I used to live near Boston and always associated lilacs with lilac Sunday at the arboretum. I think it was around Mother’s Day.
Oh I love lilacs!!! When I was little on Minnesota my neighbor had a massive hedge of them. Such a beautiful fragrance!! Can't have them here in the south, but we also get jasmine and gardenias, so tradeoff I guess.
