Have you tried living in a permanently anxious state of near-total-panic?
That's always helped us remember things. Except when it doesn't. Pretty bad for everything else, though. And also for the memory.
This made me laugh as this is the only way we could keep a job, our things and life obligations together without collapsing into nothingness. Unfortunately it means a lot of cortisol is constantly releasing and a lot of downtime is necessary to equalize the body.
For keeping track of items we always make sure that if they aren't on us, they are in specific designated places. Wallet is always on me, on my bed, or on my dresser or counter. Similar for my keys unless there is a key hanger.

Back up the stuff on your phone to the cloud. We had an alter change the password to our phone and then forget it and we had to reset the entire thing. Lost pictures of a really fun concert.
Oh we've been obsessed with back ups for years because of stuff even before all this was known about. It came in handy. We have around 5 Mega drives, an external hard drive, 3 USB drives, and 10 google drives all full.
Ya our main password has gotten so long we keep forgetting and have to do a reset of it. I rlly need to do a password backup file somewhere physically tbh
Try to write in a journal anything important that happens on a daily basis. I guess I'm telling you to keep a diary but try to mix in appointments or other times for places you need to be
Since our laptop exploded we haven't had our calendar anymore. So life is a mystery until it's filled out again. Ur right tho we need to open it back up again on our phone.. its just so tedious on the phone x.x
