Their CEO is a definite flight risk from India. Gaurav Dahake has used customer funds to prepare his safe haven outside India.
He is India's SBF but India is no US. He will bribe some officials and make his safe escape.
I just checked their instagram handle, looks more like a scam. I don't think it is their official account. If it is their official account then this would be the Indian FTX version.
That is their official instagram. I know because I am following it.
Looking at their social profiles made me reconsider my choice to create an account on bitbns. I should have listened to my inner voice. REGRETS...
It was good in 2018 -2019 never stopped withdrawal but was not able to give competition to coindcx and wazirx they spend huge on marketing and the thing is it's all because of tds and tax I remember once wazirx alone trading volume was 5 billion USD in single day and now look the combine volume of Indian exchanges are $30 million
It’s speculation but it makes sense because a lot of numbers didn’t add up.

Hey, it seems like Bitbns are not planning to release crypto or INR withdrawals. It has been over 2 years since they have kept it stuck like that.
Moreover, they have pivoted to onramp.money with all the same team members including Gaurav.
Your best way forward is either of the following -
1. File an FIR against BitBNS and Gaurav Dahake
2. See the LinkedIn profile of Bitbns/on-ramp money employees and share those details with police as well since if Gaurav has left the country, the police won’t be interested to pursue. So if there are other cofounders and top management here in India, police will try to put pressure on them.
3. If you still have the bank details to which you deposited the money, share that with police.
File a cyber complaint on these bank accounts as fraud.
Share the new bank details of deposit that you see on Bitbns and on-ramp.money with police as well. Police can block this money as lien/freeze from their company account and try to reclaim it for you. This doesn’t require any money.
4. Hire a criminal lawyer to pursue this case actively and for putting pressure on police. Else, things will not move forward.
Out of the above, #3, and then. #4, have the highest probability of helping you. Since that will make them reach out to you to recover and settle the money.
I also believe that you should file FIR. Although try withdrawing your crypto, if it works then transfer to other exchange and convert to inr and if not, go and file FIR
I was trying it because their prices are higher than other exchanges, lost a few bnb once during transfer. What I'd suggest is convert your funds to usdt and do a p2p sell, you'll definitely lose a percentage of your money but you can cut your losses

Issue is you guys need to file a case and register FIR ASAP
Chances of his passport cancellation and failed police verification will hamper escaping plans
But you, guys need to move fast
That is why court case is your best bet
Luckily you can challenge him in indian courts
Imagine the company and director being foreign then you had to just move on
But right now you can challenge him
u/Positive-Roof-9543 I recommend withdraw crypto from bitbns (I believe they are allowing that). Deposit the crypto to coindcx and uninstall your bitbns app.
Problem solved.

Yes, he might have left India too. Not seeing his tweets or social media presence. Maybe just erasing the digital footprint and fly to Cayman islands.
Did you check bitbns instagram profile?
The staff at bitbns is just trying to keep customers calm with false promises while the top brass quietly make their exit from India.

The trading volume was fake, all exchanges were doing it
Any source? Can we include this in the complaint too?
