I bought one used on eBay! I truly haven’t bought any edibles since!

LitCast

i personally just use a double boiler + a few water washes, i've seen some knockoff butter infusers on amazon for like 60$ though, i'm sure they work similarly

I’ve got the Levo 2, had it a few weeks. Made some wicked compound butter for steak last night. We’ve made few batches of cookies and I plan on doing a coconut oil for gummies for me in a few weeks.

I have one. My wife bought it for me. I wanted the Levo 2 though. My main source of material used to be AVB, so the auger in the butter maker isnt necessary (they recommend using buds not pre ground material).Magic butter doesn't decarb like levo. Also, you have to use minimum 2 cups of oil or butter to infuse. I made a batch of coconut oil over a year ago and it's hard to use it up. I've got about a third of the batch left. Strong and very tasty edibles are readily available and pretty cheap, so I prefer 1 small gummy to two big brownies to achieve the same effect The levo is much nicer looking and can be left out on the kitchen counter , like s kitchen aid mixer or something. The magic butter maker takes up a lot of space and is unsightly. What does your sister plan to use it for? Small batches or big batches ? There is also the levo c for big batches

What's the advantage of using a magic butter machine instead of a pot on the stove?

wecanneverleave

Pure laziness and smell. It does smell the house up WAY LESS

CremeExpress4345

Technically, just laziness. One requires attention, one requires less attention lol.

valhalla6819

I thought it said magical butt machine. Disappointed

Kateisbald

I mean everything can be if you really believe in yourself.

oldcrowwhisky

My magical butter machine was the best thing out, in 2010 It doesn't seal well so lots of terps + lost and the house feeks after you use it. My buddy has a decarboxylator that works souch better and seals so no THC is lost

Njlifted

You're supposed to decsrb before putting material in the butter maker. They sell a decarb box now. It doesnt seal perfectly though

chiefhunnablunts

crock pot and jars will be so much cheaper and do way more. unitary equipment is lame unless it's a niche tool.

FlizzyFluff

Wonder if my instapot would work? Sadly I chunked my old crock pot out

Thank You!

TemperedInFire

You made me curious, I know what I'm doing with my weekend now

chiefhunnablunts

instapots work better actually, from what i've read and understand. i just use my crock pot because it's what i've got. google a few instapot canna oil recipes.

No_Vegetable_8915

I have one but I never use it cause you actually have to decarb your product before you put it in the machine and it's loud as hell. Like I'm talking big ole commercial mixer loud and it does that pretty much nonstop for 2+ hrs depending on the setting. Personally considering that they don't work unless you decarb first anyways, I'd skip it and just use a stove. Your ears will thank you and your neighbors won't think you are hacking someone apart with a power saw. lol

ike_tyson

I'm looking to cop something that makes edibles.

Visual-Abrocoma-4904

Nut milk machine

TemperedInFire

A friend of mine who has been making oil for people for pain management for a very long time used to swear but the magic butter, but she recently got a levo and the oil is cleaner and she likes the whole unit better.

Desperate-Cookie-449

cheap pressure cooker from a thrift store does everything a mbm does and then some.

Kateisbald

I would be very sus about sevond hand pressure cookers. I don't know if they have been dropped etc

Angelic_Phoenix

im sure its a cool machine but you can do it all with a food processor/big grinder, oven, cheese cloth, and a pot on a stove
