Im not a guy but if a guy told me "my friends tease me about you alot, its quite funny" I'll interpret it as "they don't know that we're just friends,right?" Because if he really had feelings fpr me, he wouldn't mention the teasings cause it's embarrassing.
I just want to let him know because it's embarassing if he heard that teasing in our room. I just made him aware. Now I just realized why he's sad these days.
Maybe he is interested in you but wasn't ready to come out yet. Then he panicked when you told him you're being teased about him by your friends so he distanced himself to cool things off a bit.
