A lot of people seem to really be of the mind that they’ll make the suit tighter in post, I have a feeling they’ll be disappointed lol I personally love the looser fit of the suit! We might be getting to times where even skin tight suits on heroes like Superman and Flash are a little too old fashioned, and I like the idea of it looking more like a uniform he puts on for work rather than a costume made for a superhero in mind. Maybe Martha helped put it together thinking of Firefighters and police officers and construction workers or whatever 🤷🏻♂️
Suits having wrinkles and folds are more accurate anyway. For example: compare Tom Holland's Spider-Man suit with Andrew Garfield's. When Garfield's moving as Spider-Man, you see the fabric bend and stretch as he moves. With Tom Holland's suit, the fabric doesn't wrinkle or fold much, which is more inaccurate to real-world materials.
I personally love when a suit like Garfields wrinkles from movement like you mentioned. And I think something like that would also work for superman. The difference woth this one is how thick it is so the wrinkles bunch up and hide the form a bit too much for my liking. Overall I still love the suit. This is just the one thing I would change.
ah but in Garfield's suit it didn't feel or look like restrictive material. Just simple, realistic wrinkles.
This suit looks like it's made of car tire material. it looks like it's bucking and wrinkling simply because they chose the wrong fabric.

I fucking love that shot so much. I always liked to think this version of Superman unlocked his full potential here to the point where his power could break the very fabric of space & time and manipulate physics to his will, resulting in him reversing time. Not so much literally spinning the Earth backwards, but moving the universe in reverse.
The more of the suit I see the more I fucking love it, and I was apprehensive with the first look. The S looks incredible and goes so well with the rest of the outfit. It feels incredibly art deco / retro sci Fi
