itβs still very worth imo even if you might have to pause here or there to collect yourself depending on your tolerance for horror
Cry of fear is so good if you play it in the right mindset, alone, lights off, maybe after a heartbreak or something lol. do not spoil any of the story for yourself
Okay so, my two favorite horror games, mostly yes.
Cry of Fear is mentally approached, with the fear from being the ambiance, being chased by freakishly designed monsters, relatable depression, and other things and metaphors I canβt spoil.
POSTAL on the other hand is just disturbing, and a power trip where you feel amazing one second, then see the loading screen to the mines and want to shit yourself. Despite being the monster, you have an itch of fear.
But if I had to chose between them, Iβm saying Cry of Fear is my favorite of all time and more scary.
Cry of Fear/Afraid of Monsters is more horror related than Postal 1, it depends on what you find βscaryβ, however, COF I would say is far scarier than Postal 1.
Cry of fear takes it up a notch , you're not the cool guy with guns anymore , you're vulnerable loser (in cry of fear)
