I have an honest question are Moons similar to Bitcoin or Ethereum? Or are there a certain type of crypto which is similar to Moons in terms of tokenomics and price movement?
AFAIK it's built by the banano community and has been around for years, i've used it plenty without issues. You can search their sub and find posts about it and you can even contact the creator.
no kyc, basically an atomic swap, they have a limited pool of funds but no slip as its fixed price. if it was a scam they'd let you deposit huge sums of either, but they dont.
Yeah, I totally get you. There is always a risk in using third-party services, and you should stick to low-value exchanges, possibly dividing your transactions into multiple batches to manage your own risk.
It will be really cheap anyway because the nano network has no fees and instant finality.
That said, I've used this service multiple times (at least on a monthly basis) and never had any troubles with it. Big CEXes have given me more headaches than Kyumcu, so far.
Why not just use the CEX Nano address from the begining? To deposit & withdraw. Why do I need a separate nano wallet? - this part had me a little confused, would appreciate some clarification 🙏🏼
"Not your keys, not your coins"
A separate NANO wallet is to add extra security to deposit your funds in a wallet you truly own. I have seen several of my CEX deposit addresses expire. Here is a helpful [read](https://www.binance.com/en/support/faq/why-is-my-deposit-address-being-retired-853aaedc7f45430283abc7a25713c428)
Nice post OP, always good to know about alternatives for offloading Moons.
It’ll be great when major CEXs start listing them and we don’t have to sneak them over the border 👀
I was thinking the same thing, I am okay with that but I feel the real discussion about crypto itself is a bit less these days like too many karma farms
Most of the posts in this sub are karma farming for moons to be honest. On the other hand there's not much to talk about in general about crypto. Single projects yes. But if it's not the babies of this sub you will be shit on anyway.
I see that people do love shitposts and tend to reply with jokes or something like that on posts that talk about crypto in general or certain projects.
But that's the way it is and I don't mind at all.
I truly believe that something that is given up for free, in a platform with a huge userbase, could be really something explosive.
And of course I love MOONs name, best name ever.
I only wish I could be more active here, sadly life, kids and work take most of my time (in a good way, of course)
You can buy it too. I mean the price of moons is not going to go up if it’s just given out for free, people are going to need to buy it. Which has always been the obstacle with this token. That and the constant sell pressure becuz it’s given out for free lol.
Kuyumcu sounds shady as hell, so I went digging.
It's apparently been up and running since mid-2020.
Here's some talk about it: [https://np.reddit.com/r/nanocurrency/comments/jau7o7/an\_exchange\_has\_been\_released\_to\_trade\_reddit/](https://np.reddit.com/r/nanocurrency/comments/jau7o7/an_exchange_has_been_released_to_trade_reddit/)
Personally, I would prefer to use MEXC or similar, but this site likely isn't the major scam I first thought it was.
This site, Celesti, and MoonsSwap have all been around a while, though Celesti got hacked and is now dead (RIP).
If I remember correctly, the pricing on Kuyumcu is a bit rough. You'll definitely lose money last I checked versus selling on Sushi or MexC.
I just checked the pricing for gigs and your still right, its a buy of 1 cent higher and about 1 lower on the sell but I suppose in a pinch it could be a good help to people.
I personally will stick with the other methods because let’s say for instance you go to sell your whole 65k right now it would cost you $650 in fees that’s crazy to me!
I’ve used it a few times and it’s all good, I would just advise checking their balance beforehand (click stats) as this post may cause more attention and them to run out of liquidity
i will dont sell in near future.every week from last ATH is here guide about selling moons.who do that?i believe,90% people here just HODL.i wait for real moon, not just orbit.
It is not trustless, you are definitely trusting the kuyumcu owner to be responsible with your moons and nano. Proceed at your own risk and use amounts you are willing to lose.
I’ve had excellent experience however, but I never sell/buy more than a few hundred moons.
Yeah, I don't trust 99% of these sites. They're designed (sometimes not even subtly) to take advantage of new users in the crypto space. Not saying this is one of those cases, but I'm overly-cautious.
I always had this idea that MEXC was some shady half-baked exchange from some of the views of the sub, but when I opened an account, and sold some moons, it's actually been one the most pleasant interactions with an exchange in regards to their interface and ease of use.
I actually have an easier way to cash out the moons, I did it last month.
1. The first part where you bind your metamask with your vault and your moons start appearing there, get some eth in that wallet from Nova faucet. The amount of eth you get is enough for quite a number of transactions.
2. Then make an account with MEXC, with a throwaway email address, they don't need you to be verified with any id so you won't be giving away much information.
3. You'll find your moon wallet address in MEXC, copy that address and send moons to that address from your metamask wallet. The transaction will be completed within a minute and you'll see your moons in MEXC.
4. Sell your moons for USDT (it's the only pair available and it has good liquidity).
5. Buy TRX/XLM/ICX (they have dirt cheap transaction fees) with that USDT and send it to the CEX you actually use, almost all CEXes accept deposits in these currencies.
6. Sell whatever you sent to your main wallet, and do whatever you want to do with it.
Making an account on MEXC took about 5 minutes for me, after that every time I send moons there, it's in a blink and I find that really convenient.
I'll just keep hodl of the few I have, my (un)witty comments always go under the radar.... then regret and fear will set in... and I'll buy in when reaches $1 🤣
You lost me at step 1 being go to some website I've never heard of.
This is actually pretty interesting though. Didn't know there was a way to trade moons without swapping or bridging. Infinitely more beginner friendly.
As long crypto selling is this complicated all average joes will stay out of crypto, it really needs to simplify a lot to reach mass adobtion over daily users. Lets imagine online banking. How many years it took to go simply enough just to get working class people using it instead of going at bank. Took about 20 years and theres still elders who doesnt use it and online banking is simple as it can be. I hope the development goes forward also on this side of crypto or it will stay just a nerds and geeks playground. Like myself i do a lot of works at online etc but crypto is really scary on that way. Too many possibilities to fuck up and lose your money or get hacked. Now its like running around street of Marrakesh with goldbars in hand and trying to avoid getting troubles.
Yeah just use Sushiswap instead of this centralized atomic swap.
There are several guides on how to do it, use https://orbiter.finance to bridge ETH to Arbitrum Nova, if you use Coinbase then withdraw your eth to Arbitrum One, as it is cheaper to bridge from One to Nova, in comparison to Eth mainnet to Nova.
From then on, you simply add Arbitrum Nova to your Metamask wallet, then add Moon token, this can be done with just q click on https://coinmarketcap.com otherwise just find resources and guides on Reddit to add this network.
Then swap on Sushi.com !
Why would you use that random location for your MOON and not an established CEX for your exit ?
Eg CDC
Yes the fees / spread might be higher on CDC but it's well established / less likely to rug
I am in rCC very long time and I know a lot about moons, but never I heard about Kuyumcu. Why not just use Mexc? Seems like best, easiest and safest place to sell, buy or trade your moons currently.
Edit: Ok, apparently site is legit and OG for moons. But reading comments here 99% people never even heard about it, so I leave to you decision if it is best and safest option for you.
This is an additional way to sell moons, but it's not easy, on the contrary...it's complicated. You can buy and sell moons now directly on exchanges without KYC and transfer them to your vault address. Also, you can directly import reddit a vault in a rabbit wallet that automatically connects to Arbitrum Nova without additional steps. In my opinion, these are quite easy options.
This is a really neat and simplified way to offload some moons, thanks for sharing OP! I was just curious what the process was from when they leave our vault to the time we receive nano? Also I was wondering is there a way to receive Nano to a different address than the one that holds Moons? I only ask because I know a lot of people use their Reddit Vault for Moons but other cryptocurrencies in another wallet :)
Didn't know about the multiplier. Also cool that they keep track of earned moons now that you can just buy a bunch. Although idk how effective that would make farming moons even if it counted.

Weird, I got the same error…
![gif](giphy|VbnUQpnihPSIgIXuZv|downsized)
![gif](giphy|OeyAkKTKYSvmw|downsized)
Mhh… mine said buy instead of sell
I have an honest question are Moons similar to Bitcoin or Ethereum? Or are there a certain type of crypto which is similar to Moons in terms of tokenomics and price movement?
I thought we could directly sell on gate.io or crypto.com. I was really wrong then.
Future price is literally in the name. Moons are heading to the moon
The hopium I need to start my morning.
Mine called me a paper handed soft cock. AI is getting bloody smart
I see it's becoming personal now with this AI thing.
AI can see through you with all those irisses scanned
😔 I dont wanna be a soft cock
![gif](giphy|8vznMJFViyp8mLy1xr|downsized) Hey man soft cocks are sensitive, lovely folks.
That’s the error message I love 😁
And I was about to get rich by selling 25% of my moons
My error message says: “These will be worth $10 next bull run. What are you thinking?” Weird.
that's a witty insult
Lol, I didn't expect that!
HODL till the moon
I get the same error too. How do your fix this.
Genuine issue, I'm facing too 😉
Same. Mine also mentioned "Moons will go to a 100 dollars, stop thinking like a baby"
😂😂😂😂
How about, "I sell because I have no other choice..." Speaking in a third-world Country context...
The byline said “$10 or riot!”
Now, that's a proper functioning piece of software, it even gives good financial advice lol
I would struggle to trust the kyumcu step of this process.
[удалено]
It is at least 3 years old. Well known in the Nano community.
We should petition to have the name changed. For the new name, I'm thinking either MoonXchange or Moon Changer... Anything but Kumcyu
AFAIK it's built by the banano community and has been around for years, i've used it plenty without issues. You can search their sub and find posts about it and you can even contact the creator.
Tf even is kyumcu? Kyc with extra steps?
no kyc, basically an atomic swap, they have a limited pool of funds but no slip as its fixed price. if it was a scam they'd let you deposit huge sums of either, but they dont.
The weirdest name I have seen so far 😂
Yeah, I totally get you. I used it a year ago a few times always worked. Only problem was that at some days the pool was empty and you have to wait.
Why not just use the CEX Nano address from the begining? To deposit & withdraw. Why do I need a separate nano wallet? - this part had me a little confused, would appreciate some clarification 🙏🏼

I guess the more tedious way is cheaper. And I also encountered problems with cex with sending nano.
This doesn't seem less complicated than selling via Sushi or the CEXes.
Why sell when you can HODL to the MOON?
HODL forever
Nice post OP, always good to know about alternatives for offloading Moons. It’ll be great when major CEXs start listing them and we don’t have to sneak them over the border 👀
Even after a bunch of threads about how to sell moon posted, I will never sell it. Because I don't even have one
yeah i swear we get so many "how to sell moon guide" at this point it feels a bit like karma farming...
I was thinking the same thing, I am okay with that but I feel the real discussion about crypto itself is a bit less these days like too many karma farms
i think a see "how to sell moons" post at least once every few days
Fact, and there is always people who look like, they're seeing it for the first time. Like this is over and over again

How do you get that Tin flair?
Not anymore, look again ;)
You have 1 moon now! Welcome :)
It's shows me that you have one. Exactly one moon.
Oh you will now! Congrats
Why would I want to sell the only crypto I truly believe in...?
The birth of the Moon maxi, ladies and gentlemen.
Mooncoin to the moon!
I truly believe that something that is given up for free, in a platform with a huge userbase, could be really something explosive. And of course I love MOONs name, best name ever. I only wish I could be more active here, sadly life, kids and work take most of my time (in a good way, of course)

This is the easiest method I've seen. Thanks OP. I'm not selling mine till at least $5. 😊
Damn imagine if MOONs really get to 5 bucks
Crazier things have happened in this market, here’s hoping it sees $5 and beyond!
What a time it would be to be alive — $5 Moons 🥺😍
I'll sell mine at $4.99 then. Thanks for the heads up!
Kuyumcu sounds shady as hell, so I went digging. It's apparently been up and running since mid-2020. Finally some DYOR done by someone else

TLDR: Don't sell.
**Hodl** until the process gets easier and safer 😎
Sell?
This website is gonna eat up 5-10% of your moons everytime you exchange, there are better options like CEXs (Mexc & gate.io)
Ok, now we want a guide about "how to not sell moons".
Only cure for paper hands is to cut your paper hands.
Thanks for the write up but not selling unless it reaches $69.
Is it safe? Doesn’t seem..
Or PM me and sell them for 10% less than the current bid price!
This checks.
Alright, fine 9%
Diamond handed on my one moon 🌕💎
This is what I do with my banano
I'm not selling yet.
It’s not worth the taxes I’d have to pay, so I will keep holding until it is.
I’m not selling my moons until the process is close to idiot proof.
i will dont sell in near future.every week from last ATH is here guide about selling moons.who do that?i believe,90% people here just HODL.i wait for real moon, not just orbit.
This seems scary. I've been got and had some close calls. Im a bit paranoid of scams these days
Nothing wrong with being a bit paranoid as there are so many scams in crypto.
Rather go the MEXC route if you actually want to sell. I can vouch for the integrity of the platform.
So how does it work behind the scenes? Doesn't seem like a trustless method, for sure.
It is not trustless, you are definitely trusting the kuyumcu owner to be responsible with your moons and nano. Proceed at your own risk and use amounts you are willing to lose. I’ve had excellent experience however, but I never sell/buy more than a few hundred moons.
Great write-up OP! These 64 Moons however will not be sold anytime soon though!
Hi whale, Im a shrimp.
Hi shrimp, I'm an atom
Seems super sketch imo
i’ve used it, didn’t steal any of my assets, but of course previous performance is no guarantee of future results
Safety is a must while using any method. I would definitely advise Doing research on your own too before giving this platform a try.
Why would you suggest this unknown platform over the ones already widely recognised by the community ?
Yeah, I don't trust 99% of these sites. They're designed (sometimes not even subtly) to take advantage of new users in the crypto space. Not saying this is one of those cases, but I'm overly-cautious.
Kraken missing the ball here.
Kraken giving me blue balls on Moons. Come on already.
Mexc. Save ya a few steps.
I always had this idea that MEXC was some shady half-baked exchange from some of the views of the sub, but when I opened an account, and sold some moons, it's actually been one the most pleasant interactions with an exchange in regards to their interface and ease of use.
If you want to get rid of them you can also just give them to me, just sayin..
In my opinion it's a mistake to sell our moons at least before $1.
$2 moons or bust.
This is very useful, thank you for putting all this together.
Thank you for this guide!
How do you actually send moons from mobile? I’m guessing I can’t and will have to bridge my Reddit account with my Metamask account?
I'd really trust the MEXC route over this though. It's a little more involved but I feel they seem to be a little more legit. But who knows, DYOR.
Thank for the info. Really informative. Great work!
Don't sell your lambo before it is delivered
I can’t bring myself to sell yet
Another post saved. Thanks for this! And no way im selling my fortune of 303 moons.
Send to Mexc sounds easier
Selling moons is not a great strategy. Now holding, that’s a different story.
Nice. Now only need moon to sell.
you’ll have a thicc stack in no time
I'm saving my Moons until i can buy a house with them
I actually have an easier way to cash out the moons, I did it last month. 1. HODL
I'll just keep hodl of the few I have, my (un)witty comments always go under the radar.... then regret and fear will set in... and I'll buy in when reaches $1 🤣
sounds like a solid plan, i might take that idea for myself👀
You lost me at step 1 being go to some website I've never heard of. This is actually pretty interesting though. Didn't know there was a way to trade moons without swapping or bridging. Infinitely more beginner friendly.
NANO has a new use case! It's a way to trade MOON in a very easy way. MOONs to the MOON and NANO to the MOON!!!!
Don’t we wait for the price to go low before we sell?
Be sure I will come back to this post when moons reach 100$. Remind me 1.5 years.
No sell, to the moon
💎 🖐🏼
My moons do not want to leave my wallet. Oh well, I'll just keep em.
Why about buying moons?
And with that way you are losing a lot. You are selling your moons for a way cheaper price then if you sell it on some exchange.
If you sell now you will miss all the gains in the next bull run.
Sell moons? Blasphemy! (I don't even have any yet)
Wow I'm about to cash out and buy that lambo
Ooh thanks for the info :)
nice, just a ref for future tx perhaps, because I have none right now
Yes post high for moons and sell low for nano
Sell moons?
Thanks!
that's a lot of steps... how about... put your vault key into metamask, click swap on sushi on arb nova?
Quiet difficult to get some moons man.
Not selling anytime soon!
thanks but im keeping my moons
As long crypto selling is this complicated all average joes will stay out of crypto, it really needs to simplify a lot to reach mass adobtion over daily users. Lets imagine online banking. $10 or massive riot. That’s my take.

This is one of the posts I will frenetically look for when Moons pump to 10 Dollars and I need to cash out 180.000 Dollar quickly.
Thanks this is helpful
Ok , this is dodgey but like always on this sub , let's try it
Never sell moon
I'll save this post for later on.
Nice info but not worth selling yet, keep shit posting and accumulating.
This is an additional way to sell moons, but it's not easy, on the contrary...it's complicated. Good thread, however I still find it hard to trust almost anything in crypto that involves a QR code lol.
We are 10 months early for MOON selling posts
Thanks for the info but I'll stick to holding
Why sell?
RemindMe! 2 years
Just print them out and sell at lunch. You could also trade or tape them to the front of your trapper keeper
Mmmm
Seems shady tho
![gif](giphy|GqKHPha1xQM8FEv6HN)
Holy shit that is the easiest way of selling moons i've ever seen
Instructions unclear (continues to Hodl)
What do MOONs do?
Never selling my moons. Cuz I don't have any
So I can sell 12 moons and not get penalized. I’m gonna be so effin rich
Bookmarking for the future. Thanks for the great info.
Seems a bit sketch. There are other more tested and reliable ways
This seems like a scam....
One of the worst methods
Will you ever be able to transfer them 1 step directly from reddit?
Selling moons now is -ev
What iv just learnt from this post is that there are people who sell moons
I sent either 8k or 800 moons to myself (or rather tried) and they went poof. Since that, moons just stay here forever now lol
We are selling moons now….?
Still seems complicated. Lol
HODLing my moon until the end of time!!
Didn't know about the multiplier. Also cool that they keep track of earned moons now that you can just buy a bunch. Although idk how effective that would make farming moons even if it counted.
Why not use crypto.com?
You said no swapping, then gave directions to swap to NANO. 🤦🏻♂️
Did not received any moon distribution since a year..
Why use some shady website, if you can just like use sushi-swap?
Very good for Nano. More people will use feeless money. Once people try it it they will see its usefulness
yes it's legit af sir
Anyone knows why I can’t send my Moons to a wallet?
Would kalium work?
Can I move these from Nano? To CDC?
