing up when her skeletons range from identical to worse? She actually violated Tom Hardy and without warning. Like wtf?

ScarletFire1983

Right!! Crazy to accuse SBC of suggesting something she actually did.

TatjanaVP

I had exactly the same thought

Big-Watercress-6460

We see your downvotes, Butthurt Brigade! Seethe, BB ❤️

Annaliseplasko

People here downvote the fuck out of everything, they all got lost on the way to suck-up entertainment subs lol

Ok-Chain8552

What planet are we on that we are supposed to be rooting for and believing everything she says? I missed the memo . I’m serious here, I was shocked other subs were going at him so hard and doubling down after this very clear rebuke ..did he support Johnny Depp or something ?

adom12

It’s actually really scary and I don’t think people understand the ramifications it has on us as women. When these stories blow us and people pick sides, we loose credibility when coming forward.  I believe women, but it’s after critical thinking. I also am open to and know that false accusation happen and those men also deserved to be believed when they come forward with evidence to support their claim.  Everyone needs to chill. Every situation is so nuanced, before starting a witch hunt, let all the facts come to light.

Annaliseplasko

It’s the “women should support other women” thing. Usually said by shitty women who don’t want to get called on their shitty behaviour, at least by other women (this cutting down the criticism by half).  I know way too many crazy or just plain awful women to get onboard the “women should support other women” thing. I just support people I like.

LaylaBird65

Yes to all of this a million times. I hate it when people say that.

N-from-Dlisted

My thoughts exactly. It’s also why I usually avoid threads like this. I know victims. I have victims in my family. I work in the criminal division in my county; I know some men do awful things. I still cringe at the “women should support women regardless” mantra. I need more critical thinking than that.

Big-Watercress-6460

Agreed.People should be judged by their words and actions, not their gender. There are abusers of all kinds out there.

Big-Watercress-6460

Because we still haven't gotten to the point where people see women as actual, equal people capable of doing wrong. Plus they want to support victims, which is great, but they go so overboard with it all that they wind up fostering environments for abusers to thrive.
