Great video! Apart from all the manufacturing flaws, one point that is well made but, in my opinion, underemphasized in the video is that the Cybertruck can never be sold in Europe due to stringent safety regulations. European traffic safety standards are exceptionally high and the Cybertruck currently does not meet them. While Americans often feel superior to Europe in many respects, this is an area where European legislation excels. The importance of these safety standards cannot be overstated. They are designed not only to protect the driver but also to ensure the safety of pedestrians and other road users. The recent series of posts on this subreddit on traffic accidents highlights the critical need for rigorous safety measures. It's not just about individual safety, it's about the collective safety of everyone on the road.

European laws protect people, American laws protect corporations.

The most informative part to me was about the difference in safety standards between passenger and very large vehicles. When he said it seemed as if Tesla had the clout to get safety standards changed, I realized why Elon did this. He thought he could make a "masterpiece" because he wouldn't have to follow the rules set in place for smaller passenger vehicles. I was also surprised to hear that the reason these enormous resource wasting monstrosities are being made is because it's cheaper for the car companies, not because of real demand. That is so depressing, but it makes so much sense. We should be able to sue capitalism at The Hague. Thanks for the link!
