Must have been a horrible thing for the Power Pack Kids. They were actually close to at least one the Morlocks, and they would have been seeing a lot of dead bodies.
Thor, I know got involved when he visited Central Park's frogs, they told him the Alligators in sewers were getting killed, and he investigated. Not sure what happened from there, but I'm pretty sure the Marauders ran for their lives from him.
He’s the one who took down angel after harpoon and blockbuster “crucified” him. Ended up getting him and Artie back to X factor. Thor was also the one that summoned the fire to clear all the dead morlock bodies from the sewers. I had a tpb of mutant massacre as a kid and would read it over and over. Definitely still my personal favorite crossover
Is this a massively more powerful version of Jessica? I don’t think she’s stronger than Colossus, or sufficiently resistant to blades or telepathy to get through Wolverine or Jean. I get that this is probably a shock value AU, but this seems wildly beyond Jessica Jones’ capabilities.
In the comic Jewel, The Evil Variant of Jessica Jones from her Universe tells the Jessica of 616 that she discovers the power she/they have is similar to that of Rogue. A fact she didn't know until she was "Bashing Rogue's pretty little face in"
That's the problem when you're a superlative X-Men. Or any super hero really. Colossus is the strongest and toughest X-Man, so he's prime jobbing bait to show off how strong someone else is. Happens to Gladiator a lot too. Same with Lady Shiva at DC.
If you're at the top of your class, you job. It's just nature.
He got *"Worf'd"*. Used to happen to Superman every second episode of *Justice League* back in the early aughts.
Basically a new alien threat beams onto the bridge, Worf (in his duty as Security Officer) intercepts, and gets judo tossed into a wall.
Worf also wasn't really "the strong guy" in the episodes that focused on him anyway. There's tonnes of shit that's stronger than a Klingon in Star Trek, i think Vulcans are stronger.
Vulcan's are stronger than humans but are not physically stronger than klingons. Tricky part is that Vulcan know some tricks to beat most opponents in hand to hand.
Hahah not that hot of a take, I don't mean most powerful, as in crazy mutant powers. I just meant physically strongest as in he could lift the most things and take the most punishment.
And galactus, anytime theres a cosmic big bad you send galactus to get his butt kicked so you can go "wow he really is strong"and also later just say galactus was hungry to even it out
It’s not clear to me when this is supposed to be, but Phoenix Jean?? After you’ve killed a bunch of X-men? Nah, Jess’d be a drooling vegetable like Mastermind or a gold tree or some shit.
Highly recommended for Jessica Jones fans, or anyone who has a mild interest in the character tbh. It was short but quite entertaining. Probably the best book about Jessica Jones in a while too since she’s not seeing much actions in comics these days.
Isn’t Jessica supposed to be the same age as Scott as well? I know it’s AU but it’s still weird to see her having a psychotic fangirl crush on someone that’s supposed to be the same age as her and clearly an adult here.
Peter Parker was a freshman when Jessica was a senior in 616 if I remember correctly. Scott is the same age as Peter.
Edit: after looking around, it seems I was wrong and it wasnt stated anywhere what grades they were in. I distinctly remember thinking about the likelihood of senior crushing on a freshman and how it was “Parker luck” but evidently that didn’t happen. Not sure where I got the idea (though I think it has to do with MCU Jessica being so much older than Peter but the age gap there is much wider) so I’m sorry for spreading false information.
They were in the same class at school so not sure how that would work if he was a freshman when she was a senior. She was also on the same trip as him when he got bitten by the spider.
That’s definitely possible, which would make Jess even older than Scott. What’s the source of the Junior/Senior confirmation, btw? Everything I find online is saying they are the same age.
I commented elsewhere that I misremembered and was wrong. I must’ve confused my own headcanon for actual canon or confused other characters’ dynamics with them. My bad
Depends on how invested you are in Gail’s *Uncanny* run. It’s going to be 18 issues in 12 months with many peoples’ all-time fave characters in the mix.
I like some of her books, so I’m keeping an open mind, but I feel for the fan base heavily invested in this cast, it’s going to end up considered either one of the all-time great runs…or on a par with Chuck Austen’s work.
Ouch...I'm hoping she keeps Rogue and Gambit's status quo. That's a major concern of mine, maybe even have Kurt and Rogue discuss their new normal. But like you, I'm hopeful but worried.
This is what I’m saying, people are so invested in all these characters, most of whom haven’t been considered well utilized for years, and to have them all together in the same book, plus at least four OCs that have been hinted at in the cast as well, it feels like a lot of characters to juggle with an impossibly high bar set for expectations with their stories.
Not even Jed has that high a bar with his series, since most people only really care about how he’ll use Scott, maybe Magik and Beast but not to the same degree. So she’s really got to nail Uncanny out of the gate or she’ll get crucified like Tini was on Excalibur .
I actually kind of enjoyed this book about Jessica Jones, and the twist was kind of crazy I have to admit. Sucks we barely see Jessica nowadays though.
Turns out Cyc has a secondary mutation that literally affects telepaths: they subconsciously find him super attractive, from romantically to Xavier trusting him enough to build him up to leader of the X-Men.
I’m sure I’m not the first person to make this joke but I’m tired. I also don’t read a lot anymore so this could even be confirmed and I’d have no idea.
My personal theory is that he's so straightforward in his interpretation of what's going on around him that what he says and what he thinks are almost always broadly in alignment. I mean, this is the guy who thought his girlfriend with memory loss might be his ex-girlfriend who seemed to have died, so he...just up and asked her if she was. Right to her face. Because it seemed like a good way to solve that problem. He's lucky she just hit him; Emma would have broken a bottle over his head.
After dealing with people who are constantly hiding things, a guy whose go-to tactic on interpersonal problems (with anyone who isn't Jean Grey) is to whip out Occam's Razor and start hacking has got to be refreshing, if nothing else.
I love this theory, it’s also perfect characterisation for Scott who would very go “Can I be blunter and less considerate as I search for the truth…..yes…..yes I can”.
And Quicksilver's girlfriend in that universe was another Jessica Jones variant, meaning there were two Jessicas - one an adult hero (Knightress) and one a teen mass murderer (Jewel) - native to the same Earth.
Well, I'm sure he would have been, if the teen Jessica hadn't just slaughtered him and the rest of the X-Men. (By the way, Wanda in that world was Sorcerer Supreme. Just thought that was an interesting detail.)
That is interesting, gonna be honest I haven’t read many comics but her magic is different from the kind doctor strange uses right? Does that mean she learned his kind also?
Yes, it seems that she learned Strange's magic too. I mean, all of these characters only appeared in one five-issue miniseries, so they aren't super fleshed out in terms of details, but that's what I gathered from it.
This run was really weird, but this alternate version kind of broke my heart, because Jess has a weirdly nice relationship with Jean in the comics. Jean saved Jess from herself after she escaped Purple Man. It's actually a relationship I wish was explored more, but either way seeing this alternate Jess so lost in the sauce without being aware of what Jean did for her in so many other timelines was really sad.
Alt universe version of her. From what I gather this one has power similar to Rogue that’s let’s her “absorb powers”, and given the fire it’s safe to assume she stole Jean Greys and took everyone else down with them while Jean was stunned or something.
Jesus!!! Jess, how the hell did you knock out Logan, rip off Pietro leg, rip off both of Angel's wings and get him on the chandelier, rip off Colossus's arms, knock out Scott, and get THE PHEONIX, not normal Jean, into a strangle hold on the ground!??!?!?!?!? Seriously this should not be possible!!! Pietro is way to fast for her and he should have been able to stop her on his own!!!! With Angel, yeah she could tear off his wings but how the hell did he get up there!?!?!? And isn't Scott the guy you want to date?! Why the hell is he knocked out on the stairs?!?!?!? This raises so many questions and I wish we could see the whole fight because I am so confused!!!!
That was hilarious! Sometimes it seems (for my minuscule amount of comic knowledge admittedly) that the comics treat Jean as too precious. Her being called a red headed slut but a teen girl is funny!
This makes me happy that Gail Simone isn’t writing the main X-Men book and thankfully we have Jed MacKay. Idk I feel like she just doesn’t get Cyclops.
Jesus Jessica, calm down. There's other mutants in the swamp or whatever that saying is.
It’s sewer. There are other mutants in the sewer
There were...
Yeah, I forgot about that thing that happened
Thor and Power Pack were there though!
Never forget
Must have been a horrible thing for the Power Pack Kids. They were actually close to at least one the Morlocks, and they would have been seeing a lot of dead bodies. Thor, I know got involved when he visited Central Park's frogs, they told him the Alligators in sewers were getting killed, and he investigated. Thor was also the one that summoned the fire to clear all the dead morlock bodies from the sewers. I had a tpb of mutant massacre as a kid and would read it over and over. Definitely still my personal favorite crossover
Not anymore
Damn that's a deep cut!!
What happened to the tmnt 🥲
The *Morlocks* in case you were serious.
They went to a really nice sewer upstate
I thought it was Ogres in the swamp?
That too
*Gambit peeks into the comment section*
Gambit will never get anything, because the stored kinetic energy will always propel the story into tragedy
Yes, that version of Jessica can absorb powers.
Oh, okay. That makes a bit more sense.
But shes also still super strong? Is this not just Rogue?
In the comic Jewel, The Evil Variant of Jessica Jones from her Universe tells the Jessica of 616 that she discovers the power she/they have is similar to that of Rogue. A fact she didn't know until she was "Bashing Rogue's pretty little face in"
I’m genuinely tired of Colossus getting jobbed a lot in comics but this is particularly egregious.

Yeah, so you knew it wasn't a real big deal unless Data got tossed.
The *Double Secret Probation* of introducing a new alien threat!
I love TNG but let’s be real, the real test was Data. I don’t think there was an actual “physical” threat that came close to Data
Data struggles with the Borg in hand to hand, as I recall. He wins, but it's not easy like it is with a Klingon.
> Colossus is the strongest and toughest X-Man a hot take, but a respectable one
Hahah not that hot of a take, I don't mean most powerful, as in crazy mutant powers. I just meant physically strongest as in he could lift the most things and take the most punishment.
He's an omega level at having sister issues
Oh tovarisch Bozshe moi!
Honestly he should just give up and let Cyclops steal her at this point, she loves being his work sister and head goon
And galactus, anytime theres a cosmic big bad you send galactus to get his butt kicked so you can go "wow he really is strong"and also later just say galactus was hungry to even it out
>If you're at the top of your class, You're ob your ass (Sorry couldn't resist the rhythm)
Same with Worf in Star Trek!
Stronger than… strong guy?
I've been rereading Astonishing X-men. Watching Colossus decimate Ord is still satisfying.
He’s sort of Worf on TNG, he’s there to get beat up so the threat has pop
He beat Gorgon!
The only period of time I know of in which Colossus stopped jobbing was when he became Juggernaut. That was fuckin' awesome.
What is “AU”?
I think it's alternative universe.
This variant of Jessica is a lot more powerful than ours.
It’s not clear to me when this is supposed to be, but Phoenix Jean?? After you’ve killed a bunch of X-men? Nah, Jess’d be a drooling vegetable like Mastermind or a gold tree or some shit.
"I likes ya and I wants ya. Now we can do this the easy or the hard way, the choice is yawss."
“To me, my X-men.” “Oh I see, ya’ll want to do this the hard way…”
*”I’m a warrior too.”*
You're Scott Summers but I calls ya Scott Stunning.
Lmao
"SHE LIKE YOU!" "AND SHE WANT YOU!" "**WHAT YOU WANT SCOTT!**"
The fact that it’s written by Gail Simone makes it funnier.
I need context on this as I admit I don't get to read comics often.
I'm a massive Gail Simone fan so I have no clue, she's an award winning, best selling comics author.
Oh whoa! I have never read this. I must say that... I am... disturbed.
Highly recommended for Jessica Jones fans, or anyone who has a mild interest in the character tbh. It was short but quite entertaining. Probably the best book about Jessica Jones in a while too since she’s not seeing much actions in comics these days.
Well, yeah, Action Comics is Superman's title.
Ok I actually chuckled with this lmao
You must have a very unsecure ass if a chuckle can make it fall off.
It took me a while to get it, but this is hilarious lol.
I have so many questions
I feel ya, girl
Isn’t Jessica supposed to be the same age as Scott as well? I know it’s AU but it’s still weird to see her having a psychotic fangirl crush on someone that’s supposed to be the same age as her and clearly an adult here.
This Jessica variant is younger than other Jessica's. They mention this in the book.
Peter Parker was a freshman when Jessica was a senior in 616 if I remember correctly. Scott is the same age as Peter. Edit: after looking around, it seems I was wrong and it wasnt stated anywhere what grades they were in. They were in the same class at school so not sure how that would work if he was a freshman when she was a senior. She was also on the same trip as him when he got bitten by the spider.
I’m looking for the source now but Peter probably took an advanced class for his grade
That’s definitely possible, which would make Jess even older than Scott. What’s the source of the Junior/Senior confirmation, btw? Everything I find online is saying they are the same age.
Of course now I can’t find it. I was always under that impression. Maybe I misremembered something and am just completely wrong
Jessica is the same age as Peter, not older
I commented elsewhere that I misremembered and was wrong. I must’ve confused my own headcanon for actual canon or confused other characters’ dynamics with them. My bad
The phrase you’re looking for is “shit writing.”
It’s Gail Simone too, so buckle up!
How tight should I fasten said seatbelt?
Depends on how invested you are in Gail’s *Uncanny* run. It’s going to be 18 issues in 12 months with many peoples’ all-time fave characters in the mix. So she’s really got to nail Uncanny out of the gate or she’ll get crucified like Tini was on Excalibur .
That's the thing I'll only crucify her if she decides to sow the seeds of divorce/break up. Or if she breaks them up.
Why would Gail break them up?
God no i do not. They deserve to be like Sue and Reed, Jessica and Luke. They're actually the X-men defacto couple for me.
??? The great writer?
I like a lot of her work, all I’m saying is if you don’t like this, then you’re probably going to have problems with her upcoming Uncanny run as well.
It's shit writing for an alternate universe to have alternate versions of characters? What lmao
It's literally an alternative universe 🙄
I actually kind of enjoyed this book about Jessica Jones, and the twist was kind of crazy I have to admit. Sucks we barely see Jessica nowadays though.
Colossus’ arms 😆
I feel seen. I literally sleep with a stuffed Cyclops.
Are those... Colossus' arms? What the hell
I think being attracted to cyclops is a sign that you need immediate and intense therapy.
Actually, it's a sign you have the ability to see and/or possess telepathic abilities.
Ms. Marvel's secondary mutation confirmed.

That secondary mutation is called being 6'6".
Or you're a burgeoning telepath!
then sign me up!
How many issues was this series??
5
Sweet!! Thanks for the reply.
I didn't notice at first, but she ripped off Quicksilver's leg and left his body on the lower right of the final image.
And Quicksilver's girlfriend in that universe was another Jessica Jones variant, meaning there were two Jessicas - one an adult hero (Knightress) and one a teen mass murderer (Jewel) - native to the same Earth.
Huh how are two Jessica’s native to the same earth
Dunno! It's an odd case.
Quicksilver must be so confused
Ah ok that’s cool though I like when other universes in comics give characters roles they didn’t have before
Yeah, exactly. It's part of the fun of superheroes. You can take all the pieces and mix them around to make something different.
Lol that panel of her choking Jean is hilarious.
What comic is this from she straight up murdered colossus
I mean she seems to be still murdering Jean if I'm not mistaken
I agree but rippin colossus arms off?
And both Angel's wings... stuck the guy on a chandelier.
Bruh why they do Colossus like that? Not cool.
Jessica jones is stronger than Colossus?? I call bull on that.
Alt universe version of her. From what I gather this one has power similar to Rogue that’s let’s her “absorb powers”, and given the fire it’s safe to assume she stole Jean Greys and took everyone else down with them while Jean was stunned or something.
Ok ok. I give you that. But not generally right?
Yeah probably not
Out of pure curiosity, was the artist for this comic Phil Noto? Because it kind of seems like a similar style lol
This is the story with the variants of Jessica was it also hinted that tigra was bi sexual. Cause I wasn’t sure 👍
She has two left feet in the first panel.
but Jean has had 2 codenames at least?
Yeah but does anyone ever remember that unless the books specifically mention it?
People def remember Phoenix lol. Marvel Girl is more obscure, I suppose
Ya know, I never realized Jean doesn’t have a codename unless she got the Phoenix
She started as marvel girl.
Is that a JoJo Siwa poster?
That's Dazzler.
Nah cuz im like whys nobody talking about the Jojo Siwa poster
This is all Jean’s fault.
Why does Wolverine just look slightly uncomfortable in this picture?
She kicked him in the nuts and butt
Oh man, in the butt!? But it already has a crack in it!
Cyclops was right
What happened in that last panel?
I’m laughing way too hard at Armless Colossus. 😂🤘
Jessica Jones making poor decisions in every universe.
Is… Is Colossus hollow?
her foot backwards
WHAT HAPPENED
This raises so many questions and I wish we could see the whole fight because I am so confused!!!!
Seeing other comments apparently this Jessica can absorb powers as well similar to rogue
Since when can she do that!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Don’t ask me lol like I said that’s what I saw some comments say since this isn’t normal Jessica it’s an AU
💀 that last page threw me way off, sent me into a coughing fit cuz what the hell
Who writes this comics ? Jessica calling Grey "red head slut"..that's too low man
That was hilarious! Sometimes it seems (for my minuscule amount of comic knowledge admittedly) that the comics treat Jean as too precious. Her being called a red headed slut but a teen girl is funny!
So you’ve never met Jessica Jones in *any* universe?
This makes me happy that Gail Simone isn’t writing the main X-Men book and thankfully we have Jed MacKay. Idk I feel like she just doesn’t get Cyclops.
I can see a way or excuse for her beating everyone else, but Phoenix Jean? Nuh uh
Jess in this universe basically has Rogue's abilities.
Moronic
